David Beckham described his new Homme fragrance at its September 26 launch in Beverly Hills, saying, “This is something that’s fresh, that’s modern, but very masculine,” according to WWD. David is serious about liking the scent, but had some fun on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the week before, going into a Target incognito as a salesperson and having customers smell the fragrance on his legs!

It’s adorable that he has such a great sense of humor about selling his newest scent, but in all honesty, he admits to wearing it most often on his neck.

Whether David likes the scent or not, there is no point in wearing it if wife Victoria Beckham doesn’t approve.

“I’m going to be wearing it a lot, so she needs to like it,” says David. So true!

David Beckham is no stranger to fragrances. He already has David Beckham Instinct and Intimately Beckham — a collaboration with wife Victoria Beckham — and Homme by David Beckham will be his third. No hints have been released as to what the new scent might smell like, but we can only guess that it will be sexy judging by these sneak-peek pics!

GQ.com gives us a look at the upcoming commercial for Homme where David runs shirtless through the streets. It will be released in September, but until then, enjoy the view!
