‘Teen Wolf’ Season 3 Spoilers: Isaac In Danger?

Even before we saw this clip of Isaac taking an involuntary dip, we knew that season three was going to be a rocky one for him. Back in Oct. 2012, MTV posted the first page of the season three premiere script, which revealed Isaac in a precarious situation with an unidentified lady.

In the script, Isaac’s bloody body was being dragged along the ground, before being jolted back to life. Cue dialogue:

Girl: Stay with me, we’re almost there.
Isaac: My neck…
Girl: From their claws. It’s how they share memories.
Isaac: But I don’t remember anything.
Girl: Also how they steal them.

We’re less than two months away from the season premiere of Teen Wolf — I know, I can’t believe it either — and because MTV knows we’re chomping at the bit for previews, the network has released official cast portraits of Isaac (Daniel Sharman) and all of the new alphas coming to Beacon Hills on June 3.

Let’s begin by discussing twin werewolves Aiden and Ethan (Max and Charlie Carver), who are a lot more covered up than the last time we saw them. We didn’t mind the shirtless teaser MTV shared with us back in February, but sometimes it’s nice to be reminded that the Teen Wolf stars have faces too.

And filling Erica’s vacant seat at the Alpha table is new she-wolf Kali (Felisha Terrell), who looks every bit as fierce as we imagined her.

Rounding up the new Alphas is Deucalion (Gideon Emery), the big-bad leader of the pack. He may have a refreshingly youthful look, but his name is ancient and terrifying — so we’ll be keeping our distance from him, thank you very much.

We’re also getting our first look at Adelaide Kane as the “mysterious” new girl, Cora. I know everybody in Beacon Hills is inherently mysterious, but the fact that they’re actually pointing it out makes her all the more suspicious to me.

If you love Teen Wolf‘s new howler Isaac (Daniel Sharman) as much as I do, I’ve got some news you might not want to hear: Isaac’s in on the brink of death in the first scene of season three! MTV posted the first page of the premiere script today, revealing a horrific scene between Isaac and a mysterious new girl who saves his life — using jumper cables.

According to the script, Isaac is found lying unconscious — and super bloody — in a garage by an unnamed girl, who literally jolts him back to life. Isaac has a puncture wound on his neck, which the girl explains “they” use to steal memories.

Who’s “they?”

And which of Isaac’s memories are “they” interested in?

We began the June 4 episode of Teen Wolf with a heartwarming scene between Isaac (Daniel Sharman) and his charmingly abusive father, who literally cut him in the face and told him to shut up about it. Isaac’s dad followed him after he took off into the night and — long story short — he ended up dead at the hands of a mysterious lizard creature. (Personally, I wasn’t saddened by this loss. Not only was the guy a jerk, but he couldn’t even pronounce his son’s name right! “Isai-ick?” Come on, now.)

Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) took a brief break from lurking in the shadows — and grooming his luscious eyebrows, or whatever — to hunt down said lizard creature, and of course he enlisted his favorite hormonal wolf pal Scott (Tyler Posey) to help him out! Their search led them to Isaac’s basement, where they discovered a box that had been used to contain him when he wolfed out. Allison (Crystal Reed) helped Scott use the box to keep himself at bay, but realized she was screwed when the friggin’ lizard creature came at her upstairs!

Cue Scott escaping. Cue Scott saving the day. Cue creepy lizard friend slithering off into the shadows. Cue me having several simultaneous heart attacks.

So now we’re left with one question: What the f**k was the creature that attacked Allison, and who is it in human form? (OK, fine, that’s technically two questions.) And as much as pains me to say this, judging by the familiar shriek the creature let out as it ran away, I’m inclined to guess that it’s none other than Lydia (Holland Roden). If only I could have gotten a good look at its lips — then I’d know for sure!

Meanwhile, Jackson (Colton Haynes) was super bummed to discover that his body did, in fact, reject Derek’s wolf bite. But it wasn’t a total loss for the audience, as Jackson had his really great pre-transformation ritual that basically involved him flexing shirtless for… well, I don’t really know how long it was for. But I do know I nearly broke the pause, rewind and play buttons on my remote.

OK, gimme all your thoughts: Do you think this means Jackson really isn’t a werewolf? Are you assuming Lydia is the lizard creature who attacked Allison? And, seriously, can we give a round of applause to the wardrobe department for taking the week off?
