We all know that Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) is with child, but there’s still one question lingering in Gossip Girl fans’ minds: Who the heck got her pregnant? Was it her fiancé Louis (Hugo Becker) or her secret-lover Chuck (Ed Westwick)? We may not know for sure, but we do know what each of her potential babies woud look like! And that’s enough for now.

A note to “Dair” fans (myself included): The possibility of Dan (Penn Badgley) somehow being the baby daddy has been all-but shot down by producers, but because I’m a dreamer, I included Dan and Blair’s potential match-up in our gallery as well.

After last night’s game-changing season premiere, Gossip Girl fans worldwide are playing a feverish game of Pin the Tail on the Baby Daddy. But while most seem certain that Blair (Leighton Meester) is either carrying the spawn of Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) or the royal seed of Prince Louis (Hugo Becker), allow me to propose a third potential baby planter — Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley)!

Not only would a “Dair” baby throw a total wrench in the Upper East Side, giving this show its most mind-blowing twist ever, but it would also reinforce my firm belief that Dan and Blair’s two worlds can successfully come together as one. Of course, it’s also possible I watched The Little Mermaid one too many times as a kid. (If a mer-person and a man-person can make a baby, anyone can, damn it!)

So how would such a pregnancy be possible, you ask? After all, was it not Chuck Bass we saw porking Blair Waldorf on last season’s (pun intended) climactic finale? Of course it was — but that’s where the magic of “flashbacks” comes in. Wouldn’t it be a killer twist if, later on this season, we learn that Chuck wasn’t the only guy Blair slept with?

Let’s be honest: if a girl is willing to stoop so low as to cheat on her prince fiancé with a baby raccoon like Chuck Bass, I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to find out she also slept with Dan.

OK, that officially ends my rant for the day and now it’s your turn to direct your crazy at me. Who do you think knocked up Blair Waldorf — and more importantly, who do you hope knocked up Blair Waldorf?

As we had hoped, the season five premiere of GG kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end. The last time we watched our favorite Upper Eastsiders, Blair (Leighton Meester) was planning on going to Monaco and getting ready to marry Prince Louis after her rendezvous with Chuck (Ed Westwick). Meanwhile, Serena (Blake Lively) was jetting off to LA to spend time with her grandmother and her cousin, Charlie (Kaylee Defer), ended up not being her cousin, but really a girl named Ivy…and Nate (Chace Crawford)  and Raina (Tika Sumpter)  split. Needless to say, it’s safe to say a lot changed in the heat of the summer.

That said, the Biggest ‘OMG’ moment of the night was finding out at the very end of the episode WHO was pregnant! In the show’s opening, Gossip Girl herself sent out a blast notifying the UES that somebody was expecting, but the blast never got around to Blair. Later, Blair’s mom confronted her about a What To Expect When Expecting Book – that she found in Blair’s closet — and Dorota chimed in and said it was her book!

Congrats, Dorota on baby number two!

After that, we thought we were in the clear as far as Upper Eastside pregnancies were concerned, but we spoke too soon. When Blair was at a fitting for her wedding dress, the tailor asked her, “do they know how far along you are?” Yep, Blair is pregnant, too! She looked really surprised when the tailor questioned her, so we’re assuming Blair really didn’t know.  At this point, we’re definitely crossing our fingers it’s Chuck Bass’s baby!

More ‘OMG’ Moments:

1. Serena’s NOT Going Back to Columbia!

Serena left NYC to get away for the summer, but she ended up finding a job as production assistant on the set of a Hollywood movie! Even after being tricked by her co-worker to buy weed for an actor on set , she was offered a full-time gig and accepted! We’re definitely excited to see what trouble Serena will stir up in LaLa land.

2. Nate’s After Another Cougar!

It’s not hard to forget Nate’s love affair with the Countess, who was about 20 years older than him — and it looks like he’s back to his old ways. Elizabeth made an appearance in tonight’s episode as Nate’s hookup buddy for the night, and we’re sure we’ll be seeing much more of her. The question is though: will Nate stay in LA, or will she chase him back to the Big Apple?

3. Dan Finds Out Vanessa Stole His Book!

Dan receives word that a chapter of his book is about to published in Vanity Fair! But the problem is, he’s never let anyone read his book — which is apparently about BLAIR. As we know, Vanessa stole the entire manuscript and sent it to a publishing company, which can’t be good news — especially since Dan went out of his way to contact Louis to stop just one chapter being published. Imagine the disaster an entire novel will cause!

4. Ivy Lives in LA!

Last but not least, Ivy — aka Charlie, Serena’s cousin — bumps into Serena at a cafe in LA! Serena of course does not know that Ivy is not her cousin.

When we last saw Dan Humphrey‘s novel, it was in the hands of a bitter Vanessa Abrams as she sold the “anonymous” work to a publisher. The novel rears its ugly head in the season premiere of Gossip Girl and already begins affecting one of Dan’s female friends whom he has made out with in the past.

Executive producer Josh Safran spoke about Dan’s novel at a Q&A session on Sept. 21. “Dan’s book is a season-long arc,” he explained. “That doesn’t mean it’s not going to be published until the end of the year.”

So if it does get published, or even if it doesn’t but his friends get a hold of parts of it, what will they think? “Everyone does have a reaction and it’s not necessarily the reaction that Dan expects them to have,” confessed Josh. “It’s also not the reaction that they expect to have.”

Josh added that they “would love” to actually write Dan’s book for GG fans but that Dan’s writing is “very good” and took him six years to write, and they don’t have time at the moment to do it justice.

He also revealed that Dan will be focusing a lot on his book and made it seem like Dan’s emphasis would be less on his love life and more on the scandal associated with his novel going public.

Another scoop Josh gave out? Nate and Dan might be having bromantic relationship troubles soon! “That friendship is going to have some complications thrown into play very soon,” Josh teased.

‘Gossip Girl’ is finally back and Blair is finding herself in not just a love triangle, but an actual love square!

Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) is having a tough time these days. Her job at W is leaving her stressed and she may be experiencing strong feelings for Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), something she could have never expected. Further complicating things, her ongoing emotions for ex Chuck (Ed Westwick) and the unexpected arrival of Prince Grimaldi (Hugo Becker). What’s an Upper East Sider to do?

We know that Blair is going to be engaged by the end of the season, we just don’t know who to! Take a look at the teaser for the remainder of the season and be sure to tune in to the CW at 9 pm tonight!

Last week on Gossip Girl, we watched as Blair decided she wanted to intern for a fashion magazine and found out that newcomer Mr. Thorpe was going to do everything he could to buy Bass Industries — and completely destroy the company. This week, it looks like Chuck has found himself a new girlfriend, and she’s exactly who he shouldn’t be getting close to: Mr. Thorpe’s daughter! Is Chuck really into her, or is he just up to his usual scheming ways?

Of course, Blair has already found her dream internship, but it looks like she has some pretty tough competition. And it also looks like someone completely unexpected may be joining her in the internship. We always knew that Dan wanted to be a writer, but for a fashion magazine?! Although Blair and Dan seem more friendly lately, we know how much she hates competing for the spotlight. And it looks like she gets in a little fist fight — we can’t wait to find out who she’s feuding with now!

Chuck Bass who? TVLine is reporting that Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) has her sights set on the loneliest boy of the Upper East Side! That’s right — the tension between Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and Blair is about to turn sexual. ”They share a lot of the same interests,” Gossip Girl Executive Producer Stephanie Savage tells the site. ”And as much as they might want to hate each other, there are a lot of reasons for them to like each other.”

There’s no word yet as to when said hook-up will go down, but we’ll definitely be waiting with bated breath. O-M-G indeed!

A baby, a breakdown and a cat fight! Which Gossip-worthy moment left YOU totally speechless?

BFFs, the night we’ve  been waiting for all summer has finally come — the fourth season of Gossip Girl is here! Many questions were left unanswered after last May’s finale, and in typical Gossip Girl fashion, the Sept. 13 premiere shocked me from beginning to end. Since Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester) have left the Upper East Side to conquer the streets of Paris for the summer,  they’ve been swooning over Chanel shoes and cute boys. But B and S have a harsh reality to face when they return to the streets of Manhattan.

Here are our favorite OMG moments from tonight’s episode:

1. Georgina has a baby!

We were skeptical when Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) showed up “pregnant” in the third season finale. But now that it’s confirmed she was pregnant and has a baby as proof, we just have one question: Is Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) really the daddy?

2. Chuck Bass is alive!

This was by far the biggest OMG moment of the night for me! Last time we saw Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), he was bleeding to death after being shot in an alley. Now we know he’s alive and well — very well, actually. He’s romantically involved with a mysterious blonde, and he’s en route to Paris! Uh-oh…

3. Serena decides to go Columbia!

After a year of putting college aside, I’m so glad to see that Serena has finally come to her senses, choosing to enroll at Columbia University in the fall. And best of all: BFFs Serena and Blair will be reunited once again!

4. Blair admits she misses Chuck!

Blair acts all tough and pushes BFF Serena into a fountain, but she eventually lets down her guard and confesses she’s still totally hurting post-breakup from Chuck!

5. Who is Juliet Sharp?

After Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) hears that Serena will be back in NYC for the school year, he clings to a new mysterious girl named Juliet Sharp (Katie Cassidy.) But it doesn’t look like it’ll be a drama-free love connection after catching a glimpse of Juliet’s room decked with newspaper clippings of the the Gossip Girl clan.
