Call me a sucker for a good twist, but I think a ‘Dair’ baby is exactly what this show needs!
After last night’s game-changing season premiere, Gossip Girl fans worldwide are playing a feverish game of Pin the Tail on the Baby Daddy. But while most seem certain that Blair (Leighton Meester) is either carrying the spawn of Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) or the royal seed of Prince Louis (Hugo Becker), allow me to propose a third potential baby planter — Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley)!
After a summer of guessing who belonged to the abandoned pregnancy test in the Serena and Blair’s trash — the Sept. 26th premiere of ‘Gossip Girl’ reveals TWO Upper Eastsiders are expecting this season!
As we had hoped, the season five premiere of GG kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end. The last time we watched our favorite Upper Eastsiders, Blair (Leighton Meester) was planning on going to Monaco and getting ready to marry Prince Louis after her rendezvous with Chuck (Ed Westwick). Meanwhile, Serena (Blake Lively) was jetting off to LA to spend time with her grandmother and her cousin, Charlie (Kaylee Defer), ended up not being her cousin, but really a girl named Ivy…and Nate (Chace Crawford) and Raina (Tika Sumpter) split. Needless to say, it’s safe to say a lot changed in the heat of the summer.
Dan Humphrey’s tell-all book is on its way to getting published, courtesy of Vanessa, but will it ruin everything for Dan? Can his UES friends ever forgive him? Josh Safran reveals a few hints!
When we last saw Dan Humphrey‘s novel, it was in the hands of a bitter Vanessa Abrams as she sold the “anonymous” work to a publisher. The novel rears its ugly head in the season premiere of Gossip Girl and already begins affecting one of Dan’s female friends whom he has made out with in the past.
‘Gossip Girl’ is finally back and Blair is finding herself in not just a love triangle, but an actual love square!
Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) is having a tough time these days. Her job at W is leaving her stressed and she may be experiencing strong feelings for Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), something she could have never expected. Further complicating things, her ongoing emotions for ex Chuck (Ed Westwick) and the unexpected arrival of Prince Grimaldi (Hugo Becker). What’s an Upper East Sider to do?
OMG! Tonight’s episode of ‘Gossip Girl’ looks like it is going to be pretty crazy — watch the preview to see what kind of drama is going to go down!
Last week on Gossip Girl, we watched as Blair decided she wanted to intern for a fashion magazine and found out that newcomer Mr. Thorpe was going to do everything he could to buy Bass Industries — and completely destroy the company. This week, it looks like Chuck has found himself a new girlfriend, and she’s exactly who he shouldn’t be getting close to: Mr. Thorpe’s daughter! Is Chuck really into her, or is he just up to his usual scheming ways?
Tell us: Are these two better off as frenemies, or is their chemistry too strong to deny?
Chuck Bass who? TVLine is reporting that Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) has her sights set on the loneliest boy of the Upper East Side! That’s right — the tension between Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and Blair is about to turn sexual. “They share a lot of the same interests,” Gossip Girl Executive Producer Stephanie Savage tells the site. “And as much as they might want to hate each other, there are a lot of reasons for them to like each other.”
A baby, a breakdown and a cat fight! Which Gossip-worthy moment left YOU totally speechless?
BFFs, the night we’ve been waiting for all summer has finally come — the fourth season of Gossip Girl is here! Many questions were left unanswered after last May’s finale, and in typical Gossip Girl fashion, the Sept. 13 premiere shocked me from beginning to end. Since Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester) have left the Upper East Side to conquer the streets of Paris for the summer, they’ve been swooning over Chanel shoes and cute boys. But B and S have a harsh reality to face when they return to the streets of Manhattan.
Do your girlfriends ever give you positive – but utterly unhelpful – love advice? The gals on Gossip Girl are no different!
BFF’s Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) have finally taken their relationship to the next level (meaning, they’re doing the deed – repeatedly) on Gossip Girl this season, but naturally, they’re having a few problems because they’ve been stuck in the besties rut for way too long. Cue Dan’s ex, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), who puts the pressure on Vanessa to “keep the romance alive by trying new things.”
Hey, just be glad CW didn’t show Dan Humphrey’s threesome in print!
Really, what did you expect from a show that thrives on controversy? Gossip Girl has tackled a threesome, drug use, underage drinking, dealing and even murder. The show’s trailer posters would only naturally reflect all that bad goodness.
However, according to the series creator, Josh Schwartz, the Season 2 poster has some naysayers crying “Too controversial!”
“[Here is] The #GossipGirl Season 2 poster TPTB (The Powers That Be) deemed too controversial for the public eye. What do you think?” Josh, 33, tweeted Jan. 6.
A ménage à trois, crazy cliffhangers and a John Doe, oh my! Here is what shocked us here at HollywoodLife.com most on the small screen this year.
There’s no denying 2009 was an insane year for scripted TV. Our TiVos had a hard time keeping up with all the fresh new shows (um, who didn’t Glee-k out to “Don’t Stop Believin'” with Mr. Schuester?) and the A-list guest stars (remember Jennifer Aniston puckering up to Alec Baldwin on “30 Rock?”). That said, there were a few jaw-dropping moments we still haven’t erased from our DVRs. Here are our top three OMG-worthy picks. Read more
Read on at your own risk…something totally exciting is happening on the Upper East Side!
We know you’ve been waiting for this moment since Gossip Girl premiered in 2007. Dan Humphrey ( Penn Badgley ) and Vanessa Abrams ( Jessica Szohr ) are finally going to get it on – and this time, there’s no threesome involved. Oh no, it’s just sweet, sweet love for the longtime besties.
How is the deed done? “Shortly after the show returns in March, Dan + Vanessa + mojitos = Ay Caramba!” says EW’s Michael Ausiello.
It’s about time!
Mama Mia! Meryl Streep Loves GG ! Even one of Hollywood’s elite loves our favorite Upper East Siders’ antics.
A spy tells HollywoodLife that the Oscar winner dropped by the Empire Hotel (a frequent filming location of the hit CW series that’s owned on-screen by debonair Chuck Bass) in NYC earlier this week for some personal business.
As she walked out the front door with a pal to hail a taxi, Meryl asked her friend, “I wonder if this is a regular taxi or a Gossip Girl taxi? I really like that show!”
Who knew Meryl was a fan?!
