Kevin Clash, better known as the voice and puppeteer of Elmo on Sesame Street, was previously accused of having sexual relations with an underage boy, and now a second victim has come forward with a new lawsuit. TMZ reports the new victim claims he was “preyed on” by Kevin, and he is demanding more than $5 million in compensation.

This new victim is now in his 30s, and he claims that he met Kevin through a gay hotline in 1993 when he was 15 year old. Kevin would have been 32 at the time.

The accuser claims Kevin “trolled gay telephone chat line rooms to meet and have sex with underage boys” and ”groomed [the accuser] to gain his trust by, among other things, taking him to nice dinners and giving him money.”

The lawsuit has been filed in the state of New York, and the accuser says that while Kevin was on Sesame Street, he was “preying on teenage boys to satisfy his depraved sexual interests.”

The alleged crime happened nearly two decades ago, but the accuser is only filing his claim now, because “did not become aware that he had suffered adverse psychological and emotional effects from Kevin Clash’s sexual acts and conduct until 2012.”

Sesame Workshop released the following statement to TMZ about Kevin’s resignation:

“Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding Kevin’s personal life has become a distraction that none of us want, and he has concluded that he can no longer be effective in his job and has resigned from Sesame Street. This is a sad day for Sesame Street.”

Kevin has already been accused of sexual abuse by another man, who later recanted his allegations.

Lindsay Lohan arrived in LA on Nov. 20, where she’s expected to face charges from last June, when she lied to police about being behind the wheel during a traffic accident. It’s likely that her probation will be revoked, and she’ll return to jail. Between that, and finding out that her father has a love child, this really isn’t Lindsay’s week.

HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Lindsay could face jail time, and now that’s looking more and more certain. She’s currently under probation for her previous jewelry theft charges. In June of this year, her Porsche was involved in a car accident with a truck, and originally she said it was her assistant Gavin Doyle who was driving, when in fact it was Lindsay herself.

Now, Lindsay is about to have her probation revoked, as lying to a police officer is an offense. LA County Superior Court Judge Jane Godfrey is set to have Lindsay arraigned, and it is highly likely that she will revoke her probation because she broke the law.

According to TMZ, the criminal case will be filed soon.

Lindsay is currently promoting her new movie Liz & Dick, where she got used to wearing lots of diamonds to play Elizabeth Taylor. Now, she might have to get used to wearing orange instead!

Tragedy struck a Bronx family on Nov. 7 when a father was so upset after his wife left him, he locked himself in the bathroom with his son, and tried to commit an alleged murder-suicide with poisoned pizza.

Law enforcement told NBC 4 New York that the kids’ parents had recently split, so they were spending the evening with their father at their step-grandmother’s apartment.

The man called his estranged wife and told him he was going to kill himself just after midnight, according to sources, so she rushed over to the apartment in the Morris Heights neighborhood of the Bronx.

Moments later, his step-mother called police saying he had locked himself in the bathroom with his son. When police and the kids’ mother arrived, the boy was unresponsive and the girl was vomiting.

They were rushed to Saint Barnabus Hospital, where the boy was pronounced dead. The girls’ condition was not immediately known.

Sources say the father told police he poisoned himself and his kids with something on their pizza. Police are still questioning the suspect.

Such a tragedy. Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Vanessa Clark of Lufkin, Texas, has been found guilty of child endangerment, and was charged with the death of her two-month-old son Tristan Clark after prosecutors learned her first son, one-month-old Christian Clark, died in a similar way in 2009. She should have learned the first time around that sleeping with infants is dangerous!

The 33-year-old mother believed the first death was caused by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, while the babies sleep with her and husband, Mark Clark. As many as 7,000 babies a year die from SIDS in the US, the single largest killer of newborns. Infants can easily be suffocated by their parents or by bedding and and pillows.

Vanessa has been warned by Child Protection Services about the dangers of sleeping with infants, but since she ignored those orders, the court reached the legal threshold of child endangerment in Texas law. ”It may not be illegal to sleep with your child, but it is illegal to put your child in imminent danger,” said prosecutor Dale Summa.

Her sentencing will be announced within the next six weeks.

Last year on July 23, 8-year-old Jessica Cirella was found dead in her Plainview, New York home from a severe allergic reaction to peanuts, according to the Huffington Post. Her mother Veronica Cirella, 31, has been accused of murdering her daughter, but pleaded not guilty on April 4 to second-degree murder of Jessica — She faces a life sentence for the murder accusation!

Young Jessica had cerebral palsy — along with her severe allergy — and her mom thought by killing her that Jessica would be free of pain. Veronica reportedly gave M&Ms to treat her daughter for participating in a wedding, which ultimately ended her young life. Veronica then attempted suicide.

“I had to give her a better life, which was to give her back to heaven,” Veronica’s alleged suicide note reads. “I don’t mind going to hell because I took my life to give her a better life, which is in heaven where she can be free.”

The detailed suicide note was found when Veronica was lying next to her daughter’s dead body. The two were found by Veronica’s mother-in-law Dolores Cirella. She allegedly tried to kill herself with a combination of insulin and painkillers, then proceeded to strangle herself with an electrical cord, according to News One.

How can someone, a mother, do such a horrific thing!

Betty-Jo Tagerson, 40, is convicted of vehicular homicide, culpable negligence manslaughter and two counts of reckless driving with serious injury after running over 5-year-old triplets as they played in their front yard, according to The Daily Mail.

The woman was upset after an argument with her boyfriend and sped through the neighborhood in a vehicle with bad breaks and bald tires. The car was in such poor condition, she used a bungee cord to close the driver door.

Betty-Jo lost control of her Jeep, went up on a curb and hit a group of kids playing. She hit the 5-year-old triplets, a neighbor girl and a friend, Marissa Manuli. All of the girls sustained injuries, and one triplet, Delany Rossman, died.

“The sentence I receive today will not bring sweet Delaney back, nor will it help her family forgive my decision to get in the car that day, but I am truly sorry for what’s happened,” Betty-Jo said in court. “Feelings of regret and sadness have haunted me. Still, more than a year later, I cannot stop thinking about the little girl who I personally knew.”

Josh Powell was never charged or arrested with the disappearance of his wife, Susan Cox Powell, even after her blood was found in their Utah home. Susan’s sister, Denise Cox says police could have saved Braden, 7, and Charlie, 5, from dying in a fiery explosion if Josh was arrested, according to The Daily Mail.

Cox tells ABC:  ”Look what it did — it killed my nephews, by not putting [Josh Powell] behind bars when he should have been.”

Denise is not the only one that believes the boys could still be alive today if Josh would have been arrested and put in jail — her father, Chuck Cox, agrees.

“When I heard them [the new evidence], it was like, well, why didn’t you arrest him already? Had he been to jail, my grandchildren would still be alive,” he adds.

Now that Josh has killed himself and his two young boys in a horrific fire, there is not much for the police to go off of, but Susan’s family hopes the investigation will find new evidence. Let’s hope they do!

Colorado police officers David and Tiffany O’Shell were accused of harming their 3-month-old daughter, Alyssa, after doctor’s found 11 fractures in her legs. However, it wasn’t actually abuse — Their daughter suffered from an undiagnosed, fatal condition in infants, according to The Daily Mail.
