It looks like the Steelers have a tiny Twitter fan — and a good luck charm!

Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Laine Mazza dressed daughter Gia, 4 months, in a pretty pink Steeler’s outfit. Football has never looked this girly! The little sports fan popped up on twitter when @MarioLopezExtra tweeted, “Go Steelers!! Gia Francesca is fired up!”

Maybe it was Gia’s seven point victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The final score was 31 – 24. The Steelers will now go on to play the New York Jets who just beat the New England Patriots. The ‘Extra’ host tells HollywoodLife.com which celebrity dad is inspiring him as he counts down the days till his own little bundle of joy arrives.

Extra‘s Mario Lopez just can’t wait to be a daddy. He’s super excited and with D-day just around the corner for his girlfriend, Courtney Laine Mazza, Mario’s been busy preparing to be a first-time father. And guess who he says is his celebrity daddy role model? Will Smith!

“Will Smith seems like a great dad,” Mario told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at mur.mur nightclub at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ on July 17. “There’s a lot of dads, but his kids are little stars and they seem to be doing well!”

Mario confessed that he’s a little scared about his impending fatherhood. “I’m just nervous about everything because I’ve never done it before and I’m worried,” he said. “I’m fired up and we’re going to be playmates. I’ve been around babies and kids all my life, so it’s not foreign to me.”

Like most first-time parents, he’s been inundated with parenting tips from friends and family. “I’ve gotten a lot of great pieces of advice but one constant is ‘get your rest now,’” said Mario. “I think you have to make your own way and if you come from a place of love and try to do the right thing, there’s no way you could fail.”

With a big smile on his face, it was clear that Mario was thrilled to talk baby, and he told us that he’d love to have more children, but just doesn’t know how many yet. “I’d like to have more later on,” he said, “but I want to get through the first one first.”

And luckily, the pregnancy has been an easy one for Courtney. “She’s like the best pregnant girl,” Mario bragged. “She hasn’t gotten sick once, she hasn’t really been moody . She just sleeps a lot and is craving a lot of cherries and strawberries.”

Unfortunately, Mario couldn’t tell us if he’s having a boy or a girl as the couple has decided to wait to find out. “It’s one of life’s great surprises,” he said. “It’s pretty exciting anticipating.”

We might even see one of Mario’s former Saved by the Bell co-star Tiffani-Amber Thiessen show up on his new reality series. “She just had a baby and I’m so happy for her. I hope we can arrange play dates,” Mario said. “That’d be fun!”

Sounds like Saved By the Bell: The Next Generation. We’d definitely tune in to watch that!

Mario congrats and glad you’re going for the Big Surprise on Birth Day: “I’m going to wait to find out if it’s a boy of a girl,” he told me. “I want that whole ‘it’s a surprise’” factor!

It was completely obvious that actor Mario Lopez is thrilled to bits about first-time daddyhood. “It’s going great. I’m excited,” a beaming Mario, 36, told me  at the 12th Annual Young Hollywood Awards at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in LA oay 13. But, “there’s no blueprint or manual” to learning to be a first time father he explained, so, “I’m going to write a book for first time dads !”

For now , the host of Extra, America’s Best Dance Crew sand the host of our Young Hollywood Awards says he’s just ”taking a lot of advice, letting it all process,” and when the baby arrives, ”I’m going to be very hands on – you’ll probably see me doing the diapering and the bottles on Extra.”

And, though Mario’s girlfriend, Courtney Laine Mazza (a Broadway dancer that he’s been seriously involved with since 2008), “isn’t that far along” yet — the couple just released the news that they’re expecting on Mar. 10 — Mario says he’ll be taking baby birth prep classes and jokes that ”my kid will probably end up being born on screen!”

“I’m looking forward to every minute, just the whole process.”
