It’s not official yet, but things aren’t looking pretty for Courteney Cox‘s sitcom, Cougar Town. ABC released it’s mid season scheduled Nov. 18 and suspiciously left off the one show about which we’re OBSESSED.

Instead, Kristin Chenoweth‘s Good Christian Belles is replacing Pan Am and Work It and The River are all premiering. Grrr.

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have always been inseparable, but ever since Courteney’s split from husband David Arquette the famous relationship has cooled as Jen feels Courteney is treating David the same way her ex Brad Pitt treated her when he left the actress and started dating Angelina Jolie! US Weekly spoke with an source close to Jen who said she has a major problem with Courteney’s relationship with Cougar Town costar Brian Van Holt. “Jen thinks Courteney is acting callous by running around with [Brian] but refusing to file divorce papers,” the source explains. Ouch!

Jen was devastated when Brad began dating Angelina immediately after their split, and now she feels Courteney is doing the same thing to David. What’s worse is that David told Howard Stern Courteney was having an “emotional affair” with Brian while they were together, the same claim Brad made about Angelina! “Courteney justifies it by saying she didn’t sleep with Brian before she and David separated, but Brad said that about Angelina,” says the source.

Soap opera and sitcom star Carolyn Hennesy spoke exclusively to Hollywoodlife.com on all the deets about her character on Cougar Town, her real life relationship with Courtney Cox, and what to expect in her new book!

As we already know, Carolyn‘s character Barb is the ultimate cougar on the show, but who is the cougar in real life? According to Carolyn, she is! This flirtatious cougar said, “I think it’s me. Carolyn the actress is thrilled whenever she gets to play with young men… I love to look. I ‘loooove’ to look. Catch, you know, happily married, can’t act on that, but boy I love to look!” Naughty, Naughty!

Carolyn also confessed she’d love to be in Jules‘ friend group especially because the thought of hanging out and drinking wine all day out of “Big Carl” sounds great to her even though Jules seems to be a challenge to figure out. “How does she always know where Jules is going to be? How does she know where to show up? The thing about Barb is she got a lock on Jules. She knows exactly who Jules is. She gets it,” Carolyn says about the two characters. Next year we may see Barb in her own relationship with someone who is already on the show making it possible for Barbs and Jules’ to become a little closer!

When talking about dream story arches, Carolyn says she had to work with Jules and become part of her “cob realty” in order to integrate her into the world of cougars. And, as most dream stories, Barb wants to find a Saudi Prince to marry and run off to live on a private island. I hope her dream comes true!

Carolyn also spoke highly about Courtney Cox. They aren’t BFF’s but they definitely aren’t rivals either! She said over and over again what a doll she was and how beautiful she is inside and out, “she’s as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside and that’s saying something because she’s pretty gorgeous on the outside,” Carolyn gushed.  You would think as an actress married to an actor, as Courtney is to David Arquette, and with the admiration Carolyn has for Courtney, she would be jumping to give any marital advice to her boss/co-star to pull through the some-what of a difficult time she’s going through with her hubby. But in fact, she doesn’t want to offer any advice because she puts all of her time in effort into her own relationship!

Not only is she the star of two hit shows, but Carolyn has also just  released a book titled “The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli” in which she wrote for ABC/Disney Hyperion which is about Damian Spinelli’s character from the show and she’s “created about 15-16 stories, in which he is always the hero. He interacts with everybody on the campus in Port Charles…It’s all the characters from his point of view and it’s very funny, very endearing. You see all your favorite characters kind of in a different light.”

With working on book six of her Pandora series for young adults and her two acting gigs, Carolyn is one busy gal these days!

She admits to having a little fin with the paparazzi & posing like a ‘Sports Illustrated’ model!

Courteney Cox appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on April 13 to address a very important issue plaguing Hollywood today: the nip slip epidemic. Specifically, she discussed the now-infamous paparazzi photo from her recent trip to St. Barts, in which she had a bit of a bikini malfunction herself. “I was cold,” she confessed, much to the audience’s surprise.

“I was working it pretty hard,” the Cougar Town star, 46, continued. “It became a joke, like ‘Let’s see how Sports Illustrated we can get.’ I sucked it in, I moved, my arms were stretched out. I don’t walk like that.”

The Love Consultants — professional matchmaker and dating coach Matt Titus and his wife, author and media personality Tamsen Fadal — take on the hot question: Is Courteney crossing the line with her new romance?

Courteney Cox looks like she’s dating her Cougar Town co-star Josh Hopkins but there’s one catch — he used to go out with her bestie Jennifer Aniston. HollywoodLife.com asked The Love Consultants, Matt Titus and Tamsen Fadal, to weigh in on how big a blow top their friendship this might be!

Matt’s Take:

Even though some folks insist that Courtney’s “strictly platonic” vacation in St. Bart’s with Josh is exactly that, I don’t buy it. These two look like they’re an item — and having a blast. And I say good for her! She’s a beautiful woman, recently separated from wildman/boy David Arquette. Why shouldn’t she enjoy herself?

The interesting aspect of Courtney’s little getaway with Josh is that he dated her famous BFF Jen! Things didn’t work out for Josh and Jen. Word is he wasn’t really that into her! So he’s now spending time with Courtney. Will that make things weird between the two former Friends co-stars? Is it OK to date your best friend’s ex? My answer is simple — yes you can!

After all, if everyone is single again, who cares? And hopefully they’ll understand. If they don‘t, then they need to get over it! Women are more prone to label a guy an ex even if they only had two dates. But c’mon — two dates do not make a relationship!

I always say all’s fair in love and war. You can’t fight attraction, because where there is chemistry there is potential. Of course you can date a friend‘s former flame. The real question should be: Is it possible to keep your friendship in the process?

The truth is we’ve all had friends with failed romances. And sometimes that hot ex is just too much to resist. Once the attraction becomes mutual, desire takes over, our minds and bodies take control. And the rest is, well, two people grinning like idiots while jumping around in the St. Bart’s surf together!

I think the connection between Jen and Courtney can withstand anything. They’ve been rocks for each other during some pretty stressful and emotional periods of their lives. I don’t think Courtney getting a “lil’ sumthin, sumthin” with Josh is going upset her bud. I don’t think Jen was particularly serious with Josh, who’s known as a bit of a player himself.

I say live and let live folks — and let’s cheer on Courtney as she moves ahead in her dating and personal life!

Tamsen’s Take:

Courtney and Josh seemed to have a hard time keeping their clothes on around each other while on vacation in St. Bart’s. So it’s safe to say they are definitely more than platonic co-workers. They look like two people who are enjoying a budding romance.

The source of drama regarding their hanging out is Josh’s past romantic history with Courtney’s best bud Jen, who dated the Cougar Town hunk casually in May 2010 after meeting through — drum roll, please — Courtney! Wow, what’s a girl to do?!

Now dating a close friend’s current partner is a definite no-go! That leads to real betrayal and heartbreak. So is dating a friend’s ex any different?

After all, what happened between the two of them is history. If everyone is a mature, independent adult, it really shouldn’t matter if you want to date your friend’s ex. Right? Wrong!

It does matter — but this kind of decision falls into a murky romantic gray zone, where there are, unfortunately, are no easy answers…

The hard and fast rule, between us girls, is this: Only the worst kind of gal would ever date a friend’s ex-boyfriend. You must NEVER violate the bonds of sisterhood for some guy!

In reality though, dating a friend’s ex can and does happen. If you decide to pursue your new friendship-complicated romance, there’s important protocols to follow.

First and foremost, be upfront and honest with your friend about your intentions. The absolute worst thing you can do is to let your friend discover your liaison with their ex through the grapevine! I hope Jennifer isn’t learning of Courtney and Josh’s current romance by logging on to HollywoodLife.com!

There must be respect for your friend’s feelings before you make the move to connect with their former flame. If they’re OK with it, then it’s possible to maintain your friendship.

Courteney should spend less time with men and more time with her daughter!

It’s great to see Courteney Cox making the effort to integrate David Arquette in her new life for the sake of their six-year-old daughter Coco. Even though the couple is separated and Courteney, 46, has been spotted getting cozy with her Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins, the proud parents were recently spotted with Coco at Disney World. But experts are worried these vacations with the various men in Courteney’s life could be confusing for Coco!

HollyBaby.com spoke exclusively with Dr. Gilda Carle, author of Don’t Bet on the Prince!, and she said vacations like the one with Courteney and David could make it harder for Coco to process that her parents are no longer together!

“Children want to see Mom and Dad come back together under the same roof,” Dr. Carle says. “So I wonder whether they are misleading Coco to think that this is even possible.  They should be having long and truthful discussions with their daughter letting her know what the real score is — if they even know it at this point.”

Dr. Carle also thinks its a bad idea for Coco to go on family trips with a new boyfriend like Josh.

“If the young child is not confused enough at this point, this will add to any potential confusion in the future,” she says. “New boyfriends should not be introduced into a child’s life unless or until the relationship is very serious.  Also, she won’t know to whom to show her allegiance — ‘Daddy’ or ‘New Boyfriend.’”

It sounds like Courteney should just focus on spending time with Coco and less effort folding the men in her life into her daughter’s!
