The brand new model competition will give contestants the opportunity to be coached, one-on-one, by some of the best supermodels in the industry for the chance to become the face of a national brand. WATCH an exclusive clip of the show and read on to find out how you can chat with the judges!

If you can’t wait to see model coaches Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha on The Face than you’ll love this exclusive sneak peek! The show, which is premiering on Oxygen on Feb. 12 at 9 PM, will be hosted by former America’s Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker. Contestants will participate in a slew of challenges all while being coached by the talented women for the chance to become the face of a national brand.

Prior to the highly-anticipated premiere, you can get another sneak peek of The Face, (and a chance to chat with the judges themselves!), in a Google+ Hangout on Feb. 6 at 8PM. Whether you prefer Mad Men, Gossip Girls, Twilight vamps or a certain “Hollaback Girl,” there was a chance for everyone to step out and see some of their favorite stars Sept. 10 during Fashion’s Night Out!

Models At The Met Ball!

Along with the slew of actresses’ who stepped out, there were also a ton of models!

The Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 3 was full of gorg gals, including a slew of supermodels! After all, who looks better in couture than new mom Gisele, Coco Rocha, Doutzen Kroes, Hilary Rhoda, Amber Valletta, Hilary Rhoda, Alessandra Ambrosio, Bar Refaeli, and Karolina Kurkova? While Alessandra looked sexy in cut-outs, and Gisele had another opportunity to show off her insane post-baby body in an edgy Alexander Wang frock, I was really blown away by Coco’s mermaid-esque gown, by Zac Posen. Doutzen also stood out, in her full princess Zac Posen gown.

Skinny Models Out, Victoria's Secret Angels & Coco Rocha In At Designer Giles Deacon's Show!

Get ready to see these healthier looking girls on the runway…AGAIN!

We’re so glad designers are finally getting the message! After Prada ditched their pin thin models for Victoria’s Secret Angels for their show during Milan Fashion Week, designer Giles Deacon has enlisted VS Angels Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Alessandra Ambrosio, Izabel Goulart, and Karolina Kurkova, along with models Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, and Natasha Poly to walk in his show during Paris Fashion Week today, March 3!

Coco Rocha, who is very vocal about the weight debate in the fashion industry, came forward in 2008 and admitted that people had told her she needed to loose more weight — at the time, she was 5’10 and weighed in at 108 pounds! While long-legged, skinny models seem to go hand-in-hand with the fashion industry, sometimes enough is enough! If designers want real women to wear their clothes, their models shouldn’t look like malnourished children. While top models like Coco, Jessica, and the Angels still have thin frames that are only slightly bigger than some of the smallest models, hopefully this is a step in the right direction. We’re so glad Giles Deacon decided to follow the trend from the Prada show and we can only hope that more designers will do the same!

Runway Models Vs. Real Sized Celebs — Which Do YOU Prefer?

Do YOU like size zero models? Do YOU think that women look good when clothes hang on their skinny bodies just like they’re clothes hangers? Last fall controversy erupted over the bird-size frames of the skinnier-than-ever models on the runways of NYC’s Fashion Week.

And after skeletal 88 lb. Brazilian model Ana Carolina Reston , 21, died in 2006 after appearing to suffer from anorexia, there were loud demands for a minimum weight/size requirement. But despite the huge controversy over the super skinny size zero models, it looks like this Mercedes Benz New York Fall Fashion Week is bringing out the same teeny tiny frames.

This season, 21 year- old top model model Coco Rocha told The New York Times that she’s “not in demand anymore ” at several Fashion Week shows because, at a size four, she is considered too big! The New York Daily News quotes Steven Kolb, executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, as saying, ”Fashion shows are fantasy … and to be a model you have to be thin to begin with. There are healthy models that genetically have thin body structures. So [thin models] will always be on the runway.” However, strangely designers samples which used to be size four, are now size zero!

Ok … but do they have to be SO thin? Not really! As a matter of fact we saw plenty of celebrities on the runway who look healthy and happy! It’s so refreshing to see figures like curvy Kim Kardashian‘s walk a runway in a gorgeous gown, mom- of-four Heidi Klum step out just months after giving birth or Olympic athlete Dara Torres rock a frock!
