Sure there have been plenty of dysfunctional family comedies on TV, but this one is so over-the-top and hilarious that it’s our new favorite show!

Take the dark humor of Little Miss Sunshine pair it with the dysfunctional family of Married With Children and you have Raising Hope, a new sitcom on FOX from My Name Is Earl creator, Greg Garcia. Here’s 5 reasons why this new fall show is must-see TV!Raising Hope tells the story of Jimmy Chance (Lucas Neff), who unknowingly sleeps with a murderer and then finds out she is pregnant with his baby while in jail and subsequently watches her execution with his little daughter, Princess Beyonce aka Hope, on his lap. A lot to take in, I know. The funniest part of the plot is that Jimmy, who at 23 still lives at home with his wed-too-young parents, ends up raising Hope with his white trash family who include mom Virginia (Martha Plimpton), dad Burt (Garrett Dillahunt) and Maw Maw (Cloris Leachman). The comedy is as bizarre as it sounds, but that is what makes it the must-see baby show of the season!

Here’s our top 5 reasons to watch Raising Hope:

1. Cloris Leachman is hysterical and absurd as Maw Maw, who thinks her grandson is her dead husband, and acts accordingly.

2. Martha Plimpton and Garrett Dillahunt as Jimmy’s parents are comedic geniuses. Let’s just say we know why Jimmy grew up to be the perpetual dope that he is.

3. Watching a family who use a shopping cart as a barbecue grill trying to raise a baby named Princess Beyonce is pretty funny.

4. Flashbacks to the 15-year-old versions of Virginia and Burt raising Jimmy mirror their son’s current situation — and make you feel better about your own missteps as a parent. At least you never forgot to actually strap in the car seat, right?

5. The most precious baby can bring a zany family together — and that will either make you roll your eyes, burst out laughing or shed a little tear.

The great Dancing with the Stars debate is who’s getting who? HollywoodLife.com has learned of THREE potential new couples!

Guess what, BFFs? Bristol Palin has a serious shot at winning Dancing with the Stars this season! Why? Because we’ve learned exclusively that she has two-time champ Mark Ballas as her dance partner – and ABC confirms our report!

“Producers want to pair Mark with someone that will get her votes in case there’s a backlash,” a show insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. Meaning: there may be more Americans  aside from ex-fiance Levi Johnston that don’t want to rock the vote for the single teenage mom!

But there’s more! The insider tells us that Mark’s dad,  Corky Ballas, is returning to the show to partner Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson! The 49-year-old professional dancer previously strutted his stuff on the DWTS stage with Cloris Leachman on the show’s seventh season.

The insider also tells us that certain pairings are in flux because they’re still trying to get Polish dancer Edyta Śliwińska to return to the show; she just confirmed she was quitting Dancing with the Stars after five years on her Twitter account, writing, “I decided it’s time to move on with my life, pursue other projects and finish school. By the way my major is media and communication not dance as TMZ quoted. TMZ terribly misquoted and misinterpreted everything I said. But the truth is that I’m moving on.” If Edtya, 29, DOES return, she’ll be partnered with former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff.

And although Tony Dovolani expressed an interest in partnering up with Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey, we hear Brandy Norwood is in talks to be his other half on season 11 of the hit ABC show. Regardless, our insider tells us that that the 37-year-old pro is “getting somebody good this year to make up for [his awful season 10 partner] Kate Gosselin!“
