He didn’t win ‘The X Factor’, but he is a winner to us! Listen to his new single ‘Young Homie’! We love it!
Chris Rene, 29, quickly became a fan favorite on The X Factor when he debuted his original song, “Young Homie,” during auditions week. Epic Records released a studio version of the phat track on March 13 on iTunes from his forthcoming debut album, and it’s hot!
Chris, you’re on our list of Sexiest Daddy’s of 2011! Yowza!
He’s one hot papa! X Factor‘s Chris Rene tweeted an adorable, swoon-worthy pic of him with his super cute son Ryan. “Freshining Up the Boyz hair photo” he wrote. The crooner won runner-up in the reality show competition, but he’s still number one to us!
Did the finalists have themselves a merry little Christmas, or did they go all out with a celebratory bash? Get the details here!
Anyone who watched the first season of The X Factor knows it’s been a stressful couple of months for winner Melanie Amaro, and runners-up Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene. That’s why HollywoodLife.com is happy to report that all three finalists “spent the Christmas holiday with family at their respective homes.”
HollywoodLife.com got the scoop on Josh & Chris’ future straight from Simon himself!
Melanie Amaro may have won The X Factor‘s $5 million grand prize, but that doesn’t mean fellow finalists Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene will walk away from the competition empty handed. HollywoodLife.com caught up with head honcho Simon Cowell after the Dec. 22 finale, and he admitted he’s already eyeing both guys for record contracts.
I’m thrilled for Melanie Amaro, but will Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene fall off the map after losing on ‘The X Factor’?
Adam Lambert, Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson: it’s happened before on American Idol. The second and even third place (and lower) contestants end up outdoing the original winner — so will this happen with The X Factor‘s Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik?
After a finale to top all finales, the first ever USA ‘X Factor’ winner was announced. Are YOU happy with who we chose?
The X Factor finale started off on an exciting foot with the top 12 contestants singing Lady Gaga‘s “The Edge of Glory,” which was bittersweet seeing Rachel Crow and Astro, who were kicked off possibly too soon. Up next, we saw holidays tunes by the top three — Melanie Amaro, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene — which were lovely, but ultimately, we wanted to see who was the winner of the $5 million recording contract!
All three ‘X Factor’ finalists deserve to have big singing careers and God willing, they will. But here’s why Josh Krajcik deserves THE $5 million contract!
Josh Krajcik is anything but gorgeous and he won’t be rolling out any dance party hits, BUT here’s why HE should win – you can listen to his big, powerful, raspy voice ALL day and ALL night long.
The final three botched their duets with celebrity superstars, but soared with their solos. Which one got YOUR vote?
We had a rocky start to tonight’s final The X Factor performances. The first songs, which were supposed to be exciting and touching duets with famous artists, were totally awkward, poorly executed messes — leaving us scratching our heads and feeling disappointed in the final three. However, Josh Krajcik, Melanie Amaro and Chris Rene all made up for their lackluster starts with INCREDIBLE second performances. In fact, I’m still sitting here with chills — completely conflicted about who should be deemed the $5 million winner.
I think the three contestants in ‘The X Factor’ finals are the ones who deserve to be there, don’t you?
Congratulations, America! We finally did something right. How often do you watch reality competitions on TV and are completely devastated by who wins? This time around on The X Factor, I think we chose perfectly.
It’s been a fight to the finish! Are you happy with the final three singers on ‘The X Factor’?
After weeks of really intense eliminations on The X Factor, tonight’s semi-final cut didn’t seem too harsh to us. Of course it was sad to say goodbye to yet another contestant, but we’re ready for the finals next week!
Watch Chris’ emotional performance here & find out what he told HollywoodLife.com backstage!
The X Factor is famous for delivering emotional moments, and the FOX reality phenomenon added one more to its list Dec. 14 when finalist Chris Rene dedicated his performance of “No One” to his late father, Rafael Rene. “I think he was in the crowd,” Chris, 28, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively after the taping.
It’s down to the semi-finals and I think it’s pretty obvious who will be eliminated before the final three!
After last week’s emotional and shocking elimination, it seemed like there was a big weight lifted off everyone’s shoulders tonight on The X Factor. With all the kids eliminated, the adults came out to play — and I think Marcus Canty will be the one left behind tomorrow, as Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro and Josh Krajcik all brought their A-games.
I thought I had my favorites figured out, but now I think rapper/singer Chris Rene might be the dark horse of the competition!
What a night on The X Factor! After last week’s abysmal Michael Jackson night, the final five performers needed to redeem themselves, and they did just that. The first half of the show consisted of “dance hits,” which were hit and miss, but the second half was a plot twist — the singers had only 24 hours to pick a song of their choosing to perform the following night — and honestly, they all shined. Sadly, Rachel Crow didn’t thrill me as much as usual — I predict she’ll be in the bottom. However, Josh Krajcik, Melanie Amaro and Chris Rene are all strong contenders for first place, in my book.
