This story is just too good to be true. Who knew Kate Middleton and I shared a Cheryl Cole girl crush? While we’re used to seeing The Duchess don demure dresses from the likes of Issa, Reiss, Zara, Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, there’s one look Kate’s very fond of — but I wouldn’t count on her breaking it out for a public appearance. On the night of her hen do, (bachelorette party), Kate suited up in Cheryl’s infamous, (and revealing!), soldier costume that she first wore while performing ‘Fight For This Love’ on the UK X Factor back in ’09 — and she even performed the entire dance perfectly!

In Cheryl’s new autobiography she shares her encounter with the Royals after she performed at the Queen’s Jubilee concert. “The party in Buckingham Palace afterwards was incredible. Just when I was thinking the day couldn’t get any more incredible, Prince William and Kate came over for a chat,” she said. “‘Did you know you’ve got a bit of competition’ Wills said with a cheeky look in his eye. ‘From who?’ Wills looked at Kate and they both started laughing before Kate confessed that she dressed up as me on her hen night, in a body suit and split trousers and sang ‘Fight For This Love’. She even learned the dance routine and was step perfect by all accounts, as her sister Pippa and brother James also came over and told me all about it. ‘Well, I’m very flattered!’ I said. I could just imagine her and it was so surreal.”

We’ve heard of pop princesses, but never a pop Duchess! Kate Middleton certainly sounds like a good time to us, (as if we didn’t already wish we could hang with her). Imagine the Duchess on a karaoke stage after throwing back a few shots?

Now that’s what we want to see.

Cheryl Cole’s autobiography

It’s a good old fashion black and white face-off between Zooey Deschanel and Cheryl Cole, as the two were seen in the exact same Moschino dress!  While we think both ladies look great in the two-toned dress, who do you think wore it the best?

Zooey was first seen in the dress featuring a rather noticable oversized ruffled collar and ruffled detailing at the waist from the Moschino Fall 2011 collection back in August at the LA premiere of Our Idiot Brother.  The actress paired the interesting design with black suede YSL pumps and a black clutch, and completed her look with a cute, purposely messy, side bun.

Cheryl was spotted in the dress while attending Shrek the Musical in London.  The singer completed her ensemble with Giuseppe Zanotti toe-cap pumps and a sleek up-do.  She opted for bright pink lips to add a touch of color to her black and white get-up.

Both Zooey and Cherly look amazing sophisticated dress — but there’s something about Zooey that makes the dress look so much more charming. Who do you think wore the Moschino dress best?

She’s not just an actress. K-Stew is becoming a style icon as well.

Kristen Stewart usually dresses way down when she’s off-camera, but it’s her stand-out red carpet looks that caught the attention of Glamour UK and earned her the #3 spot on their list of best dressed women in 2011.

The star often opts for converse sneakers and a flannel button-up when she’s out and about with boyfriend Robert Pattinson, but she knows how to make a statement when the red carpet calls. This past year we’ve seen Kristen step out in some amazing gowns including the printed red Proenza Schouler number at the 2011 Met ball on May 2, or her leggy gold Reem Acra mini from the Peoples Choice Awards on Jan. 5.

In case you’re curious, the two that managed to beat out K-Stew are Cheryl Cole in second place and Emma Watson in first. Other notable celebs that are low on the list include Blake Lively at #8, Victoria Beckham at #15, and Kim Kardashian at #29.

Fellow Twilighter Ashley Greene made the #12 spot, even though her style staples are blue jeans and grey hoodies.

Simon Cowell has revealed he wants Paula Abdul to be a judge on his upcoming show The X Factor!

Simon, 51, says Paula, 48, has been in consideration the whole time he’s developed the talent competition, Deadline reports exclusively.

“”I’ve always wanted Paula,” Simon says. “Always been very vocal about that. I missed her the second she left the show. Always loved working with her even though she can be a pain. And I’ve been consistent about this. I don’t know what it is about her, but I’ve always clicked with her. You just have to get that chemistry, and she’s right. I’ve never found anyone better than her. I think there’s a good chance it will be her. We’ve agreed that we would meet as many people as possible, and now we’re reaching the deadline we’ve got to make the decision soon. But I think she’s got a really good shot.”

Justin Bieber looked very pleased with himself after taking home a Brit Award for Best International Breakthrough Act after missing out on a Grammy just days before! He seemed genuinely surprised as he accepted his latest trophy — ‘’Thank you. I don’t know really what to say, I want to thank all my fans over here… You guys are amazing.’’

Later on, Justin spoke to the Daily Mail, revealing he has a crush on British singer Cheryl Cole — and the red-hot Rihanna.

“I still think Cheryl’s hot,” he said. And then after a brief pause, “Oh, and Rihanna!”

In fact, Justin’s not shy about approaching his dream girls. He stole a kiss from Cheryl on his way up to collect his award at the London ceremony.

And Justin says he wouldn’t rely on pickup  lines if he gets another chance to chat up his favorite beauties — he would just “be himself.” Glad to hear that, Justin!

But the Beibs dropped a bombshell when he asked how he thinks his huge fan base will react when he eventually finds “the one”  – and leaves millions of girls heartbroken.

“I don’t know, I mean, I don’t think it’s really anyone’s business what my private life is, and so, some things you just have to keep to yourself.”

Sounds like Justin is keen to keep his blossoming romance with Selena Gomez private — although Bielbers can’t help but notice how he gushes about her!

The red carpet beauties looked stunning in their little black Versace dress, but who wore it better?

Cheryl Cole let down her hair at the National Television Awards in London, Jan. 26, where she donned the same Versace dress as Mad Men star and face of Versace January Jones from three months before. The British pop star was looking great in the fabulous backless dress and sparkling dangling earrings. Cheryl really brought the dress alive, pairing it with bright red Christina Louboutin satin heels and a glossy red pout.

January Jones went for a more classic route with a huge ballerina bun, minimal jewelry, nude lips and commanding cat eyes at the Central Saint Martins Fashion Fund launch party in London, Nov. 11. While both women looked spectacular, in this case less is more. January just looked picture perfect!
