The future Queen wants to use her role to help others, and make charity work her full-time job!

She’s still figuring out what causes she’ll be working for, but Kate Middleton has already made one important commitment — The Duchess of Cambridge will accompany her husband Prince William this month when the couple open a brand new children’s cancer center in London. It’s a cause that’s always been close to William and his mom Princess Diana‘s hearts! Can Kate live up to her late mom-in-law?“The Duchess is using the next few months to get to get to know a number of charitable and other causes better, so she can make well informed decisions about her future role,” A royal spokesperson reveals.

William and Kate will open the new unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital on Sept. 29 — five months to the day since their spectacular royal wedding.

William is the hospital’s president, a role his late mom also held!

The royal couple will be given a tour of the new center and get the chance to meet staff and patients, before unveiling a plaque to officially open the new complex.

No doubt Kate will pose for some moving Diana-esque photo opportunities!

Generous Madonna will also use her fortune to support other struggling orphanages in the country, the birthplace of her adopted children David and Mercy! Wow — way to go Madonna!Madonna, 52, reveals her plans in a new TV documentary, American Revolutionaries: The Hitmakers. She says, “My short term goals are to build an orphan care center that will service and reach at least 1,000 children and I’m also actively involved in funding several orphanages that already exist.”

Madonna adopted David, 5, from a Malawian orphanage in 2006 and returned for 6-year-old Mercy in 2009. And it’s great to see she’s still committed to helping kids in their homeland.

The royal bride has signed up to be patron of a charity that grants wishes for seriously ill kids.

It looks like Kate Middleton is already following in the charitable footsteps of Princess Diana!

“Any charity would be delighted to have her support,” Starlight Children’s Foundation spokesman Henry Breakwell says,.“She and Prince William have both been great supporters in the past and attended fundraising events.”

Prince William has already granted one wish for Starlight, entertaining a six-year-old girl suffering heart disease.

And Kate’s promising to sprinkle a little royal stardust on wannabe princes and princesses.

It’s great to see her emulating Diana so soon after marrying into the royal family. The late Princess of Wales was famously nicknamed the “people’s princess” because of her tireless charity work –  and she’s a great role model for Kate to follow.

After leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dina has been keeping busy as the President and Founder of Project Ladybug, her charity that enriches the lives of children with life threatening conditions. This philanthropist and fashionista is also a full time mom — her daughter Lexi is 14. We thought we knew everything about this Jersey girl, but we were wrong!

Madonna’s youngest daughter Merci is bugging her famous mommy to bring home another baby!

Woah – Is Mama Madge looking to add another adopted baby to her family? Hey HollyMoms, we hear that Madonna has plans to travel Malawi –  where she has already adopted two children David Banda, 8, and Mercy, 5 — just before Christmas. Reports suggest that her youngest daughter Mercy has been asking the superstar mommy for a little brother or sister. That would make five kids total for Madonna, who also has two biological children — Lourdes Leon, 14 and Rocco Ritchie — from previous relationships! Do you think Madonna can handle that many kids?

“When she adopted David she promised his dad she’d stay in touch and visit often,” a source tells the Mirror. But, “while Mercy Grace is pleading for another little brother or sister, Madge is not sure she’s quite ready but she’s kept the door open and been in touch with the orphanage.”

Madonna does have other obligations to take care of when she travels to the African country this year. “She has big plans to raise money, including a possible charity concert next year.” A source confirms that Madonna doesn’t just go there to adopt babies, she actually works hard to help those less fortunate in any way  she can. “Madonna likes nothing more than rolling up her sleeves and shoving her paws down a blocked well,” adds the source. “She likes to do her bit.”

An inside source in the know says he’s not really designing the polish (and, NO, he doesn’t wear any) but it’s all for a great cause!

You’ve heard all the news about Justin Bieber’s new nail polish line, that’s the singer has designed nail polish hues named after some of his biggest hits? But has Justin really designed a whole collection of nail polishes? A source says baby, baby, baby NO.

Our reporter Jessica recently talked to a source close to the Bieber camp, who commented on the nail polishes. “Justin isn’t designing nail polish. Pencils for Promise is an initiative that plans to build over one hundred schools in the next year. The owner (of beauty brand Nicole) teamed up with the Biebs and asked the FANS to design nail polish inspired by Justin. So all the money goes to help kids, and that’s great because it helps with the initiative. He is also sending a part of his proceeds from the second leg of his tour to go to the charity and help it build one hundred schools.”

What about those rumors that the teen heartthrob is using the nail polishes? “Justin doesn’t use nail polish. The dude (Bieber) doesn’t wear nail polish and he doesn’t sit in his room making colors. He doesn’t wear nail polish!”

October is national breast cancer awareness month, but some American schools aren’t thinking pink — instead they’re seeing red over a bunch of risque rubber bracelets.

Breast cancer is no laughing matter. But that doesn’t mean that you always have to be super-serious when it comes to raising awareness. At least, that’s what the Keep A Breast Foundation thought, when they launched their ‘I [heart] boobies” campaign. The California based nonprofit organization managed to sell two million of the colorful $4 bracelets, and even celebrities like Madonna‘s daughter Lourdes Leon are fans of the bands. Now, school officials in some states have banned the bracelets from their classrooms.

So what’s the big deal about these bracelets? According to the Associated Press, administrators aren’t happy about the wording. They consider the word “boobies” to be inappropriate and don’t support that kind of language being used in their schools. Ironically, the money raised from the bands is going toward breast cancer research as well as education programs.

According to the Keep A Breast Foundation‘s marketing manager, Kimmy McAtee, breast cancer kills almost 40,000 women and 400 men every year in  the U.S. With those figures in mind, McAtee says if the bracelets make more people aware of breast cancer, then they can’t be that bad. “A lot of kids don’t want to do pink ribbons,” she says. “These bracelets are a conversation starter that I think the pink ribbons don’t have in a younger demographic. Keep A Breast really feels that ‘boobies’ is not a four-letter word. We’re using a word that’s not scary.”
