The Nickelback frontman and new fiance were spotted out and about in Paris, and the Abbey Dawn fashion designer was sporting what looks like a tiny baby bump. Look at this photograph — do YOU think Avril is preggers?

Things might start to get a bit more complicated with Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. The newly-engaged couple spent the afternoon shopping and eating lunch in Paris on Sept. 14, while Avril seemed to be carrying something other than shopping bags.

Wearing a black hoodie and baggy black pants, the singer and fashion designer appeared to be hiding a tiny baby bump. Could she be pregnant with Chad’s baby?

After her Abbey Dawn fashion show in New York on Sept. 10, the Sk8er Boi singer avoided the subject. When asked by Buzz if she was pregnant, Avril laughed and asked, “Are you?” before she rushed off.

That would explain why the couple got engaged after secretly dating for six months.

The couple reportedly started dating in February, and after a whirlwind romance, announced their engagement at the end of August. Now that Avril is more than Chad’s girlfriend, she has finally met his mom.

“You never know what your parents are going to say when you tell them you’re getting married – especially when it’s with someone they haven’t met yet!” the Nickelback frontman said. “My mom is a huge fan of Avril’s, so putting her on the speakerphone and telling her the news was hilarious and equally embarrassing.”

Avril’s rep has denied the pregnancy rumors, according to EOnline. What a shame. We’re all hoping that someday Chad and Avril will expand their family — there’s no doubt that little baby will be a rockstar.

Avril Lavigne and Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger are engaged, after a six-month courtship that was kept so quiet, hardly anyone even knew about it!

People Magazine reports that Avril, 27, and Chad, 37, first met in February when the two co-wrote a song for Avril’s upcoming album. A friend of Avril’s tells the magazine, “A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together.”

Chad proposed on Aug. 8 with a 14-carat diamond sparkler. This will be Chad’s first marriage, while it will be Avril’s second. She divorced Sum 41 lead singer Deryck Whibley in 2009. She has also previously dated Brody Jenner.

On Monday, September 10th Avril will be debuting her Abbey Dawn Spring 2013 Collection during New York Fashion Week at Style360.
