A remake of the popular Swedish film and novel, Finke reports that “the studio is waiting for an answer from Brad Pitt,” while Kristen is one of roughly ten actresses being considered for the female lead. Parents splitting up is hard enough on a child — why is Halle Barry’s ex Gabriel trying to start a battle over custody of Nahla?

According to RadarOnline.com, Gabriel is upset with all the media attention on him and their 2-year-old baby Nahla, that “he is even considering lawyering up and launching a custody battle, with the sole aim of taking [Nahla] to Canada to live away from the Hollywood spotlight.”

Don’t do it, Gabriel! Even you are upset at Halle for stirring up media attention, as RadarOnline is saying, you agreed to share custody of your daughter 50/50 — and you should stick to it!

“Aubrey has been concerned with the media attention that has been stirred since the news of their breakup became public,” the site reports. Plus, he is “also unhappy with the stories he believes are being generated from Halle’s camp, where he has been painted as a man unable to support his child, and as someone that was unable to ‘pull their weight’ in the relationship – something, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com, is far from the truth.”

That doesn’t seem like a good enough reason to launch a custody battle and try to take Halle’s baby away from her to Canada!

Congrats to Sandra Bullock! Finally some happy news! She secretly adopted a new baby boy in January … AND she’s FINALLY divorcing her cheating hubby!

Sandra Bullock, 45 reveals her “joyful secret” to People magazine today and it’s quite a shock! In January, Sandra adopted a baby boy named Louis, named after Louis Armstrong.

Sandra adopted Louis Bardo Bullock, a now 3½-month-old boy who was born in New Orleans, with her husband Jesse James, 41, in January. People magazine reveals they “began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January, but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. Their close friends and family – including James’s children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 – were essential in keeping the adoption a secret.”

But plans changed when news broke that Jesse was cheating on her — Sandra is now moving forward with the adoption as a single mother — AND she is filing for divorce from Jesse!

“I really don’t now how our paths will intersect in the future,” Sandra told People of Jesse. “But the father I have known Jesse to be is one that I hope Louis can experience on e day, no matter how Jesse and I go on with our lives.”

Jesse confessed, “I know in my heart that I can be the best father possible to my four children and the mate Sandy deserves, and realize that this is an incredible mountain to climb. But I believe the steps I have taken in the last 30 days are the foundation to making this happen.”

Jesse’s daughter Sunny gave Sandra the idea to adopt: “One day Sunny proclaimed to me that we shouldn’t have another baby, that we should adopt … because there are so many little babies that have no home, and we can share our things with them.”

Why she chose to adopt a baby from New Orleans: “New Orleans for both of us was a place that we loved, a place that had a lot of history for the both of us and a place I couldn’t let go of.”

What it was like to meet baby Louis for the first time: “It was like the whole outside world just got quiet. He was so small, so still … All I said when I met him was, ‘Oh, there you are.’ It was like he had always been a part of our lives.”

How Sandra picked his name: “It was one of the first names that came to mind. Louis Armstrong’s song ‘What A Wonderful World’ kept playing in my head when I looked at him, so Louis just seemed to stick.”

On how difficult it was to keep the adoption a secret: “I was being followed every day during awards season, so anything we did with Louis had to be pre-planned … like a CIA mission.”

She had no idea about Jesse’s infidelity: “I had no idea about anything until that day when I got the call. All I remember is thinking ‘I need to get Louis out of here before the vultures descend.’”

Sandra talks about filing for divorce: “I have filed for divorce. I don’t know what else to say. I’m sad and I am scared.”

Sandra wants to remain in Jesse’s children’s lives: “Jesse and I both know these kids are all that matter. In the healthiest way, we are going to be co-parenting. I know my role is not one that exists on paper, but Louis is their brother.”

The most surprising thing about being a new mommy: “I really only need three hours of sleep. I have learned that a little person screaming at the top of his lungs can mean six things: ‘I am hungry, I am wet, I am tired, I am uncomfortable, I am in pain, or I have gas.’ And I will figure out which one it is and fix it.”

What she has learned about herself: “To say I am changed is an understatement. But that might not be a bad thing. I have learned a lot about what I am and what I am not. But the most important thing to me was to protect and know my truth.”

Everyone wants Sandra to dump Jesse NOW! But she has a good reason for proceeding with caution … she’s worried about how a split will affect Jesse’s kids.

Despite the urging of her close friends and family (not to mention us here at HollywoodLife.com!), Sandra Bullock is not going ready to divorce Jesse James just yet.

Sandra “refuses to budge or give into people who say she should divorce him immediately,” a source tells Fox411.com. The biggest reason she isn’t rushing? “The stress of knowing his three children will be hurt no matter what happens. The kids are what is holding her back from filing the divorce immediately,” said the source.

Jesse is close with Jesse’s two daughters Sunny, 6, and Chandler, 15, as well as his son, Jesse Jr., 12. They’ve all reportedly been living with Sandra while Jesse is in rehab, too! “It’s been tough and she wants to find a balance for them,” the insider says. “They deserve some stability.”

Of course Sandra is heartbroken and the source assures Fox411.com, “They will divorce.” But, as we told you earlier,  “She is trying to pick her way through the mess” first.

“Jesse and his children are her family and in some ways always will be. She is not ready to scrap it all as fast as possible,” the source insists. “She’s taken some time off and plans to stay out of the spotlight.” —Corynne Steindler

Megan Fox is going to be Robert Rodriguez’s next muse! The will star in his remake of the 1985 film Red Sonja, according to the London Sun. Red Sonja was a scantily-clad, sword-wielding character in the comic book series Conan The Barbarian — which is also being made into a separate, unrelated movie.

Rodriguez has been planning to remake the 1985 original, starring Brigitte Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger, for awhile — and he even wanted to cast his ex-fianceé, Rose McGowan, in the part. But Rob and Rose are over, and she actually took a role in the new Conan The Barbarian remake, so Megan is the next sultry, raven-haired beauty in line!

The director says that financial struggles on the production side is causing delays.  “If I kept the project myself, we could’ve just made it,” Robert confesses. “But it belonged to another company that had financing problems.”

Hopefully the problems are behind them, because we’d really love to see Megan try her hand at an action role. After all, it worked for Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider! —Corynne Steindler

Katy Perry and Russell Brand aren’t married yet — but they still have a lot to celebrate. The engaged couple threw an Easter Sunday backyard BBQ bash for family and friends at their home in L.A.

People magazine reports, “There was an Easter bunny to entertain the kids and guests were wearing bunny ears.” And Katy wore the bunny ears herself, too!

Katy’s parents attended, along with Brand’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall co-star Jonah Hill. Apparently, Easter brings out the romantic side of the duo. “They kept kissing and were super affectionate,” says the magazine.

The songstress sure seems like she loves Easter! “If every day could be filled with pastels, bunnies, baby chicks & chocolate filled eggs I would b happy,” she Tweeted on Saturday.
