The reality star actually looks like a classic Hollywood tv star: Stephanie Powers!

Someone just sent over this photo of Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and one thing is for certain: she looks amazing! Gone is the massive bump and the overdone makeup in exchange for beautifully silky hair, a gorgeous smoky eye and a pretty pink lip! She looks great, doesn’t she?

EIC Bonnie Fuller and I were talking about Snooki’s adorable “make-under” and we both agree: she looks like classic tv star Stephanie Powers from her early career as the girl on the classic spy drama, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.  Will Snooki’s gorgeous new look land her scripted roles? More sponsorship deals? It couldn’t hurt. This look is – at least in my opinion – way more bankable and lovely than her previous one. I think she looks great!

Snooki was hitting the sack in support of P.J. Salvage’s First Annual National Sleep-in Day donation to Pajama Program.

Last weekend’s Golden Globes has some seriously gorgeous makeup looks on the red carpet and, while they looked amazing on camera and in pictures, you want them to work for you! Well, watch as we show you how to translate some of the Golden Globes’ hottest makeup trends on our own Chloe Melas!

In order to show you how to get the look, I went straight to celebrity makeup artist Lori Hamlin, who was worked on countless magazine shoots, fashion shows and A-listers like Padma Lakshmi, Stella McCartney, and Nina Dobrev. Here are our top picks for the universally-flattering red carpet trends and Lori’s advice on how to get them:

Smoky eyes – The secret weapon look to creating come-hither eyes, this look can literally turn any look into a red carpet masterpiece. Here, Lori gives some great advice on how to get the look but with a softer, easier appeal.

Glowing cheeks - The red carpet was awash in glowing cheeks and cream blush is the best way to get the look. Go for a pretty pink if you’ve got a light complexion, a pretty rose for medium complexions and a beautiful peach will work on olive-to-dark complexions.

Glossy pink lips – The trend du jour for almost every red carpet, this is the one trend that will continue all the way through spring. Feel free to play with this trend – it might surprise you just how many variations of the color pink there are!

The new movie The Roommate is on its way to theaters and the stars of the movie arrived at its premiere looking  - of course – glam and gorgeous. Question is, which one of these Hollywood darlings deserves the Best Red Carpet Beauty Look? Read on and vote!

Avoid picking the wrong color with these five easy, sure-fire makeup steps!

Someone just sent this photo of Kourtney Kardashian over to me and, although she looks as beautiful as ever, one thing is really evident: she’s wearing the wrong color foundation. Yikes! Want to avoid this common makeup mistake? Read on!

This is not to pick on Kourtney at all, by the way. Everyone who wears makeup has made this mistake at one time or another and it can be particularly hard for women of color (see that weird grey cast to her skin? never a good look.) Here are five things you can do to make sure this never happens to you:

1. Never use the back of your hand to match makeup to your face. Your hand and your face get different levels of sun and environmental exposure so they will rarely ever match properly. Use the side of your jawline for a more accurate pick.
2. Apply multiple swatches of foundation to your jawline from light to dark so you can see the colors side by side.
3. Never rely on department store lighting to make your decision. Always step outside with a mirror so you can see how the color will look in natural daylight.
4. You’ll be able to tell which one looks best because it will literally disappear into your skin and the other swatches will be visible around it.
5. Never forget to change your foundation color with the seasons. Your skin is darker in the summer and lighter in the winter. You MUST change your foundation/tinted moisturizer color so make sure that they match!

What products were used to create the actress’ amazing red carpet look? Read on, beauty fans!

How amazing did Olivia Wilde look last night? That Marchesa dress, the fabulous new haircut, her makeup! How do you get the look? Read on for dish on her gorgeous style straight from the experts that created it, beauty fans!

Olivia’s makeup look was created by celebrity makeup artist Spencer Barnes, who says that her look was “ inspired by images she collected of what she refers to as ‘the French girl.’  I wanted her skin to be fresh and clean with eyes that extended outward.  Touches of rose gold and sheer pink-veiled lips completed her youthful coquette-ish look.” He used all NARS Cosmetics products to create her look are below in the Get The Look gallery.

Meanwhile, her gorgeous hairstyle by celebrity hairstylist Terry Millet, using a haircare industry favorite: Kérastase. Also inspired by the chic French vibe, he created the look this way:

1. Begin by applying Kérastase Volumactive Mousse & Care Kérastase Volumactive to wet hair prior to blowdrying to give texture and volume
2. From there, blow dry your hair with your hands, only using a round brush at the ends once your hair is almost dry for a clean, healthy, just-washed look

The star was caught with a little eye makeup situation last night! Read on to learn how you can avoid it!

You know, we all have beauty blunders now and then and it looks like poor Eva Longoria has fallen prey. The starlet was seen out and about with Entourage‘s Kevin Connolly with some rather large white stripes under her eyes. What happened? Read on!

So, this isn’t TOTALLY uncommon when you’re racing out of the makeup chair. Sometimes makeup artists put powder underneath the eyes to catch any falling eye makeup and just brush it away to correct any mistakes. Unfortunately, if you leave it behind and a camera flash catches it, it winds up looking like a dusty mess/makeup malfunction.

Let this be a lesson, folks: check your makeup before you leave the house/makeup chair!

I personally loved the actress’ soft and lovely hair and makeup from the red carpet. Do you agree?

I received photos of Angelina Jolie from last night’s premiere of her new movie The Tourist and I have to say that I really love her beauty look! Let’s break down her gorgeous, classic hair and makeup and see if you agree:

First of all, I should go on record as one of Angelina’s biggest fans and this beauty look is another note of perfection for the red carpet stunner. Her gorgeous cat-eye makeup is really sultry (a look she’s perfected over time,) and I live for these long lashes that wing out at the corners (a very come-hither trick that’s a total manslayer, trust me.) The pink lip gloss is also really pretty.

A quick note of advice: I would have probably used something to correct the incredible amount of shine at the T-zone before she left the makeup chair, though. Her face looks “shiny” rather than “glowing” which is a common mistake most of us make.

The hairstyle is also rather soft and pretty. It looks like her hairstylist (or she herself) twisted the sides of her hair and the crown and secured it for a half-up/half-down look with curls at the ends.
