While most stars opted for glam gowns, svelte star and mom of three, Julie Bowen, decided to switch things up when she suited up in a plunging pants Catherine Malandrino get-up at the SAG Awards on Jan. 30. While normally I wouldn’t be a fan of a pair of pants on a red carpet, her outfit was still dressed up, sexy, and chic.

On the red carpet, Julie said she was originally going to wear the get-up to the Emmys — and since then she’s been dying to break it out! She completed the look with a pair of Brian Atwood pumps. While I would still prefer to see the star in a gown, this pantsuit was perfect on the red carpet. What did you think of her look?

Hosted by Lucky magazine, the weekend-long event is full of clothing, shoes, jewelry, and bags from some of your favorite designers. Rather than lust over them in the latest issue of the magazine, you can scoop up the merchandise up to 70% off. This year, Hilary Duff will kick off the three-day shopping fest on Nov. 4.

While tickets for the VIP party on Thursday may be a little pricey ($185), you can go early Friday morning ($40), later in the day ($35), or on Sunday ($30) — and if you really can’t get enough, for $60 you can go on both Friday and Saturday.

Drew Barrymore looked totally gorgeous in her glam Catherine Malandrino gown at the LA Going the Distance premiere on Aug. 23, however, she wasn’t the only lady who looked lovely on the red carpet last night! Kate Beckinsale was white hot in a leather Versace resort 2011 mini and black pumps, while Stephanie Pratt wore a super short black get-up.

Kate and Drew were at the top of my best dressed list, although I thought Christina Applegate looked totally chic dressing up her baby bump on the red carpet, while Malin Akerman also looked perfectly put together in a floral form-fitting frock. Who did you think was best dressed last night?

The star went for two totally different looks but stuck to the same accessory!

Drew Barrymore is looking the best I’ve ever seen her lately! For the LA premiere of her latest flick, Going The Distance, on Aug. 24, the star opted for a gorgeous brocade Catherine Malandrino resort 2010 gown. Drew paired the glam get-up with a Samantha Willis ring and bracelet and the same exact Balmain belt and YSL Tribute Two pumps she wore to the London premiere! I thought the belt was an amazing addition to her look — it edgy and chic.

Just days earlier, for the London premiere on Aug. 19, Drew first paired the belt and pumps with an Alexander McQueen mini. While her dresses couldn’t be any more different, I think the bold belt complimented both looks. The star totally shows off how you can work an accessory in a variety of ways. Who wore Malandrino Resort better?

Beyonce was the first to step out sporting the Catherine Malandrino Resort 2010 dress to Billboard’s 4th Annual Women In Music event at The Pierre Hotel on Oct. 2, 2009 in NYC, where she worked the look with ivory Sergio Rossi peep-toes and super-straight hair. This look was a refreshing twist on the usually seriously sexy singer.

Almost a year later, America Ferrera opted for the same exact frock when she attended the 25th Annual Imagen Awards in LA on Aug. 15, where she paired her get-up with ruby red peep-toes. Considering she often wears black on the carpet, this was a refreshing burst of color.

Does K-Stew’s simple style of jeans and a t-shirt make her look too young, or should she totally keep her hip rock-n-roll edge?

A true designer is always up for a challenge and that’s exactly why Catherine Malandrino wants to give Twilight star Kristen Stewart, 20, a whole new style! Forget K-Stew’s endless love for plaid shirts and jeans — Catherine told Hollywoodlife.com June 9 at Elle‘s 2010 Women in Music Issue Event at the Highline Ballroom in NYC that she wants to “make her [look] a little more grown up and sophisticated!”

“I think I would try to [put] her more in a natural color to change from the full bright,” Catherine explained. “Something with naturals and blacks to [help her maintain that] rock-and-roll edge” that she likes.

Catherine’s overall style inspiration for Kristen would come from old-school Hollywood glamour. “For me, it’s looking to the past and thinking today and always having the future in mind,” Catherine said. “I love the glamorous and voluptuous aspect of [old movie stars]. I love a woman like Catherine Deneuve because for me she has a classic chic or Brigitte Bardot because she has the kooky fresh style. It depends on the season.”

Maybe once Catherine gives Kristen a grown-up glam makeover, Kristen can share her style tips with Miley Cyrus. That girl sure can use some help dressing a little more conservatively!

And Kate even buys her leggings at H&M too!

Kate Walsh, star of ABC’s Private Practice has a fashion obsession … cheap leggings! At the ECCO DOMANI Fashion Show on Feb. 15 in New York City, we asked her what item she could not live without and she admitted: “Right now, I would say leggings. I think the cheaper the better honestly. Although I do love Rachel Pally who makes a really soft pair that I have in a bunch of colors [I do] love American Apparel and H&M” too.

Kate’s recessionista love proved true as she even stopped by H&M on Feb. 15 to pick up a pair of their leggings, but had no luck. “I literally went to H&M today to try and get leggings, but they were sold out,” she told us.
