Don’t get my wrong, I love me a smokey eye — ahem Kim Kardashian – but don’t you think Pia Toscano and Taylor Momsen have gone a little overboard? Black eye makeup is supposed to give one a sexy, sultry look, but when using too much, you can go from glam to goth — fast! Pia and Taylor have really piled on the black eyeliner and eyeshadow. A smokey shadow look accentuates the eye by outlining it, but by applying so much black so high above and below the eye itself, you are actually making it look smaller instead.

Taylor, 18, seems to have fallen into the cliche Hollywood kid screwed up role, so seeing her rock these ragged raccoon eyes has not worried me too much. But now seeing the American Idol runner-up and America’s sweetheart, Pia, rock the animal eyes, I am officially concerned!

Please tell me this will remain an isolated incident Hollywood, and you have not been infected by the raccoon eye rabies!

Rumored lovers and former ‘American Idol’ contestants Casey Abrams & Haley Reinhart have decided to work on a album together! Would YOU listen to it — or better yet– would you purchase it?

When we watched American Idol this season, it was hard not to see the connection between Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams from week to week. No matter how much they deny it, there was a bond between the two — and it’s now going to turn into music. A friend close to Casey tells HollywoodLife.com he wants to start writing music and working with Haley on an album as soon as possible.

“He wants to work with Haley and they have decided that moving forward that will be the best way to start their careers, since they share the same musical tastes and influences,” our insider tells us exclusively. “They will have plenty of time to work on it during this summer’s tour, since they’ll be together pretty much every day.”

Casey, 20, told us himself  in early May he was hoping to collaborate with his fellow contestant and blues/jazz/soul singer, saying, “There is no hope for a romantic relationship … just a musical relationship.”

We don’t know about you, HollywoodLifers, but we are taking a page from Rebecca Black because, “We we so excited!”

Casey was shockingly kicked off ‘American Idol’ on April 28  – and he reveals to HollywoodLife.com how he’s carrying on now!

American Idol‘s Casey Abrams spoke with us exclusively at MTV’s The Seven and despite leaving the show, Casey couldn’t have been in better spirits. The 20-year-old singer, who suffered from intestinal issues on-and-off during the 10th season of Idol, finally puts the speculation into his love life to rest!

Casey told us there’s “no hope” for a relationship with Idol contestant Haley Reinhardt.

“We weren’t actually dating,” Casey tells us. “I miss her and still talk to her, and make sure she’s doing OK. There is no hope for a romantic relationship … just a musical relationship.”

Hmm, we wonder if that means she dumped him?

But Casey didn’t appear to be too let down, adding: “I’m completely single. I let love come to me.”

We love this guy and we’re sure we’ll hear more great things from him soon! Like maybe a relationship, too?

Last week fans of American Idol were stunned by the elimination of 22-year-old Pia Toscano. Many pegged her to go all the way, but after being booted from the Idol spotlight, HollywoodLifers have their eyes set on Scotty McCreery, 17, to win it all.

The southern cutie who has a the voice of a seasoned country star has become a fan favorite, especially among teen girls who have rushed the stage, let our ear piercing screams at the mere sight of him and has had more signs of support in the Idol audience than anyone can count.

If you saw this plot twist coming, please let me know and I’ll give you a mega prize. I’ll also start coming to you for psychic readings because the American Idol results show was OUT OF THIS WORLD March 24 — I don’t know who could have predicted it.

First we started off with the weirdest and most upsetting Bottom Three of the season: Thia Megia, Stefano Langone and [SHOCKER] Casey Abrams.

At first I was upset, but then I accepted the fact Thia, 15, would get the boot. However, I was mistaken. She was the first one safe. Seriously, people?? Who voted last night??

It was down to Casey and Stefano and in a shocker no one saw coming, Casey was voted off the island. However, before he could even make it half way through his “save me” song, Randy Jackson stopped him and told him the three judges had unanimously decided to use their one save of the season on him.

Casey’s reaction was priceless. First, he got white as a ghost (see photo 2). Then he kind of started to pass out…I was nervous for a second. I’ve never seen anyone so grateful in my life! The kid was speechless.

As shocked as I was about tonight’s results, I agreed with what Jennifer Lopez had to say. Casey, 19, hasn’t had a strong performance in two weeks. His growly voice has become gimmicky and — dare I say it — creepy. He needs to re-watch his first auditions and channel that energy. That’s the Casey we all know and love!

Regardless, I’m stoked the judges saved Casey and I love the producers are taking 11 Idols on tour! It’s actually the first Idol tour I’m looking forward to seeing in awhile!

It’s probably not fair to compare Naima to this week’s unfortunate YouTube sensation, but she’s had two less than desirable performances in a row. It’s time for her to say her goodbyes!

The Top 12 American Idol contestants sang songs from the years they were born March 16 and as usual, some soared above the competition, while others tanked. However, no one stuck out as being quite as weak as “exotic flower” Naima Adedapo.

The 26-year-old Illinois-native sang Tina Turner‘s “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” and failed to impress any of the judges — and most of the in-studio audience as well.

The normally super sweet Jennifer Lopez got honest with Naima, telling her she gave her a pass last week when she destroyed “Umbrella,” but Naima was pitchy this week too. Randy Jackson agreed, saying her “vocals were all over the place.”

You can tell how much Naima –who has a husband and two little kids at home — has worked to get to this point, so it was heart wrenching to see her so disappointed in herself.

Enough about the sad times though — there were six performances tonight that blew me out of the water.

1. Stefano Langone‘s cover of “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” was the highlight of the night for me. I finally understand why J. Lo has always sung his praises; now he’s a front runner now in my mind.

2. Pia Toscano sang Whitney Houston‘s “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” and killed it, per usual. We’re coming to expect nothing less from this 22-year-old beauty.

3. Scotty McCreery sang “Can I Trust You With My Heart,” which isn’t a song with which I’m familiar. Nevertheless, I can’t trust the 17-year-old country crooner with MY heart. He steals it every time he steps foot on that stage. His charisma and quiet confidence is refreshing.

4. James Durbin is no Adam Lambert, but I love the rocker vibe he brings to the show this season. His cover of Bon Jovi‘s “I’ll Be There For You” was a treat to witness in person. (And Kate Hudson was quite the fan. I watched her clap enthusiastically for James more than anyone else!)

5. Although Nirvana isn’t my cup of tea, Casey Abrams was definitely one of the strongest acts of the night (like always). Steven Tyler and Randy raved about the 19-year-old musical genius‘ performance, but J. Lo complained he wasn’t as pleasant as usual. I was on her level — but Casey still rocks my world.

6. Randy said it best: Lauren Alaina is back! Despite having the flu, my favorite little Georgia peach rose to the occasion with her “I’m The Only One” cover. Can she please sing Melissa Etheridge every week? Love it.

Side note: Not only was this the first live performance show of the season, but the Idols had quite the A-list crowd sitting in the audience watching them. Celebrities in house included Pat Sajak; Kate Hudson, her son, Ryder and BF Matthew Bellamy; Twilight‘s Nikki Reed; So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy and Marc Anthony.
