On Jan. 24 Kim Kardashian, 32, proudly posted a picture on her Instagram account of Cartier bracelets covering almost her entire forearm! The caption reads, “The Don strikes again!!! #SoLucky!!!!!!” implying that her baby-daddy and current boyfriend, 35-year-old Kanye West, purchased them all for her. We agree…she’s definitely lucky!

Kim dons five different yellow-gold Cartier styles. The newest addition is believed to be the Cartier Panthère Bracelet in yellow gold, embedded with diamonds. The jungle-themed bangle is accompanied by a yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet with diamonds that costs $9,400. Amid the pile of gold is also a Cartier Juste un Clou, which is a bangle that looks like a nail that was twisted around Kim’s delicate wrist. This bangle alone rings up to a whopping $34,650! Two other animal print bracelets, both from Cartier as well, are also thrown into the mix to top off the collection. Kanye is totally spoiling his reality star girlfriend, and we’re totally jealous.

This is not the first time this fashion goddess has been spotted dripping in Cartier. She often adds a two-toned Cartier Roadster watch to her outfits. It’s a classic look, so it’s no surprise that her sister has a similar watch in gold. It seems as though Kim retired the timeless piece for a little bit more bling. If Kanye’s buying…why not? As long as Kanye and Kim are together, Cartier definitely won’t have to worry about their sales.

Kate Hudson, 30, looked like a million bucks on the red carpet at The Screen Actors Guild Awards — wait, make that $1.75 million! That’s how much Kate wore in Cartier diamond jewelry to last night’s big ceremony, making her one of the priciest (and hottest) ladies of the evening. She already looked incredible in her white plunging back Emilio Pucci gown, but we guess it never hurts to add a little bling. Or in Kate’s case, a LOT of it!

Sean Penn, Anna Kendrick, and Quentin Tarantino were also there for the Palm Springs International Film Festival — and HollywoodLife.com was right there!

We followed the stars made their way to the afterparty held at the Parker Palm Springs hotel. It was an intimate affair and Sean Penn was the first to arrive. Sean spent a half hour chatting up Jason Reitman, director of the critically acclaimed film Up in the Air starring George Clooney, and his dad Ivan Reitman director of films like Ghostbusters, and Kindergarten Cop. Sources tell us Sean was ignoring every female in the room — he was later seen chatting up Jeremy Renner, the star of the 2009 film The Hurt Locker — in a “boys” corner where they drank and smoked. George’s Up in the Air co-star Anna Kendrick made the rounds, but quickly ended the night about an hour after her arrival.

Inglorious Bastards director, Quentin Tarantino received the Sonny Bono Visionary Award, named after the former Palm Springs mayor and husband to Cher. Quentin waltzed in with his award (that looked like a bong), and grabbed a drink before swiftly heading out.

The event, co-sponsored by Mercedes Benz and Cartier was a fantastic mix of Hollywood elite and the old-school Palm Springs landed gentry.

We heard you got engaged in India – how romantic!

There’s been a ton of speculation that Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry, his girlfriend of three months, over the holiday vacation, and a new report is adding fuel to the fire.

Although we reported that the British comedian, 34, popped the question over Christmas, a ‘pal’ is telling Us Weekly that Katy, 25, rang in the new year by accepting a diamond ring while the two vacationed in Jaipur, India.

We’ve reached out to both Katy and Russell’s reps but there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet. Still, here’s why it’s pretty likely these two might be engaged:

Russell checked out bling at Cartier in London on Dec. 11. After browsing through the ring section at the swanky store, the funnyman was even spotted trying a few sparklers on for size.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star has the seal of approval from Katy’s folks. He admitted to a British radio station that he was initially hesitant about meeting Katy’s preacher parents, but said everything went well and “it’s been quite good so far.”

Holy moly money! Russell reportedly forked over more than $3 million to buy a four-bedroom home in LA for him and his girl. Another sign of commitment — Russell is moving across the pond to be closer to Katy!

Forget London — Russell took Katy to a much more exotic (and much warmer) locale than London by surprising her with a trip to Jaipur, India at the end of December . “She told him how much she loved Indian culture while they were eating curry in England, so he surprised her,” a Katy insider tells Us. Some Christmas present, Russ. If you aren’t engaged, at least you’re dead-set on romancing your lady!
