Chloe Moretz may only be 15, but she is a star we always love to watch on the red carpet. The little fashionista graces the March cover of Teen Vogue magazine. With just a few movies under her cinched belt, the actress is blossoming into a star in her own right. The fresh-faced starlet kept it very real opening up about everything from her personal life to her taste of fashion and how she stays realistic AND relateable to her fans.

While most girls her age are getting drivers permits, this teenager is making best dressed lists! Chloe admits that she likes to stay comfortable and traditional. “Cashmere sweaters, jeans, nothing crazy. I want to be comfortable,” she says. Even though she has the cash to spend on high-priced duds, she admits that her mother totally wouldn’t have it! “I’m not running around in Givenchy or Louis Vuitton. My mom doesn’t let me buy expensive brands.”

We think it’s so great that her family keeps her grounded — and that she allows her to show off designer duds on the red carpet. Chloe admits to enjoying staying age appropriate when it comes to getting dressed, too! She knows that her fan base is young and she wants to keep it relatable. “My work [as a brand ambassador] with Aéropostale has been so fun for that reason—I love that a girl could see a paparazzi picture of me going to a movie and buy what I’m wearing,” she says.

Her upcoming thriller Carrie, will keep us all guessing what she could possibly wear to such a premiere. She admits to the challenge it was for getting that role. “When I was auditioning for Carrie, I was told, ‘Well, look, you’re too young, you’re too pretty, you’re too accomplished.’” With a career on the rise and evolving fashion, this young actress is definitely one to keep an eye out for in the future!

If you asked me yesterday to describe Chloë Moretz, I might use words like “cute” and “fun.” But today, after seeing the brand-new teaser trailer for Carrie, those flattering adjectives couldn’t be further from my thoughts. A remake of Stephen King‘s 1976 horror classic, Carrie is the terrifying tale of a seemingly quiet girl who gets pushed too far on prom night. Like, blood-and-death far.

Carrie also stars Julianne Moore as Carrie’s mom, and Judy Greer as Miss Desjardin, a teacher who takes an unfortunate liking to Carrie.

Chloe Moretz has some big shoes to fill! The 15-year-old Kick-Ass star was offered the lead in Stephen King’s remake of Carrie and she couldn’t be happier!

“Never been so happy in my life! Thank you Kim Pierce and thank u MGM for the chance of a lifetime i will never forget,” she tweeted.

In the film, Chloe will play Carrie White, a telekinetic teenager who turns prom night into a bloodbath after she’s humiliated by the popular kids. Naturally, there was fierce competition for the iconic role, including acting veteran Dakota Fanning.

“Selena Gomez was also considered for the role, but ultimately we went after Chloe,” an industry insider exclusively tells HollywoodLife.com. “We think she would be perfect for the role that made Sissy Spacek an international star!”

We’re totally with you on keeping our favorite shop-a-holics around forever, John. But darling, you should really know, the proper term is vintage.

Here’s the good news: John Corbett – who played Sarah Jessica Parker’s worker-man boyfriend Aidan Shaw on the iconic HBO series Sex and the City, thinks the ladies will keep filming until Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda are old and gray. The bad news? Well, we already know that. Aidan won’t be returning to SATC 2, 3, or 3000 (or so he says).

“I think [SATC] will go on and on until [the ladies] are old bag ladies, to say the least, they’ll be in wheelchairs!” John, 48, joked to HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the Writers Guild Awards in Los Angeles Feb. 20. He added, “But yeah, I’m absolutely sure it will happen!”

We know that when John refers to ‘old’, he’s talking about vintage Halston, Chanel or Louis Vuitton – Carrie and the girls would accept nothing less, right?

John added that rumors he would be coming back to act alongside SJP, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis, are just that, sadly: rumors. “No, no, I’ve heard rumors, but it’s just not happening,” he told us.

Ugh. HollyBummer if we ever heard one! We guess we’ll just have to settle for Mr. Big….
