Jack Taylor, a 5-foot-10, 170 pound sophomore is on his way to the NBA after he made scored 138 points in one college basketball game, shattering the previous NCAA record. “It felt like anything I tossed up was going in,” Taylor said.

Rio Grande’s Bevo Francis held the previous NCAA scoring record with 113 points against Hillsdale in 1954.

Jack recently transferred to Grinnell after a year at Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Jack started off the game on Nov. 20 slow, but quickly got hot in the second half, averaging an astounding four points a minute.

“I don’t think reality has set in yet,” Jack said.

“I never heard of nothing like that. That’s like a video game,” New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony said after hearing of the news.

Guests sipped on signature cocktails created by Travis London such as “La La’s Birthday Bellini and participated in a “cake-off” for La La where each guest decorated cakes for La.

Although La was able to spend her birthday with her husband Carmelo Anthony a few days before, she noted there is nothing like a “brunch or a girls night out” to celebrate ringing in another year.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West didn’t rush back to his West Village pad for some along time after partying with her family! HollywoodLife.com can tell you that they partied with Kim’s best friend Jonathan Cheban and LaLa Anthony at one of their favorite hotspots.

“After Scott’s party they went to Catch for a private party for Carmelo [Anthony],” the source says. “It was a lot of fun. His Knicks teammates were there and Kim and Kanye were super lovey-dovey.”

The party was in honor of Carmelo and it was thrown by Audemars Piguet, a very expensive men’s watch brand that retails around $300K.  It was called an “appreciation party” and Audemanrs gave Carmelo his a custom NY Knicks watch!

We told you that at Scott’s RYU restaurant opening earlier in the night, Kanye showed up and was holding hands with Kanye the entire time. They seemed super in love and it had fans outside going wild!

Later that night Diddy even stopped by!

Kim and Kanye have been spotted all over NYC together and she has even been sporting some “KW” earrings!

HollywoodLife.com caught up with Kim Kardashian’s bestie and star of the new Steve Harvey flick ‘Think Like A Man’ at the NYC premiere on April 17 and she told us how you can land Mr. Right!

LaLa Anthony knows a thing or two about love — she did manage to nab NBA star Carmelo Anthony! The gorgeous actress and reality star tells HollywoodLife.com that if you’re losing sleep over an ex or constantly searching for a guy, you need to take her advice.

“Men and women do think and function differently and you have to recognize and know that … women definitely act off of emotion, where men have a tendency not to,” she says. “I just think that as women sometimes reacting off of emotions can get us in trouble and we have to learn to just take that moment and process and then react. Which is what a man normally does, is the premise of thinking like a man.”

Great advice but it can definitely be tough to follow! She also adds that there’s one thing you should never do in a relationship — give an ultimatum!

“I don’t think ultimatums are a good thing because sometimes you do an ultimatum to shock somebody,” she says. “And what ends up happening is you end up shocking yourself. My dad used to always tell me that shock value doesn’t work, because the only person you end up shocking is yourself and I learned that the hard way. It bounces back on you.”

La La Anthony couldn’t wait to hang out with her girlfriends after her big performance. The 32-year-old has garnered a lot of buzz for the off Broadway show and we told you even her bestie Kim Kardashian went to see her in it over the weekend. HollywoodLife.com hit up La La’s after party and we can tell you every juicy little detail.

As soon as La La arrived at Lounge 48 in Midtown Manhattan, she quickly drank one of the speciality cocktails created for the evening called Love, Loss and XRated Xperience. She spent most of the night talking about her hubby Carmelo Anthony, showing off her gorgeous manicure, but her favorite part of the evening was the gorgeous 4-tiered cake! We even overheard her saying she was going to save the piece that said “La La Anthony” so she could take it home to show her 4-year-old son Kiyan.

We have two of La La’s cocktails from the soiree and we can tell you exactly how to make them!

LaLa’s Pink Xcessory:

1.5 oz. of X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
Squeeze of Lemon
.5 oz. Agave Nectar
3 Raspberries
2.5 oz. Champagne

*Muddle raspberries in shaker and then shake all ingredients except champagne. Strain into a wine glass with ice then top with champagne. Garnish with a raspberry and serve.

Love, Loss & An X-Rated Xperience:
2 oz. SKYY Infusions Pineapple
2 oz. X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
Splash of Lime Juice
3 Pineapple Chunks

*Crush pineapple in bottom of cocktail shaker. Add rest of ingredients with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish with pineapple slice.

La La tells HollyBaby.com exclusively that ‘it’s kind of crazy’ how competitive schools are in NYC. ‘I interviewed tons of schools,’ she admits!

In New York City it’s no secret that it’s very hard to get children into highly sought after private schools. Parents fight to get into the likes of Horace Mann, Collegiate School and The Buckley School years before their kids are even at the age to attend. VH1′s La La’s Full Court Life star La La Vazquez knows this better than anybody. She tells HollyBaby.com exclusively that she had a tough time selecting to where to send her 4-year-old son Kiyan!

“It is kind of crazy but I interviewed tons of schools,” La La, 32, admitted to us on Oct. 1 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J. “I picked the one I thought was best. You just have to be a parent and get out there and talk to the schools, talk to the teachers, really decide what you want for your child and I think I found a good fit.”

La La, her 27-year-old basketball hubby Carmelo Anthony and little Kiyan moved to NYC in the Spring of 2011 after Carmelo was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the New York Knicks. Since then, La La’s been trying to get used to her raising her son in NYC.

“It’s hard in the city because there’s not a lot of just grassy areas to just let him run around and play,” she explained. “But you find your cool spots. Central Park is awesome. Children’s museums, museum of natural history — you find cool places for him to have a good time and he’s starting school now so he’s occupied there as well.”

In the season premiere of VH1′s La La’s Full Court Life, La La makes the big move from Colorado to New York City with her husband Carmelo Anthony and their 4-year-old son Kiyan! But the flashing lights of the big apple intimidate La La — and the people she meets aren’t as welcoming as she hoped …

“We are moving to New York … people everywhere, paparazzi,” La La says. “New York media try to stir up controversy.”

But that’s just the beginning. Are rumors starting that Carmelo had a lovechild with another woman? “I don’t know if I would still be here right now if it was a secret baby,” La La vaguely answers.

Has La La made the right decision to be with Carmelo and move to New York with him? “Dating an athlete is a tough thing to do,” she admits. “I want to be a wife, [but] I don’t want to give up my dreams and my career.”

And could La La be having another baby? She’s throwing up for some reason!

Hollywood’s hottest celebrities have long had a penchant for Christian Louboutin’s signature red soles. In fact, the famed designer even made a pair specifically for Blake Lively, who is inarguably one of his biggest fans. Last night, at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, California, formerly retired actress Amanda Bynes graced the red carpet in a skintight Herve Leger bandage dress — but it was her Louboutin Change of the Guard pumps that had us doing a double-take! This wasn’t the first time we’ve seen the fringed footwear. It turns out the Kardashian sisters as well as LaLa are all proud owners of the electric blue version of this shoe!

Back in February, for husband Carmelo Anthony‘s much anticipated debut as a New York Knick, LaLa stayed stylish on the sidelines, posting a TwitPic of her “game shoe” — the Change of the Guard sandal, which conveniently resembles the Knicks’ team color! Then, on Apr. 7, Kourtney Kardashian wore the same shoes while gallivanting around LA. Just three days later, little sis Khloe paired the pumps with matching jeans while enjoying dinner with hubby Lamar at paparazzi playground Katsuya. If they were a normal family, I’d say that maybe they shared the shoes, but after we got a glimpse into Khloe’s gargantuan closet, chances are they both happen to own the same pair. Ah, the sweet life of a basketball wife!

Depending on the rest of the outfit, these shoes can really be a hit or miss. I love what Kourtney did with them, but I wish Amanda Bynes would have gone a little less bold, especially considering the basic, recognizable (not to mention slightly overused) design of the Leger she wore. Regardless, these are truly an example of Louboutin’s impeccable craftsmanship, and we are always waiting for his next collection!
