Busy Philipps is about to be even busier in a few months — she’s pregnant with her second child! The 33-year-old actress is expecting another baby with her husband, fellow actor and producer Marc Silverstein.

The couple are already proud parents to daughter Birdie Leigh, 4. Busy announced the good news on her Twitter account on Dec. 10.

Even though most celebrities take to the social media outlet to reveal their baby news these days, the Cougartown actress had a more unconventional approach — she posted a pic of the positive pregnancy test!

“So this happened…” she tweeted along with the Clear Blue test that showed a “pregnant” indicator.

The actress, who is famous for her roles in Dawson’s Creek, Freaks and Geeks and ER, has joked in the past that being a mommy has given her more celebrity cred.

“I only became a celebrity because I had a kid. Before I was pregnant nobody cared,” the actress told Babble.

“My husband has a theory that celebrity gossip feels so seedy, but if you can put a positive spin on it, like touting a new baby, then people somehow feel it’s okay. I joke to my agent that having a baby made my career,” she added.

We’re not sure if her baby made her more famous — she is pretty darn funny on Cougartown – but we wish Busy and her family lots more success!

The mother and daughter seem almost inseparable, as they are seen together shopping and doing fun activities. Though we all know Busy has quite the sense of humor, it appears Birdie is the funny, “chatty Cathy” of the family.

Busy Philipps’ claws are coming out — on Twitter!

Courteney Cox‘s Cougar Town co-star Busy Philipps is coming to her defense over some “crazy” rumors being spread about Courteney. An “on-set source” told The National Enquirer that Courteney allegedly went off on a catering employee, screaming, “Everyone knows you are supposed to have equal parts of ham and cheese in a sandwich!” Not true, says Busy.

“C.C. is AMAZING on set (and off),” Busy tweeted Nov. 17. “Everyone loves her! And you know that I wouldn’t say it if it weren’t true! … Seriously, the ‘on set source’ clearly isn’t ‘on set’ at all. … Beyond not true. I mean, laughable and crazy!”

And just to end things on a funnier note, Busy let her own inner diva shine through with one final tweet:

“ALSO, everyone knows a ham sandwich is 2/3 ham and 1/3 cheese! Not equal parts! That’s just crazy!”
