Pete told Ryan Seacrest the ordeal hasn’t been easy.
Pete Wentz opened up about his custody battle with Ashlee Simpson in a new interview this morning, March 14th, with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM. “I mean, going through something like this isn’t easy,” said Pete. “But we’re friends. I mean, the most important thing is to put our son first. It’s like the one time on earth I’m like, ‘Thank God, Charlie Sheen exists!'”

It’s been more than two years since Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 25, put out her third studio album, Bittersweet World, and we’ve been dying for more music from the punky mom. So imagine our joy when Ashlee told us that a fourth album is on the way! “I’m writing now,” she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively Sept. 10 at the BCBG show at Lincoln Center in NYC, part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. “I’m not in a rush. I’m loving being a mom, but I’m excited to get back out there.”
Would you be upset if Pete split from the band he’s played with for more than a decade, or would you be psyched to see him as a solo act?
Despite Fall Out Boy singer Pete Wentz’s previous declaration that his band was on an “indefinite hiatus”, it looks like that break has become a break up.
“As much as I don’t have a solo project, I also can’t predict that I’d ever play in fall out boy again,” Pete, 30, wrote Feb. 2 on his personal blog, adding, “In this statement I’d like to include there is the possibility that FOB will play again without me or I will be a part of it when everyone is on the same page.”
