The next big thing in television, the U.S. Version of Simon Cowell’s X Factor, will be out in Fall 2011 and they’ve already landed the show’s first celeb, top choreographer, Brian Friedman!

Brian Friedman, 33, has been a dancer for quite some time. He got the dancing bug at the early age of 11 training under the guidance of Kenny Ortega and Twyla Tharp. His talents as a young dancer allowed him to work with the likes of Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul,Celine Dion, Melissa Etheridge, Salt N Pepa, and Patti LaBelle. He has also been credited in his choreography for films such as Charlie’s Angels and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Now, thanks to Simon Cowell, he will be joining the U.S. Version of X Factor and we can’t wait!

Six things you never knew about Brian Friedman:

1. He has choreographed and directed many music videos and performances, such as Britney Spears‘ Toxic” and “I’m a Slave 4 U”, and *NSYNC‘s “Pop”.

2. Along with working on reality dance shows like Dancing With The Stars and So You think You Can Dance, he has been a important part on Simon Cowell’s other big hit show as a producer and creative director for America’s Got Talent.

3. He once appeared in the singing group, “Blessed With Soul,” along with the late Brittany Murphy – but decided a career in dance was the way to go. He obviously chose wisely!

4. He once co-owned his own dance studio with his mother called The Dance Source. But it closed in 2000 so he could focus on all of his other ventures in TV and dance.

5. Brian has been nominated for four MTV Video Music Awards, two Music Video Production Awards and five American Choreography Awards.

6. Brian lives in London and Los Angeles.

If Simon Cowell thinks Brian is awesome, how can we not agree? We can’t wait to see what he has in store for the US Version of X Factor when it debuts September 2011.

Prescription drugs were found in his system, but the dosage was not lethal.

Two months after British screenwriter Simon Monjack, 40, was found dead in his Hollywood home May 23, coroners have finally determined the cause of his death — acute pneumonia and severe anemia. Ironically, his wife Brittany Murphy died of the same causes in Dec. 2009.

“Just like Brittany,” Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter confirmed to CNN, there were some prescription drugs in Simon’s system, but not enough to be considered lethal.

Though the preliminary findings have been released, the full report has yet to come out.

Brittany’s mother Sharon Murphy said these findings should “stop the reckless innuendos that my daughter and son-in-law misused any kind of prescription medications. … It is with great relief that Simon’s preliminary autopsy findings have been released, so the media speculations can stop. As I was sure of, just like my daughter Brittany, there was no kind of drug overdose.”

Brittany died Dec. 20, 2009 of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication. Brittany had been using the prescription pills to treat a respiratory infection.

Ashton Kutcher wasn’t always the devoted hubby he is today — admits marriage to the right woman set him straight and reveals how he and Demi Moore really fell in love!

At last — living proof that that a player CAN be tamed! Ashton Kutcher says he was a ladies man until wife of four years, Demi Moore, set him on the straight and narrow.

“I was very abusive (with women),” the 32-year-old The Killers star admitted on the Howard Stern Show, adding that he was always upfront with his ladies (including Mad Men star January Jones, the late Brittany Murphy and actress Ashley Scott), telling them he wasn’t interested in a serious relationship. “But like every girl, they always think that ‘I will be the one to change him’,” he said.

Until he met Demi, that is. “We met through a mutual friend. She thought I was a douche bag. I had just gotten out of the shower and walked in the room with no shirt on.”

He acknowledges that — sans clothes — he knew Demi, 47, was the one right away. “I knew I wanted to be with this person. I heard her on the phone talking to her daughter and I knew she would keep me grounded. I told her, ‘I need to talk to you later.’”

Ashton admitted, “I seduced women. That was my move. I was a womanizer. I wasn’t marriage material.” But the older brunette beauty changed everything for him. “I had to prove to her that I was serious. I hung in there telling myself, ‘This is the woman I want to be with.’”

Less than a month later, he proved it, they fell in love and the rest is history. Best yet, there’s hope for all of us out there that a player can be tamed!

Pharmacy records prove she was prescribed a lethal amount.

New information about Brittany Murphy‘s addiction to prescription medication has come to light in a new report from TMZ. According to the site, Brittany received at least 200 pills per month between Jan. 2008 and Aug. 2009 — and some months she even received up to 400! Pharmacy documents reveal that she was being regularly prescribed Vicodin, anti-anxiety pills, and a Vicodin/ibuprofen combination pill, and would frequently double her prescription.

Using an alias, “Lola Manilow Murphy,” she got her pills from Eddie’s Pharmacy in Los Angeles, but was cut off four months before her tragic death. When reached for a comment, the pharmacy owner told the site, “We thought there was going to be an accident there.”

TMZ also reports that every prescription for Brittany was written out by Dr. Richard Kroop and that investigators spoke to the doctor March 19 for questioning.

Wow, can you believe this? Brittany left her mama everything, while husband Simon Monjack got nada!

Wow, this is some kind of crazy. Before her death, Brittany Murphy was closer to her mother, Sharon Murphy, and husband Simon Monjack, more than anyone in the world. Curiously, however, the actress left everything to her mom and nothing to her hubby, reports TMZ.

The actress, who died Dec. 20 2009 at the age of 32, left a handwritten will in her manager’s safe. Additionally, she had a drafted a more formal letter after she married Simon in May, 2007. In this version Simon, 40, agreed to be excluded from the will. Brittany wrote, “I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will.”

Understandably, Sharon put Brittany’s Hollywood Hills home – where the actress died — up for sale on Mar. 1. She’s seeking $7.25 million for the 8,000 square-foot home that her daughter purchased from Britney Spears for under $4 million in 2003.

UPDATE #2: Brittany’s fiancé Simon Monjack tells RadarOnline.com he is furious over the report that claims Brittany overdosed on Vicodin, which was allegedly prescribed to her by an unknown physician. He says the pills in question were prescribed to Brittany’s mother, Sharon Murphy, who is a cancer survivor. Simon says the “outrageous” claim is having a negative impact on Sharon’s health and that she is considering taking legal action against the initial publisher of the report.

UPDATE: According to a new report, Brittany Murphy was given a prescription for 120 Vicodin pills 11 days before she died. On the day her body was found in her LA home, there were only 11 pills left in the bottle, TMZ is reporting. The coroner’s report on Brittany’s death says she should only have taken four per day (maximum), which means there should have only been 44 pills missing at the time of her death. The L.A. Coroner’s Office is investigating, trying to figure out who prescribed Brittany the pills. The bottle is marked “Cohen,” but that has not led to any substantial findings as of yet.

Even though the LA Coroner’s Office ruled actress Brittany Murphy‘s death an accident, the toxicologist who spoke EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife.com tells us the amount of prescription drugs in Brittany’s system was “shocking.”  When the coroner’s office released their full autopsy report on Feb. 25, it revealed  SIX different types of drugs were found in Brittany’s stomach, along with methamphetamine’s in her urine, blood and heart.

The six drugs found in Brittany’s stomach were: Propranolol, Hydrocodone, Phenazopyridine, Fluoxetine, Dextromethorphan, and Chlorpheniramine. According to our expert, toxicologist Dr. Richard Parent, who has not seen Brittany’s autopsy report, tells us, “what was in her stomach was a deadly combination. All of these chemicals going into her liver at once … it’s like trying to get into a [subway] car in Manhattan during rush hour.”

What makes these drugs so dangerous — taken all at once — is that they use the same isozyme, an enzyme which breaks down chemicals in the liver.

Dr. Parent says, “To find all of these [drugs] in the person’s stomach is kind of extraordinary. Somebody [was] not paying attention to the [possible drug] interaction. If Brittany were getting all of these drugs from the same doctor and same pharmacist … someone should have told her not to take these all together.”

When Brittany was first found dead in her LA home on Dec. 20, several pill bottles and medications were found all over the house. Some were prescribed to her, others were under the names of her husband,  Simon Monjack, and her mother, Sharon Murphy.

We know that Brittany, 32 was known to suffer from severe anemia, but the last time she went to the doctor was months before her death.  The LA County Coroner’s preliminary autopsy report, issued Feb. 4, stated that Brittany’s death was: “Accidental caused by community acquired pneumonia, iron deficiency anemia, and multiple drug intoxication.”

So, even though Brittany’s death was ruled accidental, and no illegal drugs were found in her body at the time of her death, it still seems as though she ingested a “deadly combination” of prescription drugs before she died.  So sad.

Propranolol: Is for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), angina, certain types of cardiac arrhythmias, certain types of cardiac output diseases, a sympathetic nervous system disorder known as pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroid conditions, migraine, heart attack, and tremors of a variety of origins. It is also used on occasion for the treatment of medication-induced movement disorders caused by antipsychotic drugs and certain anxiety states in people suffering from a specific form of social phobia.

Multiple prescription drugs were found in Brittany’s system at the time of her death.

The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office released actress Brittany Murphy’s full autopsy report Feb. 25 and the new information reveals her death was an accident and her system was full of prescription drugs.

Radaronline.com gave a breakdown of what drugs were listed in Brittany’s autopsy report: Propranolol, Hydrocodone, Phenazopyridine, Fluoxetine, Dextromethorphan, Chlorpheniramine were in her stomach and while there were methamphetamines in her urine and in her blood/heart.

The LA County Coroner issued a preliminary autopsy report Feb. 4 Brittany Murphy’s stating Brittany’s death was “accidental caused by community acquired pneumonia,” iron deficiency anemia, and “multiple drug intoxication.” But the big thing to point out is the coroner is saying Brittany’s condition prior to her death was ‘treatable.’

Brittany was best known for her roles in films like Clueless, Uptown Girls, Just Married, and Girl Interrupted.
