Though Erin has denied having any sort of relationship with Eva Longoria’s ex-husband Tony, she and her hubby have ended their 13-year-marriage — do you think this is a coincidence?

Eva Longoria‘s instincts may in fact be dead on! The Desperate Housewives star was rumored to have confronted Erin Barry, the wife of  husband Tony Parker‘s San Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry, when she learned Erin was having an emotional affair with Tony — and now TMZ is reporting that Erin and Brent have officially ended their 13-year-marriage. The divorce went through on Jan. 5, and the couple will share joint custody of their two children. Erin will also get $4,000 a month in child support until 2013 and she says she’ll stop taking Brent’s money once she graduates from law school. 

We told you Eva showed up to Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner‘s birthday party Jan. 8, visibily showing off her newly tattoo-free wrist, sans the Roman numerals VII VII MMVII, which signified her wedding date! We thought that Eva and Tony might get back together after we spotted them lunching in various states, but it appears they are the next celebrity couple heading for a definite divorce.

Currently Eva and Tony have filed in two different states and we are simply waiting for Eva to find a guy worthy of her love!

New reports claim the marriage was strained by Tony’s secrets — including his alleged favorite stripper who looked just like Eva!

Eva Longoria, 35, and Tony Parker‘s divorce is turning ugly, especially as new details are emerging about the many secrets Tony’s been keeping from his ex-to-be. Though a source assures Us Weekly that “there was no physical relationship” between Tony, 28, and Erin Barry (Eva’s BFF and the soon-to-be ex-wife of former Antonio Spur Brent Barry) Tony had plenty of other secrets that put a serious strain on their marriage — like his affinity for strippers.

“Tony is known as someone who frequents strip clubs,” a source tells In Touch, making specific reference to The Palace, a club in San Antonio. The source continues to say there was a particular “diminutive, Mediterranean-esque beauty,” who seemed to catch Tony’s eye. She had given Tony and Eva a joint lap dance before they got married, but Tony continued paying her visits long after he said “I do.”

As for Tony and Erin’s relationship, a source tells Us Weekly that Eva first became concerned back in May 2010. While celebrating Tony’s 28th birthday, some of Eva’s friends noticed that “Erin was extremely flirtatious” with Tony. “It made people uncomfortable.”

And some people close to Eva are even speculating that she’s doing everything in her power to make Tony suffer. One source tells Life & Style that Eva had planned to file for divorce earlier, but then decided to wait until after he signed a $50 million deal with the Spurs. On top of just his money, there’s reportedly a good chance she’ll get to keep their $7 million, 10,000 square foot mansion in San Antonio.

But in some ways, their marriage was troubled right from the start. Another source tells the mag that Eva, fully aware of Tony’s reputation as a player (pun intended), took a “humiliating” STD test shortly after tying the knot.

Eva blindsided her soon-to-be ex-husband Tony Parker with divorce papers, but she didn’t stop there!

Once the Desperate Housewives star discovered the sexual text messages between Tony and onetime close friend (and wife of Tony’s teammate) Erin Barry, she decided to confront the woman she once considered a dear friend — in a parking lot.
“Eva tracked down Erin in a parking lot at the airport in San Antonio,” a source tells Star.

“Erin was shocked to see Eva, but they had it out right then and there … Eva wanted to look into Erin’s eyes to ask her if she had been sleeping with Tony. She had to find out for herself if Tony had betrayed her with one of her own friends.”

But of course, Erin insisted that her affair with Tony was strictly emotional.

“Erin was a cool customer,” says the source. “She kept her composure and denied any affair with Tony, telling Eva she was ‘dead wrong.’ Eva wasn’t convinced at all and was totally frustrated. She felt like Erin was lying to her face, and after they parted, Eva broke down in tears.”

It appears that the divorce between Tony and Eva will be neither quiet nor civil as the basketball player is now filing his own papers in a different state!

What started out as possible rumor less than a week ago, the separation of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, has blown up into a full fledged divorce with reports of infidelity and now the filing of divorce papers by both members of the couple! Radar Online reports Tony is counter suing Eva for divorce and has filed his own papers in Texas, just 3 days after she filed papers in Los Angeles!

The report goes on to say, “Parker’s move is setting this split up to be one of Hollywood’s nastiest. While both California and Texas are community property states, California requires a minimum of six months to end a union while Texas will rush a divorce through in as little as two months.”

Eva has requested spousal support in her papers which, given Tony’s new $50 million, four-year contract with the San Antonio Spurs, may be a big part of the divorce proceedings.

Is it better or worse that Eva Longoria Parker knew Erin Barry, the woman with whom her husband allegedly had an affair?

Tony Parker has allegedly been carrying on an emotional affair with Erin Barry, a woman his wife, Eva Longoria Parker, considered to be a good friend. Is the situation even more horrific because the two women were so close?

There is only one way to answer this particular question: YES, YES, YES! Not only were both Tony and Erin married — she to one of his San Antonio Spurs teammates — but she was also a pal of Eva’s. Double betrayal!

Some reports claim that Tony and Erin were simply leaning on each other as their respective marriages dissolved, which is still a terrible situation if it’s actually true that Eva and Erin were pals. Erin could have found someone else to share her pain with — exchanging hundreds of texts in the span of a month with another woman’s husband is NOT acceptable.

If both marriages were actually over — and everyone involved was aware of it — then the situation would be slightly different. But cheating? That’s never OK.

Shame on you, Erin. Stealing another woman’s husband is just wrong — and karma’s going to come back to bite you in the butt given she was a friend!

Less than a day ago, few people were aware of NBA player Brent Barry, let alone his wife Erin. With new reports however that Erin allegedly carried on an affair with Tony Parker while he was married to Eva Longoria, the two have both found themselves in the center of a major Hollywood divorce.

Erin was adopted, after being born to a teenage mother, and raised in a suburb of San Francisco. She met Brent when the two attended same sex Catholic schools across the street from one another. They married in 1998, and while Brent focused on his basketball career Erin devoted herself to numerous charitable causes, among them abused and neglected children.

Brent and Erin have two sons together, Quin and Cade, and Erin filed for divorce from Brent citing irreconcilable differences recently, though there is no proof that it had anything to do with her alleged relationship with Tony.

Eva breaks her silence to Mario admitting she caught Tony’s texts and that this may not have been his first affair!

Eva Longoria-Parker opened up to Extra host Mario Lopez about her divorce from Tony Parker, saying she filed for divorce Nov. 17 in LA and is “devastated.” Mario also reported that Eva found hundreds of texts between Tony and the wife of a teammate and that he was still keeping in touch with a woman he allegedly had an affair with years ago on Facebook!

Eva is pulling out of her appearance at the American Music Awards this weekend and is, “leaning on friends and her Desperate Housewives cast members for support.”

Eva and Tony were married in July of 2007.

“Have it on good authority from entertainment sources that ‘former teammate’ in Tony Parker-Eva Longoria affair is Brent Barry,” Sports Illustrated reporter Bryan Armen Graham tweeted, also noting that Brent is going through a divorce.
