Rapper Bow Wow, 25, welcomed his first daughter last year with ex-girlfriend Joie Chavis, and he told Anderson Cooper on Anderson Live the joys — and mess — of being a young dad.

His little girl Shai was born in April 2011, and the rapper said he loves being a dad.

Anderson’s other guest Snooki also echoed why she enjoys being a young parent.

“I love the fact that we’re both young, we’re good-looking parents.,” Snooki said. “When they’re 18 years old…we’re still going to be able to hang out with them and move around.”

But Bow Wow dropped a daddy bombshell — he doesn’t change a lot of diapers! He mostly leaves that up to his baby’s mom.

Maybe after diaper vest Anderson got him, he won’t be so afraid to get down and dirty! Check out the clip below.

Bow Wow says he plans to take care of his daughter! “I want my boo boo to have everything I didn’t.”

Bow Wow aka Shad Moss, 24, JUST admitted on his website that he fathered a baby girl, who he calls “Shai Shai,” reportedly with video vixen Joie Chavis. Shocker!

“I wanted to be 1st n let yall know the real. My lil girl is getting BIG fast. i love every minute of it. She inspires me to go harder. Even made me treat my mother better, its like it made me into a man over night,” Bow Wow writes on bowwowtoday.com.

“Never been a fan of posting pix of my daughter. Reason is because i want my boo boo to have everything i didnt. Want her to be able to cheerlead with her lil friends with out some a**hole sticking his camera all in my lil girl face. I know how fame is,” he adds. “I missed out on so much that i now know how important it is to cherish and have those things in your life.”

Bow Wow explains that he would love his daughter to live with him, but as all ‘his fellas’ know: “Baby gotta stay with they momma and all dat bull.” So, he flies five hours to see her whenever he can.

“The bs that comes with having a baby momma is expected. So i neva trip. Jus gotta suck it up keep chin high and try not let her get the best of my feelings by playin them stupid games,” Bow Wow writes, adding, “this is my 1st.”
