Bobby Brown’s legal troubles have finally caught up with him. The notoriously troubled singer has been sentenced to 55 days in jail following his third DUI arrest in October of 2012!

Bobby Brown’s Third DUI Arrest

Bobby, 44, was arrested on Oct. 24, 2012 after cops pulled him over for erratic driving. Upon smelling alcohol in his car, the singer was made to take a field sobriety test, which he failed. He was charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license, which happened as a result of his other DUI conviction earlier that year. His first DUI conviction occurred in 1996.

TMZ reports that Bobby pled no contest to the charges on Feb. 26, earning his 55-day sentence, as well as four years of probation. He’s also been ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol program.

He has until March 20, 2013 to turn himself in to the jail to begin serving his sentence, and he’s been ordered to attend 3 AA meetings a week until he does.

Bobby Arrested For DUI Just After Whitney Houston’s Death

Bobby’s first DUI arrest of 2012 happened on March 26, just little over a month after the tragic passing of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston. After that arrest, he had enrolled himself in an alcohol abuse treatment program, though it didn’t seem to be of much help.

Bobby’s Other Demons

Bobby notoriously suffered from addiction to cocaine, crack, and heroin. In late 2003, he was arrested for misdemeanor battery, allegedly having struck Whitney while shouting epithets at her.

Despite his troubles in 2012, Bobby also found time to release an album, his first in fifteen years. Entitled The Masterpiece, it was released on June 5 to very little fanfare.

Rihanna and Chris Brown have “Something In Common,” and it’s the love they share for each other! The Unapologetic artist told friends that she feels she and Chris have that “magical” love that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown shared during the early days of their marriage. “Their relationship is like the early Whitney and Bobby days,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “Ri was watching Bobby and Whitney’s “Something In Common” video the other day and said ‘This is just like Chris and me. For real though, that’s the type of fun we having right now. I love Whitney. She was my girl. Can’t nobody do it better than her.’”

Our source says Rihanna is a huge Whitney fan, adding:

“She loves that old Whitney jam and knows that she and Chris have so much in common that just bonds them. They get each other just like Bobby and Whitney. You could see it’s like real love with she and Chris – like ain’t no bullshi**ng. The s**t is magical and it’s real.”

As HollywoodLife.com reported earlier, Chris has been ruffling feathers on Instagram, suggesting that today’s musical landscape would be less than stellar without himself and RiRi.

Chris, 23, made a bold claim on Instagram, suggesting that the music we listen to today would be completely different without the existence of Breezy and RiRi. One thing is certain — Chris knows how to stir up controversy on social media outlets.

“What would music today sound like if [Rihanna and I] didn’t exist?” Chris asked his followers on Instagram on Dec. 2.

Unfortunately, Chris’ fans didn’t necessarily agree that he and Rihanna are responsible for today’s great music.

One fan said, “It would sound like real r&b.” Another added, “Wayyyyyyyy betterrrrr.”

While Bobbi Kristina is preparing for the premiere of her Lifetime reality series, her dad Bobby Brown is also busy preparing — for major legal troubles! TMZ reports that Bobby, 43, was arrested Oct. 24 on suspicion of DUI after failing a field sobriety test at around 1 a.m.

And yes, this is the second time Bobby has been arrested for DUI this year. After being booked back in March, he enrolled himself in an alcohol abuse treatment program — which clearly worked wonders.

Bobby Brown has been arrested because of suspicion of driving under the influence.

Bobby, 43, was nabbed at 12:20 PM PST for driving with a cell phone when cops suspected substance abuse, TMZ reports.

Bobby is reportedly at Van Nuys jail. He has a DUI previously on his record.

Bobbi Kristina turns 19 today, March 4, and it’s so sad that she can’t celebrate her birthday with her mom and best friend Whitney Houston!

Bobbi Kristina should be celebrating today, but according to our sources close to the birthday girl, “Krissy doesn’t want to celebrate her birthday because she feels like she has nothing to celebrate!” With a few weeks removed from her mother’s death the question now is, will her father Bobby Brown, who has been on tour with New Edition, visit her on this special day? She doesn’t want to have to put on some act on her birthday pretending to be happy. She just wants to be alone with her brother Nick.”

The devastation of her mother’s passing still lingers as we have been told what she would normally be doing on this special day was so special to her. “In the past, Krissy would always celebrate her birthday with her mother by either going to the spa or to the movies, so this is a very difficult day for Krissy. And the last thing she wants to deal with is two feuding families, Whitney’s and Bobby’s. She just wants her space right now and can you blame her?”

Bobbi is about to turn 19 years old on March 4 and HollywoodLife.com can tell you that she’s at home with her adopted brother Nicholas Gordon in her mom’s townhouse!

Bobbi Kristina is about to celebrate what should be an exciting day but there’s a good chance she’ll be alone on her birthday. HollywoodLife.com has spoken to a few of sources close to Bobbi who reveal they are fearful for Bobbi.

“This is such a hard time for Bobbi right now,” a source tells us. “The idea that she would be alone on her birthday is absolutely devastating. It’s not safe for her to be alone, she needs a support system around her.”

We told you that Bobbi allegedly tried to take her own life twice after her mom Whitney Houston died on Feb. 11 in Beverly Hills.

“Bobbi and [her adopted brother] Nick are really close so it’s good he’s with her,” a source says. “But Cissy has never been to visit Bobbi in Atlanta, so it’s unlikely she’ll go now.”

We also were the first ones to tell you that Bobbi was back in Atlanta for a doctor’s appointment after her mother’s funeral in Newark, NJ.
