What now? Well, according to Jacquelynn Powers, a writer for Plum Miami Magazine who interviewed the notoriously entitled actress—and we’re using the term “actress” lightly, considering it’s difficult to think of a film that she’s been in since 2004′s Mean Girls—Lindsay seems to think that she should have been cast in Black Swan, not Natalie Portman!

According to Powers, Lindsay told her she “took ballet until she was 19 and was indignant that she was not considered for the movie Black Swan.” Yes, indignant—she actually believes the casting of Natalie was unjust.

Oy, where do we begin. Let’s start with the obvious: Natalie is a professional, talented actress. Aside from her Oscar win for Black Swan, Natalie has under her belt an Oscar nomination, two Golden Globes, and a New York Film Critics award, among countless other award nominations.

Unlike Lindsay, Natalie hasn’t scared away movie producers and studios with her endless tales of drinking, drug use, rehab stints, disobeying judges’ orders, public spats and Twitter-based feuds with lovers, on-set tardiness, and of course, the late-night clubbing—followed by the seemingly requisite series of paparazzi shots of her stumbling into an SUV with a gaggle of her enablers. Oh, sorry, she seems to think these individuals are her caring and supportive “friends.”

Um, not a good image, Linds. How can you possibly be “indignant” about not landing one of Hollywood’s most-coveted roles, that required an intense amount of preparation, focus and commitment. Do you really think the film’s producers, directors and actors wanted to come to the set of the movie each day wondering if you’d be on time that day? Or show up at all? Or if you’ll be nursing a wicked hangover? And let’s not even get into discussing the drama of trying to insure you. C’mon, get real.

OK, sure you studied ballet. That’s great. I’m sure you can tear it up on the dance floor. But to think you were the best actress for the role—which landed Natalie the Best Actress Oscar for her incredible portrayal as a ballerina with a tortured soul—is downright dellusional!

Sorry hon, you’re no swan queen.

Between her Academy Award for Black Swan, the box-office success of No Strings Attached, her engagement to beau Benjamin Millepied, and her pregnancy (she’s due any day now!), 2011 has been the Year of Natalie!

Born in Jerusalem, Israel, before moving to Long Island, NY, Natalie got her start Off-Broadway. Her big break came in 1999 when she starred as Queen Amidala in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. She’d go on to reprise the role in the following two prequels, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Since then Natalie has made a string of other movies, and graduated from Harvard, but none garnered her as many accolades or as much acclaim as her performance in Black Swan. Natalie won countless trophies for Best Actress including the Oscar, Golden Globe and SAG awards.

Natalie met Benjamin Millepied on the set of Black Swan, which he choreographed. In December, she announced her and Benjamin were engaged and expecting. We expect her to give birth any day now, maybe even today!

A famous vegan, Natalie has enjoyed indulging in things during her pregnancy that she normally doesn’t allow herself to. “It’s important when you have a baby inside you to still eat healthily but I am having my fair share of ice cream and dessert,” she said. “It’s nice to relax a little about eating and not deny yourself the odd craving.”

We hope Natalie has a great day and we can’t wait to meet her little boy or girl!

The Black Swan Oscar winner has hinted she’s ready to walk away from her acting career to be a full-time mom — just like her screen idol Audrey Hepburn did.

Heavily pregnant Natalie Portman is due to give birth to her first baby with fiance Benjamin Millipied this summer. Could that be the last we see of her?

“Audrey made some good choices in life,” Natalie, 29, tells Buzz Magazine. “More and more I realize how unimportant it is to be in the history books or anything like that. Putting time and energy into your children, that’s valuable”.

Audrey Hepburn famously turned her back on acting in her late 30s to focus more on her family — after making her name in movie classics like Breakfast at Tiffany’s and My Fair Lady.

Will Natalie really follow suit? Or is she just worn out after packing in a string of acting jobs over the last year, including Black Swan, Your Highness and Thor — all followed by a tiring pregnancy!

We hope so. We want you to be a dedicated mom Natalie — but don’t disappear!

Did Natalie Portman really perform a majority of the dances in Black Swan? Her body double says no while Darren Aronofsky strongly defends the actress!

Sarah Lane, Natalie Portman’s ballet double in Black Swan, is stirring up controversy by telling Entertainment Weekly she did 95% “of the full body shots” in the film. Meanwhile, Fox Searchlight, Natalie’s fiancé, and director Darren Aronofsky are shooting down her claims and saying Natalie was used for most of the movie. But I have a solution: release the behind-the-scenes footage!

A joint statement released by Fox Searchlight and the filmmakers states, “We were fortunate to have Sarah there to cover the more complicated dance sequences and we have nothing but praise for the hard work she did. However, Natalie herself did most of the dancing featured in the final film.”

But Sarah, who spoke out to the media in response to Black Swan choreographer (and Natalie’s fiancé) Benjamin Millipied saying “85% of that movie is Natalie”, tells a different story. “They wanted to create this idea in people’s minds that Natalie was some kind of prodigy […] to make herself a ballerina in a year and a half for the movie, basically because of the Oscar. It is demeaning to the profession […] I’ve been doing this for 22 years […]Can you become a concert pianist in a year and a half, even if you’re a movie star?”

So who is telling the truth? If Natalie didn’t perform most of the dances, that tarnishes her Oscar win since many votes were based on how amazing Natalie did not only in acting in the film, but in how successfully she turned into a ballerina. But why would Sarah Lane lie? She has way more to lose! Natalie Portman has the Oscar, and will be involved in many more films in her future but Sarah is risking being black-listed in Hollywood as a whistle blower (she says she was asked not to speak about her involvement in the film).

Darren Aronofsky added his explanation as well: “Here is the reality. I had my editor count shots. There are 139 dance shots in the film. 111 are Natalie Portman untouched. 28 are her dance double Sarah Lane. If you do the math that’s 80% Natalie Portman. […] And to be clear Natalie did dance on pointe in pointe shoes. If you look at the final shot of the opening prologue, which lasts 85 seconds, and was danced completely by Natalie, she exits the scene on pointe. That is completely her without any digital magic. I am responding to this to put this to rest and to defend my actor. Natalie sweated long and hard to deliver a great physical and emotional performance. And I don’t want anyone to think that’s not her they are watching. It is.”

So what is the best way to prove either way what people did or didn’t do? Show us the behind-the-scenes footage! In an age of DVD extras and constant interest in knowing how a movie is made, everything is usually filmed. There is no way that rehearsal footage and practice wasn’t filmed. So whether the filmmakers have to put the footage on the DVD, on YouTube or even on an evening news program, its time to release the truth. It’s really as simple as that.

Natalie has already admitted to EW that she used a body double for key sequences, “I do have a double for the complicated turning stuff, It was not anything I ever could have done in a year, nothing I could’ve caught up with. But I think it was just better for all of us if I did as much as possible.”

So HollywoodLifers, the proof is in the pudding, and the pudding just happens to be filmed. So show us the goods and don’t let the controversy take over what really is a wonderful film.

There were so many beautiful looks at the Feb. 27 Oscars, it’s hard to make a list of the best! We’ve combed through all the hairstyles and makeup and come up with our favorites– and we want to know what YOU think!

• Natalie Portman: Maybe it’s her pregnancy, or it could be her big nomination, but for whatever reason the Best Actress winner, 29, looks especially radiant! We love her simple makeup, which emphasizes the beautiful color of her dress. Her hair is so flattering, too, in side-swept curls that have a loose, bohemian feel.
• Mila Kunis: Natalie’s Black Swan costar, 27, takes her signature smoldering, smokey-eye look and gives it a bit of a gentler feel (maybe to go with her soft lavender dress?). The Grecian-inspired updo is really our favorite part of Mila’s look. It’s so different from what we’ve seen her wear, and so unique. She looks more elegant than ever!
• Jennifer Lawrence: The Winter’s Bone actress, 20, may have lost out to Natalie for Best Supporting Actress, but she still shines in the beauty department! She looks so elegant and youthful at the same time, with long, flowing hair in gorgeous, soft waves. She completes the look with polished, minimal makeup that keeps the focus on her glowing skin.
• Jennifer Hudson: Jennifer, 29, who presented at the awards, looks so good after her 80-pound weight loss! This look is all about the hair: a sculpted updo with gorgeous auburn highlights that really pop next to her dress’s bright color. Her eyes are precisely lined and the total effect is so flattering!
• Hailee Steinfeld: The True Grit star, 14, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress but lost to Melissa Leo, really gets it right with an age-appropriate hairstyle that is topped off with a lovely thin metallic headband. We love that her makeup look is so minimal, really just some blush, mascara, and very subtle gloss!

A teary-eyed Natalie thanks “her beautiful love” for giving her the chance to be a mommy!

It was a wonderful moment when Natalie Portman accepted her Best Actress Academy Award for her role in the Black Swan. Not only because she deserves it, but because she is entering a new stage in her life — motherhood. And she made sure to thank the man who made that possible, fiance Benjamin Millepied.

“My beautiful love Benjamin Millepied, who choreographed the film, and has now given me my most important role of my life,” an emotional Natalie, 29, said. First the Golden Globes and now the Academy Awards, she really loves this guy! So sweet.

We are thrilled for Natalie and so happy she joins the pregnant Oscar winners club. Put those feet up and rest, Natalie!
