There were so many amazing moments in the Breaking Dawn trailer — we’ve gushed over all of them — and Charlie Swan had some particularly poignant scenes. The one where Charlie assures Bella he wont let her fall was, of course, so touching but we were curious about seeing a flash of Charlie crying in a non-Wedding-related suit. Could this be the moment he found out Bella’s sick? Or was this all actually about Edward Cullen? Actor Billy Burke clears everything up!

Billy, who plays Charlie in the Twilight movies, tweeted about the new trailer last night, joking “Was that p*ssy Charlie Swan CRYING in the BD trailer?! Spoiler Alert: We altered the story a bit. He’s weeping ’cause he’s missing Edward.”

Ha! Any true Twi-hard knows that there is no love lost between Charlie and Edward, especially after Charlie saw how distraught Bella got when Edward “abandoned” her in New Moon. It’s difficult for Charlie to forgive Edward but in the end he supports his daughter and he looks so proud when he walks her down the aisle!

It is likely that Charlie is crying when he finds out Bella is incredibly sick and must be “quarantined”, which is the story the Cullens must concoct when Bella gets pregnant on her honeymoon.

Charlie is a very special character and we can’t wait to see him in Breaking Dawn when he partakes in the wedding and then later on, embarks on his relationship with Sue Clearwater!

The Breaking Dawn wedding still seems far away, but we’re getting more details about what the onscreen nuptials of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will look like!

Costar Boo Boo Stewart, 17, says the wedding scene will be very emotional, Us Weekly reports.

“It was weird. I was sitting there and I was like, ‘This is actually really touching,’” he says. “I think [Billy Burke] made that scene really great because he had to walk her down the aisle, and I think he really did a great job.”

Kristen Stewart‘s onscreen Twilight father — the Charlie Swan to her Bella — is raving about the talent of his onscreen daughter!

Billy Burke, 44, said although he freaked out K-Stew, 21, the first time they met, they’re now good friends, Twilight Lexicon reports.

“Well here’s a funny story,” he said. “I met her for the first time on the plane up to Portland. I tapped her on the shoulder and said ‘Hi. I’m your dad.’ She thought I was a stalker. Despite that, since then I think we’ve gotten along pretty well. I think she’s an extremely rare talent.”

The over protective Charlie Swan actor Billy Burke dishes to HollywoodLife.com on why the on-screen chemistry works so well with K-Stew!

Two years and three movies later, we’ve noticed that the father-daughter relationship between Billy Burke and Kristen Stewart is so good, it feels real. What’s the secret?

“That is a part of the movie magic,” Billy Burke, 43 told HollywoodLife.com exclusively about his relationship with the 20-year-old starlet. “I’m not going to say it is a secret but what I will say is, Kristen and I, first of all our relationship was what attracted me to do these movies in the first place. I felt that relationship was so rich and had so many places to go, so that was a big turn on for me. Kristen and I tend to work both in the same way, we never over prepare, I don’t think we are big research actors. We come to the set and let it happen organically, so far I have been pleased with the results.”

Thankfully, we can agree — K-Stew, you’re a lucky girl to have such a cool “dad!”
