Talk about being friends with an ex! Nine years after Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton ended their sex-fueled marriage, the 36-year-old actress agreed to write the forward in his upcoming memoir, The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts.

“She praises him for giving her the confidence to succeed in her career and in her personal life,” a source tells In Touch. “It’s obvious that she still feels passionate about him.”

The book is slated to hit stores on May 15, but not everyone in the Jolie household is eagerly awaiting its arrival, specifically, Angelina’s longtime partner, Brad Pitt.

“Brad is still upset with Billy Bob and feels totally betrayed that Angelia contributed to his book,” a friend confessed. “He knows what she’s doing isn’t right.”

And so the question remains — what could Angelina have possibly written that upset Brad so much? An insider that has read Angie’s “endearing” introduction said, “Her words are lovely. She truly speaks from the heart.”

Though Angelina and Billy Bob have reportedly remained friends since their separation, insiders speculate that her feelings for her ex run much deeper. “They still have so much love for each other,” added her friend. “They’ll always be close.”

Maybe a little too close!

Amanda Brumfield was babysitting her best friend’s daughter when the child died.

Heather Murphy left her baby Olivia in Amanda’s care in Oct. 2008, when the girl died after what Amanda — Billy Bob Thornton’s oldest daughter — claimed was a short fall, but prosecutors proved otherwise.

Amanda said that Olivia had fallen to the floor and hit her head while climbing out of her playpen, but prosecutors disagree. The child’s injuries included a three-and-a-half inch fracture to the back of the her skull and bleeding and swelling to her brain — not consistent at all with a short fall. The autopsy later showed that the baby had suffered a fractured skull and a brain injury due to blunt trauma.

According to her story, she played with Olivia after the fall, fed her some bananas, and then laid down next to her on the couch to take a nap. The baby seemed “happy,” but when Amanda woke up she found her limp.

The police were called two and half hours after the head injury.

Amanda was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter for the incident. She was tried back in 2008 for first degree murder and aggravated child-abuse charges.

Should you ever get something permanent on your body for a guy who may not be around forever?

She may have been coerced into revealing the meaning behind her newest tattoo, but Angelina Jolie finally ‘fessed up that her latest piece of body art is in baby daddy Brad Pitt’s honor. But should she have gotten something permanent on her body again, given that she’s made this mistake before and had to have her ink altered or removed?

During a humanitarian visit to Tunisia in April, Angie showed off a seventh set of coordinates, which were assumed to the birthplace for yet another yet-to-be-adopted child (she has six kids already: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox). However, during an interview with Extra, the gorgeous star set the record straight.

“Well, if they know that it’s latitude and longitude they would have figured out quickly that it was Brad‘s birthplace,” she snapped. “It doesn’t take much investigation to figure that one out. [The coordinates are] Shawnee, Oklahoma.”

This isn’t Angie‘s first time getting a tattoo for a man, though. She had “Billy Bob” inscribed on her left shoulder in reference to ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton, but had it removed after they divorced. She also covered up a matching tat that she had gotten with BB on the inside of her right forearm with a design that means “strength of will.”

We do know this: Angelina believes that a) either her love with Brad will last forever or b) regardless of what happens, he’s the father of her children and, thus, has earned the right for a prime spot on her body. And let’s be honest: Angelina Jolie is going to do what Angelina Jolie wants. But clearly even she has made mistakes before. So should you do as Angie did and get ink for you guy?

The answer here is a resounding: NO, NO, NO! Never get something on your body for someone else. Your body is your temple, so why would you let someone else mark it up or leave reminders of things that may not last? If you’re going to get a tat that’s in any way, shape or form related to a guy you love, make sure it’s about you and not him. For example, getting a tattoo in honor of the place you fell in love instead of the actual man you fell in love with is a beautiful reminder of a wonderful time in your life. You’ll always have that to hold on to. If you get a reminder of the guy himself, well, I can only say that things change, love changes.

Love doesn’t always last forever...but tattoos do. If your relationship doesn’t work out, why would you want a permanent reminder of love lost?

Showing up unannounced on the ‘Friends’ set, Angelina Jolie laid the groundwork to gain Jennifer Aniston’s trust, and then steal her husband!

Angelina Jolie‘s affair with Brad Pitt may have come as a shock to the public, but according to Andrew Morton‘s new book on the actress, it was an even bigger shock to Brad’s then wife Jennifer Aniston! Angie showed up unannounced on the set of Friends before she and Brad began filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Jen told Brad’s new costar, “Brad is so excited about working with you. I hope you guys have a really good time.”

Jen should have of course known better, especially since best friend Courteney Cox was one of the people who went to Billy Bob Thornton‘s house just a few years before to remove his girlfriend Laura Dern‘s possessions, after Angie stole Billy from her!

Another warning sign according to Andrew’s book was Angelina’s reliance on method acting during her shoots, meaning if she was in love with Brad in the movie, she would be in love with him on and off set for the entire 3 month shoot!

And the rest, as they say, is history.
