Forget everything you know about superhero movies, because Iron Man 3‘s shocking twist ending will blow you out of the water! The third installment of the hit franchise shows Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) we know and love try to keep his true love Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) safe against the threat of pseudo-terrorist The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). But what is the real threat that Tony is facing?

Iron Man 3: Tony Stark’s True Enemy Revealed

Tony/Iron Man’s real enemy is none other than a man he previously tore down: Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce)!

Throughout the film The Mandarin appears to be Tony’s villain, as he bombs the city and guns down Tony’s house, but when Tony infiltrates his mansion, it turns out the Mandarin is just an out of work British actor. And the real villain is Aldrich!

Dun dun dun!

Years previously, Tony had met crippled scientist Aldrich at a Christmas party and he refused to help him develop his business, and there is a price to pay! I won’t spoil the ending, but Tony and the crazy scientist’s show down is epic!

Who Is Aldrich Killian?

Guy described his character to Marvel, and he sure sounds like a piece of work!

He came into this world with a number of physical disabilities. He’s never been able to accept those limitations though and has spent most of his life trying to overcome them in any way he can. His tenacity and blind determination in fighting for a better life are seen by some as irritating, as he often comes across as obnoxious. He just won’t accept the cards he was dealt, and being as intelligent as he is, has real drive to change and become a different person.

Well, you can officially add “Ben Kingsley‘s face” to the list of images that will haunt all my future nightmares. The first teaser trailer for Ender’s Game has hit the web, and even though it only contains 10 seconds of actual footage — excluding Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield‘s introduction — we can already tell this movie’s going to be bananas.
