With Labor Day weekend, there’s only one thing on our minds — the sad and depressing end of summer! So now is the time to throw in a Swimsuit Edition: HollyBaby style!

From Matthew McConaughey‘s bronzed kiddies to Gisele Bundchen‘s Brady beach boy, there’s nothing cuter than seeing celebrity kids swim, play and sandcastle-it-up seaside. Check out these trunk-tastic tots and mini bikini babes!

Obviously, Heidi doesn’t think age matters, but is 7-year-old Leni a little too old to go topless in front of her parents and siblings?

We get it, babies love to run around nude on the beach — take Gisele Bundchen‘s son Benjamin Brady for example. But, at seven years old, should Leni cover up?

We here at HollyBaby.com were surprised when we heard the news that padded bikinis were on sale in stores like Abercrombie and Hollister — and they were made for girls as young as six!

Yet, Heidi Klum and hubby Seal let their 7-year-old daughter Leni run around topless alongside her model mama, who stripped down in front of her kids at Hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto Cervo, Italy this weekend! So what’s worse, a padded top or no top at all?

Now we get the whole nudity thing, especially in a European country like Italy, but Leni has younger brothers — Henry, 5, and Johan, 4. Don’t you think they know what “boobies” are? It must be a little awkward for them to not only see their mommy topless, but their older sister!

We think after this year, Leni should maybe start covering up. Then again, it doesn’t seem like Heidi minds one bit! What’s your view on this, HollyMoms? Would you let your 7-year-old daughter go topless?

Although some people think it’s adorable to see a nude baby on the beach, others find it a little inappropriate. HollyBaby.com’s Leigh Blickley and Ian Garland duke it out — is it OK or not OK?

So HollyMoms, here’s the thing: Supermodel Gisele Bundchen took her almost 2-year-old son Benjamin (his daddy is Tom Brady) to a beach in Costa Rica, where the tiny tot splashed and froliced around in his birthday suit. Ian thinks this is perfectly normal, while Leigh thinks it’s a bit off-putting. Who do YOU agree with?

Leigh Says:

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with a naked baby — I actually find them extremely cute — but something about this Gisele situation bothers me. Granted, I am not a mom, nor do I know what it’s like to change a soggy, sandy and soaked beach diaper, but in my eyes, baby Ben should be wearing some swim trunks.

One time, I was at the beach, and a woman let her two kids, around the ages of 2 and 5, run around completely naked for most of the day. While at first I found it adorable, after about two hours, I was getting a little sick of seeing baby body parts running back and forth, up and down, and all around me on the beach. Eventually the kids have to put on some clothes, right?

With Gisele, you’d think she’d notice paparazzi snapping shots of her nude baby boy and be a little bothered by it, but nope. Those pictures are out in the open now — and so is Benjamin‘s wee-little parts.

Ian Says:

What’s wrong with this photo? Nothing at all, in my eyes. In fact, when my baby son is old enough to run around on a beach (it won’t be long), I’ll be encouraging him to let it all hang out.

I should probably mention I am from Europe, where items of clothing are considered an optional extra on the beach. But I can’t see how anyone could take issue with little Benjamin frolicking au naturel on a deserted beach.

There’s a practical reason why naked trumps trunks too. Gisele would have needed to switch out Ben’s regular diaper for a waterproof swimming diaper and wrestle a pair of shorts on a wriggly toddler, who just wants to run around and explore. All without getting scratchy sand trapped in his private parts.

Naked is cleaner, easier, and frankly, the way God intended. I doubt Gisele had any idea she and Ben were being watched — even by the paparazzo who was probably half a mile away shooting them through a very long lens.

So HollyMoms, do you find it weird or completely fine?

Gisele Bundchen and LeAnn Rimes showed off their smokin’ bikini bods on the beach. Ladies, can you stop rubbing your hotness in our faces!Gisele frolicked in the waves in Brazil with her son on August 10th, proclaiming to the world once again just what a HOT mom she is in an itsy bitsy purple print bikini! I can’t believe she ever carried a baby in there!

Another Hollywood hottie LeAnn just couldn’t resist posing for some bikini shots while on vacation in Cabo, San Lucas. Although her teeny tiny frame has been giving her a lot flack lately, she seems to be paying no mind at all!

The miracle boy was caught in a riptide off the coast of Washington State and dragged under the surface.

By the time surf rescuers reached him and carried him ashore, 12-year-old Charles ‘Dale’ Ostrander had spent 20 minutes under water. He should have been dead, but somehow lifeguards managed to find a pulse!

Nobody expected Dale to survive, even his rescuers had given up hope and members of his church group — who he was visiting Long Beach Wa. with — were on their knees praying.

“I’ve been doing this since 1978,” says Doug Knutzen, who carried Dale ashore.

“It’s something you never get used to, but I knew that the boy was gone, absolutely gone.”

The accident happened on Friday August 5. By Sunday August 7, Dale had opened his eyes at the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

Doctors have warned his parents, Dale may have suffered brain damage — but Chad and Kirsten Ostrander are just happy to have their son back, and are thanking God for his miracle rescue.

“We trust (God) no matter what,” Kirsten says. “If he chooses to take Dale to heaven, and if he still chooses that, then he’s still good. And if he chooses to bless us and give us back our son, he’s still good.”

We wish Dale a speedy recovery. What a miracle!

We can’t believe how incredible Heidi Klum looks — alright we can, she is a Victoria’s Secret Angel after all. But seriously, for having four kids, the youngest, Lou, being the ripe age of one, Heidi, 38, sports some serious abs!

The supermodel is vacationing in Ibiza, Spain with her husband Seal, 48, and their four kids, Leni, 7, Henry, 5, Johan, 4, and Lou. The family of six was pictured cruising on a yacht off the coast before heading to the beach on the island of Formentera.

Sporting a black and white bikini, Heidi hung out with the kids and sipped on some cool drinks.

She spent most of the summer in New York City, where she signed up for the AOL Summer Run program and spent her time running a lot!

“After running many miles, making lots of new running buddies, and pushing myself to the limit-the Summer Run is over!” she wrote on her AOL page. “But don’t think that I’m going to stop all my new healthy habits just because I won’t be tracking my miles anymore. And I hope you don’t either!”

The doting daddy had some fun in the sun in France on July 31 with his daughter Ava and son Oscar. What a terrific trio!

Not only is Hugh Jackman a hunk, but he’s an amazing father too! The Wolverine star looked as “jacked” as ever on the beaches of St. Tropez, France with his family. First he hit the waves with his adorable 5-year-old daughter Ava and then joined 11-year-old son Oscar for some rough housing in the surf. Too cute!

Hugh and his wife of 15 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, adopted both Oscar and Ava after they struggled to conceive. And let me tell you, this is one of our favorite families — Hugh was meant to be a dad!

“My son’s an artist through and through and he loves the outdoors,” Hugh says of Oscar. “And my daughter wants to be a rock star,” he adds. “She loves to dance, she’s very physical and very, very social.”  Aww!

We love this family — they look like so much fun!
