Jessica Simpson, 32, is expecting her second bundle of joy, but this time it’s a boy! According to a new report, the Fashion Star mentor is already spilling the beans on the name has picked out for her baby on the way with fiancé Eric Johnson, 33.

Ace Wins The Race For Jessica & Eric

“[She’s] told people she’s going to name the baby Ace!” the source tells Us Weekly. The singer, who is the mom to 9-month-old daughter Maxwell, hasn’t revealed how she and Eric came up with the name yet. But Maxwell is an unconventional choice for a girl, so it looks like they are on the same path!

Jessica Explains Where The Name Maxwell Drew Came From

The couple decided on the name Maxwell to honor both sides of their family, Jessica revealed last year. Maxwell is not only Eric’s middle name — it’s also his grandmother’s maiden name! Jessica kept up with the maiden name theme as well — Drew is her mom Tina’s maiden name.

“It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it they’ll know …why,” she told Elle magazine in the April 2012 issue of her baby name choice.

Jessica is on a baby-making roll with Maxwell Drew barely a year old. With baby bump #2 exposed, it looks like Jessica is really enjoying being a mommy!

“Motherhood is a dream,” she told Katie Couric back in September. “It really is amazing.”

There’s already been reports that 50 Shades of Grey has led to a baby boom — but according to the popular name trends for 2012, the steamy novel has also influenced a rise in the popular characters’ names!

The parenting site BabyCenter.com has released its annual list of most popular baby names, and while the 50 Shades characters didn’t crack the top ten, their popularity rose significantly!

The name Grey, arguably after the book’s lead character Christian Grey, rose a whopping 20 percent in 2012.

Anastasia, the book’s lead female character, also jumped in popularity by 10 percent. The nickname Ana jumped even higher at 15 percent!

Even though the 50 shades names didn’t top the lists for either gender, pop culture still had a major influence — Mason came in the boys’ top five, hopefully after our favorite reality tot Mason Disick.

A few weeks ago, Snooki announced that she and her fiance Jionni LaValle are expecting a boy — now they’ve chosen a name for their little guido!

So, what will Snooki’s son be named? “I think we’re going to do ‘Lorenzo,’” Snooki told GMA. “Because then you can call him ‘Enzo.’” Aww, how cute!

Snooki also reveals that if the baby had been a girl they would have named her “Giada.” Hmm, maybe a little guidette in the future for Snooki and Jionni? We hope so!

We reported that Twilight-inspired baby names like Bella and Jacob took top spots in 2012, but you’ll be seeing way more Kats and Catos soon at a playground near you!

iVillage.com reports that names from The Hunger Games have gotten a huge bump based on data collected by Social Security Administration’s list of top baby names.

Names like Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Primrose, Rue, and Cato are all totally trending.

They are “cool and unusual — two key factors for many moms and dads with baby names on the brain” says the report.

It’s clear from the list that the most popular names are heavily influenced from Hollywood! Find out which ones!  

We’re sure Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart would approve of the newest baby name report. Twilight-inspired names are still rocking the spots up high, with Jacob still the most popular for the 13th year running!

Isabella, like Bella Swan, had been the top girl’s name for two years but dropped to second place with Sophia now as the most popular name for girls. Could parents be making an homage to stunning Modern Family star Sophia Vergara?

In a surprise jump, Mason, as in the adorable Mason Disick of the Kardashian crew, jumped 10 whole places to take the second spot for boys. Mason knocked out Michael for the first time in 63 years, according to the Associated Press.

And William — perhaps a nod to our favorite Prince Charming — rounds the top three for boys.

A few more rising names seem to say parents are looking to the stars for name-spiration. For girls: Briella, as in Briella Calafiore of Jerseylicious, jumped an astounding 394 spots, to No. 497. For boys: Brantley, like country singer Brantly Gilbert, was the fastest rising name for boys, jumping 416 spots to No. 320.

“It shows what we’re paying attention to, what we’re thinking about,” said Laura Wattenberg, creator of the website babynamewizard.com to the Associated Press. “Today, you can’t walk through a supermarket without learning more than you hoped to know about the Kardashian family. That’s just reality.”

The list was released May 14 by the Social Security Administration. Check out the top 10 for boys and girls:

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy joins an ever-growing list of celeb kids with uncommon names, so how does she compare to Harper Seven and Moroccan Scott?

Although Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s daughter Blue Ivy‘s name isn’t in the top five celeb baby names yet, she’s right on trend! Denise Albert from BabyCenter.com said on The Today Show that the numbers and colors are hugely popular names. “I think celebs aren’t that different with the trends we are seeing,” she explained.

Moroccan, Bear Blu, Zuzu — these celeb kids’ names were voted the WORST baby names of the year! Do you agree?

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon apparently have terrible taste in names! The couple’s son Moroccan tied with Alicia Silverstone’s son’s name Bear Blu for the worst boy’s name of the year, according to Ministry of Gossip. More than 10,000 visitors to BabyNames.com voted on the worst and best names of the year.

Although Moroccan was voted worst boy’s name, Monroe was spared from the list. The “winner” was Zuzu Audrey Peterson, the daughter of pastry chef Tania Peterson and her husband Phil.

On the bright side, some celebs have better judgment at baby naming. Pink and Carey Hart’s daughter Willow topped the poll for best celebrity girl’s name. The best boy’s name was Mason Evan Smith — the son of rapper Ne-Yo and girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.

And great minds think alike: Neil Patrick Harris, Tiffani Theissen and the Beckhams all chose the name Harper, which is now the 10th most-popular name of 2011.
