Actress and mom Tiffani Thiessen, 38, joined with Baby Buggy, an organization founded by Jessica Seinfeld that provides families with clothing, gear, and services, and Do The KIND Thing to give diapers to impoverished families in New York City. “I started working with Baby Buggy pretty much right after I had Harper,” Tiffani tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

Earlier this month, Tiffani Thiessen challenged people to pledge to do one act of kindness for someone. If enough promised to follow through by March 6, Tiffani made a promise herself: To personally give out diapers to the families in need. People stepped up and accepted the challenge, so Tiffani lived up to her end of the bargain!

As a mother herself, Tiffani felt it was important to involve herself in this cause. The fact that Baby Buggy was working with Do The KIND Thing was icing on the cake. She calls herself a KIND “fanatic” who loves their chocolate-y bars. She claims she was “ecstatic” when asked to join the cause.

“My grandmother used to teach me when I was young that being kind is easier than being mean,” she tells us. It’s a message she passes down to her own daughter Harper now.

Tiffani was especially glad that this KIND project joined with Baby Buggy because “it’s really kind of geared towards parents and really wanting to give back to parents and families who especially need it.” Being a parent herself, Tiffani knows how hard raising a child can be.

Congratulations to Tiffani on involving herself with such an awesome organization and getting others to help complete her goal. As she herself put it, “It’s nice and reassuring to know that people are out there doing it.”

You’re almost there, Ali Larter! The 34-year-old actress is due to give birth to a son this month, and her baby bump is huge! But that hasn’t stopped her from going out to run errands, nor has it prevented her from wearing stiletto heels, which she did on a date night with her hubby, Hayes MacArthur, 33!

Just a couple weeks ago, Ali and celebrity friends like Amy Smart, Busy Phillips and Nicole Sullivan had a baby shower, which they organized in concert with Baby Buggy and Target, who donated items from the Petit Trésor for Target collection to benefit Baby Buggy’s mission of supporting families in need.

“As a mother-to-be, I quickly realized how expensive it is to prepare for my new addition,” Ali said. “Unfortunately, there are many mothers who cannot afford the necessities such as cribs, clothing and diapers so I’m honored to be able to help mothers through my shower.”

The first-time mom’s baby shower was better than she could have ever expected!

The celebrations have begun — Ali Larter celebrated her baby shower on Oct. 2 at a girlfriend’s house in Los Angeles! “It was an incredible day and I just felt so lucky to be surrounded by so many dear friends and family,” the 34-year-old Resident Evil: Afterlife actress told People. “It was a very special day!”

“We wanted a very worldly and natural feel,” Ali said of the afternoon shower, designed by celebrity event planner David Stark (and presented by Target and Baby Buggy). “It was very earthy.”

The glowing mom-to-be even had an unexpected visitor: her hubby Hayes MacArthur. He stopped by the shower to say hi after a round of golf. “Everyone was excited to see him,” Ali gushed.

Ali and Hayes are expecting a baby boy, who they’re already referring to as “Baby Mac.” “To feel this life growing inside of me grounds me every day and really puts things into perspective about what’s important in life,” Ali shared. “It really is your health and your family.”
