‘Glee’ Scoop: Ashley Fink Returning After Mysterious Departure

Gleeks, rejoice! Puckerman’s ex-girlfriend Lauren Zizes is returning to ‘Glee’ for a one-episode guest spot, according to HollywoodLife.com sister site TVLine!

Ashley Fink is making a triumphant return to Glee after mysteriously being absent from most of season 3 and the first 10 episode of season 4.

When the show returns for the second half of season 4 in January, Lauren Zizes will once again roam the halls of William McKinley High School in time for the Sadie Hawkins Dance, HollywoodLife.com sister site TVLine reports.

With the help of TVLine, we can whittle down her possible suitors. Artie (Kevin McHale) is currently with Sugar, Sam (Chord Overstreet) is with Brittany (Heather Morris) and Blaine (Darren Criss) dates men, so that leaves either Ryder (Blake Jenner) or Jake (Jacob Artist) for Ashley’s taking. I suppose it’s all up to whom Marley (Melissa Benoist) does NOT choose as her date. Decisions, decisions. (Don’t you wish we all had such a choice?)

While I certainly appreciate Ashley’s return — she’s been missed over the last season and a half — I can’t help but feel that her one-episode return is completely random. How will they explain her absence? Will we accept the reasoning? It’s almost as if Glee has become a revolving door for disappearing students [ie Rory (Damian McGinty) and Matt (Dijon Talton)]. Together, the three of them make up the trifecta of vanishing characters.

Ashley’s episode will serve as Glee’s first installment of 2013, slated to air January 24 at 9PM ET on FOX!

The Cast Of 'Glee' Can't Stop Raving About Charice's Incredible Talent!

Our favorite singer has been getting rave reviews from her castmates!

There is no doubt Charice has phenomenal voice, but she also has the respect of her peers on Glee!

The 19-year-old beauty is set to appear on the May 24 season finale, and HollywoodLife.com caught up with some of her costars at the May 14 KIIS FM Wango Tango Concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. to talk about her genius.

Harry Shum, Jr. is impressed with how much talent there is in such a little performer. ”That girl, she is so quiet when she comes in and she is so shy,” he says. “We don’t know how she is and then she gets on that stage and literally blows us away! You have nothing but respect for her, everytime she opens her mouth.” Ashley Fink is similarly captivated, saying, “I think she is amazing! She is so tiny and she sings like there are 30 of her! She is incredible!”

And Chord Overstreet speaks for all of us when he simply says, “She’s awesome!”

We can’t wait for Charice to steal the show on Glee‘s season finale!

Glee has gone New York! The stars of the hit show have spent the past week filming in NYC, and they have not disappointed. From Times Square and Central Park to Lincoln Center and Broadway, the youngsters from McKinley High have been all over!

'Glee' Recap — Santana Rules The School & We Learn Kurt Was Never Dating Blaine!

Ummm, Kurt and Blaine were never together? Say what! Meanwhile Santana does what she does best — instigate!

Glee bounced back from their so-so post-Super Bowl spot with a great Valentine’s Day episode that stayed light on the teachers, Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) was a complete no show, and instead focused on the kids. In keeping with the current theme of trying to give every character their own episode we got a whole lot of Santana (Naya Rivera) — and it was AMAZING!

First off, it is hard to imagine a time when Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana were not regular cast members on the show given how amazing these two are, and we should also mention how gorgeous they looked in this episode. We got meddling and bitchy Santana at her finest for an entire hour and her plot to give Finn (Cory Monteith) and Quinn (Dianna Agron) mono was GENIUS! Has a show or movie ever thought of this idea before? Brilliant!

The biggest shock of the night, season, heck even entire series however, was that Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) aren’t dating! It seems we, just like sweet, fragile Kurt, had imagined their entire relationship in our minds. And it must be said that the producers have been VERY misleading with this, especially given the magazine covers and appearances these two actors do.

So while we do love Blaine it was somewhat nice to see him publicly embarrassed after breaking our little Kurt’s heart. I kind of enjoy the fact however that there can be two gay men on the show that don’t have to be romantically involved. I am also still unsure how Kurt and Blaine are the only members of The Warblers that are boy crazy — and this is not a slight towards men who sing.

Oh, Finn started a kissing booth. I second Santana’s thought that it wouldn’t be worth the buck. This of course led to his mono as Santana, delightfully immune to the disease given her high school friendliness, swapped spit with the singing QB and he in turn gave it former gal pal Quinn during their auditorium cuddle puddle session. SKANKS!

Musical high point came courtesy of Rachel (Lea Michele) whose rendition of “Firework” blew Katy Perry out of the water. Love Katy, she’s great, but maybe she should learn to stop allowing the show to use her songs as they keep being better than the original. Just saying…

It should also be noted Artie’s (Kevin McHale) “PYT” combined with Mike Chang’s (Harry Shum Jr.) amazing dancing was pretty awesome too.

Finally, there is this whole Puck (Mark Salling) and Lauren (Ashley Fink) situation. It seems to keep skirting the line between cute and offensive. “Fat Bottomed Girls” guys? I mean, really? It would also be nice if they were going to do a storyline like this to not make the basis of Puck’s appeal the simple fact that Lauren didn’t appreciate his oral skills so to speak.

Oh and remember Emma (Jayma Mays)? Ummm, where’s she been?
