Sadly, Bronx Wentz is starting to realize what is going on between his estranged parents, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson. After Pete moved out of the family home, the 2-year-old, who doesn’t know any better, started throwing temper tantrums and acting out. Have you ever faced this struggle, HollyMoms and Dads?

“It’s hard on Bronx,” a family friend tells In Touch magazine, “and many nights at bedtime, he will cry for his dad and can’t be comforted by his mom.”

“This is a very difficult transition for children. They will need to work with his age, development and level of separation anxiety to figure out the best way to move forward,” relationship expert, Dr. Gilda Carle tells HollyBaby.com. “Also, play is one of the best ways for children to work through their feelings,” she explains.

And although Ashlee’s rep says that Bronx is doing well, the insider says that Pete and Ashlee are trying to be civil for the sake of their little boy. “Pete and Ashlee are both devoted to Bronx,” the source adds, “and they want to make sure he’s happy.”

Pete Wentz has been sporting quite the curly hairstyle nowadays and he’s “stoked” about it!

Now we know why Pete Wentz has been out and about with a crazy, funky, new hairdo. The Fall Out Boy bassist credits his 2-year-old curly-haired boy Bronx, with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, for the new and different style! “My son, he’s got this full head of awesome curly hair, and when he gets out of the bath he’s so stoked,” Pete, 31, tells People. “I want to get out of the shower and just be stoked.”

The reason for Pete’s revamped look is simply that he was sick of having to style it. “The amount of maintenance that went into my [straight] hair was ridiculous,” he admits. Who knew Pete had curly hair? It’s time for him to leave the flatiron for Ashlee and embrace his inner fro!

Bronx vs. Shiloh! Who wore their military jacket better?
