Uma Thurman gave birth to her third child on July 15, according to Us Weekly. The baby girl joins Uma’s other two children — Mya, 13, and Levon, 10, — from her ex-husband, Ethan Hawke. This is the Oscar-nominee’s first child with financier Arpad Busson.

No other details were immediately available.

The couple got engaged in 2008, only to call it off a year later. However, they got back together in 2011 and in February of 2012, it was announced the couple would be expecting their first child.

“Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid,” a source told Us Weekly. “It was a surprise.”

How are you holding up, Uma? After months of speculation, People confirmed that the leggy blond beauty called it quits with her dashing Swiss fiancé on Nov. 15. after more than two years of dating.

Although the couple got engaged in 2008 (and Uma got a pretty sweet eight-carat diamond engagement ring), it’s definitely over.

There were signs, of course. Uma set the record straight in Sept. when she said a ceremony wasn’t likely in the near future, despite rumors of a summer wedding. “I’m happily engaged, but we haven’t set a wedding up,” she told W magazine. “We can’t live anywhere else because my children’s father [Ethan Hawke] lives here [in NYC]…I’m not in a rush to do anything. One day we’ll do it, when we’re ready. We’ll figure things out.”

Only unfortunately for Uma and Arki, that time never came.

It sounds like Uma’s kids mean the world to her, and she didn’t want to compromise their happiness. We totally respect that — and hope she’s doing well.
