Months after changing from a brunette to a red head, Ariel was ecstatic to show her fans that she dyed her hair again. As soon as she changed her hair color to blonde, she uploaded a picture to show off her followers on Instagram on May 24. She said, “Back to blonde #fridaychange #blondie #imnaturallyblonde #nicetobeback #whatdoyouthink #selfie #blondeselfie #weekend #hairchange #hair.”

We are so used to seeing Ariel with dark hair — but we love the change!

Ariel Winter, 14, and her mom Chrystal Workman finally reached a legal settlement on Dec. 12 outside of court regarding their very public legal guardianship battle, according to TMZ. The Modern Family star was removed from her mom’s home on Oct. 3 following emotional and physical abuse allegations — and won’t be returning.

According to TMZ, Chrystal was stripped almost entirely of her custodial rights, and Ariel’s older sister Shanelle Gray will be her permanent legal guardian.

“They’re stripping everything from me,” Chrystal said while waiting outside the California courtroom where the hearing is taking place, a source told TMZ.

Ariel’s father, Glenn Workman, will be controlling the child star’s finances and estate, TMZ is reporting, meaning Chrystal is cut out of just about everything.

History of Ariel’s abuse allegations

Ariel has been in her older sister’s care since Oct. 3 when a judge ruled that it was unsafe for Ariel to stay with her mom at the time. The guardianship petition stated Ariel was abused in the form of “vile name calling, personal insults about [her and her weight], attempts to ‘sexualize’ minor, deprivation of food, etc. for an extended period of time.”

And even though Chrystal accused her daughter of having inappropriate sexual relations with her 18-year-old boyfriend — she denied abusing her daughter.

“I want to say the horrible, untrue accusations are false and ridiculous.” Chrystal told E! News in November. “I have my doctor’s letter that my daughter’s never been abused…I have stylists’ letters that she’s never been abused.”

It sounds like the court is siding with Ariel and Shanelle.

Poor Ariel Winter — her real-life family drama gets uglier by the day. She has been under custody of her sister Shanelle Workman since October after a guardianship hearing found their mom Crystal Workman an unfit parent, but their mom is doing everything she can to regain custody — even by releasing naked pics of her own daughter.

According to RadarOnline.com, Crystal contacted Hollywood publicist Jonathan Hay in order to “leak” risque pics of her oldest daughter in a bid to prove she’s an unfit legal guardian.

But this spiteful move will only prove Ariel and Shanelle’s point that Crystal is emotionally abusive.

“Crystal’s plan to release risque pictures of Shanelle, who currently has temporary guardianship of Ariel, is going to backfire on her, in a major way,” a source close to the case told RadarOnline.com

“A child custody investigator has been assigned to the case and this is something that will be looked into extensively,” the source added.

Ariel Winter‘s boyfriend Cameron Palatas, 18, has been accused of being too controlling of his 14-year-old girlfriend, according to court documents filed in the guardianship case.

The Modern Family star’s red carpet stylist, Natalie Graham, provided a declaration in defense of Chrisoula Workman, who is trying to re-gain custody of her daughter, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

The document states Chrisoula actually provides a stable home — it’s Cameron who is the problem.

“I was very much so surprised at the relationship between Ariel and Cameron Palatas. The fact that he was much older, Chris was assured it was platonic. His nature seemed too controlling at a fitting and at dinner,” the document states.

“The home life that Chrisoula Workman and her husband, Ariel’s father provides is nurturing, non-abusive and normal,” it reads.

Ariel is currently living with her older sister Shanelle Gray, who has temporary legal guardianship until the case is resolved.

Ariel Winter has accused her mom Chrisoula Workman of physical and emotional abuse, and a judge granted her request to be taken out of the home on Oct. 3. But Charisoula is firing back, saying the “false” claims of abuse are because she is preventing her daughter from seeing her 18-year-old boyfriend.

“My fourteen-year-old daughter has been dating an eighteen-and-a-half-year-old man, and when I caught them engaging in behavior that I feel my daughter is too young mentally and physically to understand and fully grasp I put a stop to it immediately,” Chrisoula said in a statement on Nov. 8.

“I love my daughter very much. I would never abuse her in any way and I have always tried my best to always protect her and do what is right for her,” she added.

Chrisoula hasn’t released the identity of the boyfriend, but she filed a report with the LA County Sheriff’s Department to open an investigation on statutory rape, based on an alleged Sept. 24 incident where she claims she caught Ariel in bed with her boyfriend.

TMZ is reporting that law enforcement is skeptical of Charisoula’s claims, and doesn’t believe a sexual relationship took place.

Ariel’s older sister Shanelle is seeking legal guardianship of her younger sister — and control of her $500,000 estate — and Charisoula must stay 100 yards away from Ariel until the next guardianship hearing on Nov. 20.

But the Modern Family star’s mom Chrisoula Workman is denying any abuse took place.

Now, Shanelle — who was also removed from Charisoula’s care nearly 20 years ago — is seeking full guardianship of her younger sister, and head of her estimated $500,000 estate. Charisoula is ordered to stay away from her daughter until their next hearing on Nov. 20.
