The Parks & Recreation star says it’s “total madness” raising two little boys, age two and under! But she feels “very blessed!”

When you’re on a roll, why stop? That’s Amy Poehler‘s motto when it comes to kids. “There’s a certain chaos that is kind of fun,” the actress, 39, tells PopEater of raising her two boys Archie, 2, and Abel, 7 months. “Like when you already have one kid in diapers and all that stuff, you might as well just keep it going.” Hey, it makes sense!

Amy, who is married to the equally funny Will Arnett, 40, admits that it’s often “total madness” in the house with her “double-A batteries,” but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“You really, really learn the lesson of just living in the moment because you just can’t plan anything,” Amy explains. “Kids just really teach you to just enjoy this now because five minutes from now, you could be losing it.”  And you would never want to lose a single moment with your adorable blonde boys, Amy!

Funny lady Amy Poehler, who was a presenter last night (Jan. 30) at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, prepared for the big gig by spending her Saturday afternoon unwinding at Coldwater Park in Beverly Hills, CA with her adorable 2-year-old, Archie. The perfect pair brought along a pail, shovel and toy truck to dig their way through the sandbox. She’s such a fun mom!

Meet the new man in Amy’s life — Abel!

The blond-haired, blue-eyed babe had such a good time with his mommy that he couldn’t resist showering her with hugs and kisses. Don’t they make such an adorable mommy-son duo? Parks and Recreation star Amy, 39, and her husband Will Arnett, 40, welcomed their second son, Abel, in August 2010. Soon he’ll be able to join his big brother in the sandbox!

Starting tomorrow night on Fox, you’ll be able to tune in every Tuesday night to see Keri Russell co-starring with Will Arnett in the new sitcom Running Wilde. But just because she’s got a brand new show on the air doesn’t mean things are suddenly easy for the mother of River Deary, 3. “Anytime you’re working and you have kids it’s hard,” she told Hollybaby.com exclusively.

“My little guy’s first week of preschool was last week,” the 34-year-old says. “I never imagined I wouldn’t be walking him to class. By chance I didn’t have to go in until 1 p.m. so I got to drop him off at least. I’m sure it’s hard for my lawyer friends, too. You just have to make time. During weekends I try to be there to make dinner. I try to make the little bits count.”

It helps, too, that her co-star Will, 40, also has a couple of little ones at home. His wife, Amy Poehler, 38, just gave birth to their second son, Abel, last month, while older son Archie will be 2 next month.

“Will has a little guy so they’ve already played together. It’s the best because Will is in the same situation.”

Amy gave birth to son number two this morning in Los Angeles.

Hooray for Amy Poehler! This morning, she gave birth to her second baby, a little boy named Abel James Arnett, who weighed in at 7 pounds and 13 ounces and joins older brother Archie (who will be 2 in October) and dad Will Arnett to bring the clan to a total of four.

According to Amy’s rep, “Amy, Will, Abel and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably.”

Amy’s already a big fan of being a mom, telling People a couple of months after Archie was born, “It’s amazing, he’s just the best.” Her NBC sitcom, Parks and Recreation, won’t be back on the air until midseason to accomodate Amy’s maternity leave.
