Anthony Weiner, 47, made headlines in June 2011 when he was caught sexting and sending naked photos to six other women. Adding fuel to the fire, during the scandal it was revealed that Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin, the deputy chief of staff to Hilary Clinton, was pregnant with their first child.

A year and a baby later, Anthony proudly told People, “I really do feel like a very, very different person.”

The former congressmen has been working hard to rebuild his marriage and even sought professional counseling. He claims that one of the reasons his marriage was able to be salvaged was the birth of their son, Jordan.

“I’ve had enormous regrets about what I put Huma through, how I let my constituents down,” Anthony confessed. “But it’s not like I sit all day replaying it in my mind. With a baby, it is it is pretty easy to put things into perspective.”

Many people questioned why Anthony’s wife Huma would stay with him after such a heartbreaking scandal, but she credits Anthony’s change of character and commitment as the reason she stayed.

“I’m proud to be married to him. My husband did a really stupid thing. It was an extremely painful time. But there was love and commitment to this marriage,” Huma said. “It took a lot of work to get where we are today, but I want people to know we’re a normal family.”

She also adds, “Anthony has spent every day since then trying to be the best dad and husband he can be,” including doing all the laundry and running the house when Huma is working in Washington.

According to Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf, Anthony has not completely ruined his chances of reentering the political world. “[I]t will take time, but he is the kind of fellow who can rebuild a public life. He had a consitutency that adored him, and he worked very hard,” Sheinkopf notes.

But Anthony isn’t looking to return to politics anytime soon. “I’m not watching C-SPAN3 in the middle of the night regretting how my life has turned out,” he confessed.

It seems that the former congressman has achieved the impossible and successfully salvaged his marriage after the scandal. He even joked, “You wonder if my name was Mitchell whether the scandal would have been as bad.”

Anthony Weiner has a rare reason to celebrate — his wife Huma Abedin has given birth!

Anthony, 47, and Huma, 36, welcomed a baby boy on Dec. 21, the New York Post reports. Jordan Zane Weiner weighed in at just over 7 pounds, a source close to the couple said.

Anthony had been a New York Congressman until he accidentally posted a lewd picture of himself — meant for a female supporter — to his public Twitter account in May 2011. He resigned from his post the following month.

Anthony Weiner‘s wife needs her space! The New York Post reports that the gorgeous wife of disgraced New York Congressman Anthony Weiner isn’t going to stand by her husband — for now.

“She is definitely taking time off away from her husband and chilling,” a source reveals. “And he’s going some place for at least a couple of weeks.”

Anthony, 46, is reportedly checking himself into an “intense” rehab program to help him overcome the issues that caused him to have emotional affairs during his marriage to the 35 year-old stunner.

Huma, who is in the early stages of her pregnancy was reported at one time to have felt trapped in the marriage after her husband’s betrayals were revealed. Over Father’s Day weekend the couple spent time in the Hamptons and were later spotted having what looked to be a tense lunch.

“[Huma's family] is going to be watching her like a hawk,” the source continues. “Like she’s under a microscope.”

We’ve been waiting on pins and needles to see what Huma’s next move would be. We don’t blame her for taking time off during this stressful time but we sure hope she doesn’t quit her high powered job as a senior aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Luckily Hillary sure knows how to deal with a scandal!

Should Huma leave Anthony for good?

Anthony Weiner and his wife Huma Abedin went for brunch at La Bottega in NYC on Saturday and initial reports said Huma looked “miserable” and Anthony seemed “tense”. However, we spoke to another witness that was at Chelsea’s Maritime Hotel restaurant at the same time as Anthony and Huma, and they told us a different story!

“Anthony and Huma were very pleasant to each other and everyone else at the restaurant. Yes, they were on their cell phones, texting occasionally, but for the most part they seemed like they were enjoying themselves,” our source reveals.

So why did one witness say she looked so down? “They left a bad tip, below 15%, and that upset their server and gave off a negative impression. My guess is that the story about his wife looking miserable came from an angry waiter.”

We chatted with someone who works at the restaurant who confirmed the couple came in to eat pizza, and left a poor tip. They agree that the duo seemed to be in good spirits.

We hope that the disgraced politician and his wife really are working things out for the sake of their marriage and rumored baby on the way.

Anthony Weiner may have stepped down from office, but the fallout from his sex scandal continues to rock his marriage with his pregnant wife Huma Abedin!

Huma, 35, and her family have been disgusted by her 46-year-old husband’s infidelities and misconduct, the New York Post reports.

“He could be having sex live on TV for the whole world to watch and she’d still feel like she’d have to stay with him for now,” the source said. ”No one in her family wants to put any pressure on her to make any decisions now when she is still in her first trimester.”

We hope Huma is able to find some peace in whatever decision she makes — this sounds like an awful way to live!

You were a jerk to your loyal wife, Huma Abedin, but if President Clinton could remain President after oral sex with an intern, you should have remained in office too.

Anthony — you got pressured to resign by your Democratic colleagues, including President Obama, but  they were wrong to force you out and you were wrong to cave. Here’s why:

It’s not that I think it’s okay for you to have been sexting and sending sexual tweets to at least five women, especially since you were married. That’s creepy and disrespectful behavior all around. But it wasn’t behavior that was interfering with your job performance on behalf of your 9th Congressional District constituents, at least until the texts and your nude photos went public.

Yes, your sexual proclivities have clearly interfered with you doing your job for the past couple of weeks as the scandal has exploded but that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t have been able to continue to do a better job than most Congressmen, in a couple of months, once the controversy had died down.

I believe your behavior was abhorrent and selfish. But honestly, why has the legal sexual behavior of politicians become such a make it — or — break it issue in this country. Isn’t Anthony Weiner’s emotional cheating and weird exhibitionism, really an issue between him and his pregnant wife?

If Huma Abedin forced you out of your marriage, that’s completely understandable. You cheated on her — you didn’t cheat on us. We weren’t expecting you to stay sexually monogamous with us.

If you Anthony Weiner broke the law like Dominique Strauss-Kahn allegedly did, you should be out. But you sexted with enthusiastically consenting women.

If anything, Bill Clinton should have been forced to exit to Oval office for his sexual activities with intern Monica Lewinsky, because wouldn’t that have constituted sexual harassment since she was so far down the “power” ladder from him? Wasn’t that far worse than what you, Anthony Weiner, did?

Yet the Democrats in Congress never wavered in their support of him. And Hillary stood by her man.

So why did Congressional Democrats bring all their power to bear on you? Because it was the politically expedient thing to do. They didn’t want any association with your embarrassing sexual obsessions. Can you blame them? Nancy Pelosi is a woman and she probably felt your treatment of all the women involved — your wife and the sexters and tweeters — was demeaning to women.

#2- you aren’t the President and therefore nowhere near as powerful. Your removal is a pain and leaves a Congressional seat to refill, hopefully with a Democrat, but it doesn’t leave the gigantic vacuum that would have occurred if President Clinton was forced out.

And finally, you got pushed out because their threats to strip you from Congressional committees etc. made you feel like you’d become less effective at your job.

Maybe you just should have called their bluff, hung tough, got counseling and gone back to work for your voters even if you weren’t Mr. Popular in Washington.

I bet, I’m not the only person and woman who thinks this. I’m sick of politicians sex lives — as long as they’re legal being — of such salacious interest. Some of our best Presidents cheated on their wives.

So what? We aren’t married to them.

Let their wives exact punishment from cheating politicians — NOT Congress! Or the press!
