Anne Hathaway‘s classic elegance adds the perfect touch to the latest TOD’S campaign for the new Signature Collection. The star was shot in London, (along with the new collection, which incorporates iconic stitching and pebbles), by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott back in May for the latest campaign. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?

“I have been a longtime fan of Tod’s and was very excited to be a part of exploring a new side of their identity with the launch of their Signature Collection. The Tod’s brand symbolizes a commitment to quality, style and classic modernity. These are bags that age with you and never let you down. The designs are classic and the materials are of the highest quality. As a result, they don’t grow older, they only grow better just like a woman,” Anne said.

Anne Hathaway was in NYC on Aug. 8 for the One Day premiere, where she showed up looking stunning in a resort dress by Alexander McQueen, making her the first star to show off a look from the collection.

The dress, which hit right around the knee, contained a boned bodice, complete with gold embroidery. The detailing narrowed out the waist before expanding into a full skirt. Gold encrusted Christian Louboutin pumps and Tiffany & Co. jewelry completed the look. I can’t get over how gorgeous this get-up was on the star, and I love the longer length — get ready to see frocks with longer hemlines on numerous red carpets come fall!

For the after party at the Russian Tea Room, the 28-year-old actress swapped her elaborate McQueen frock for a more appropriate yet still oh-so-chic Carven dress and a pair of Roger Vivier shoes.

Anne Hathaway channeled her inner princess when she turned up at The White Fairy Tale Love Ball in Crespieres, France clad in a white Valentino couture gown from his spring 2006 collection — but she looked more like a Disney character than a divine star!

The form-fitting frock flowed out in ruffles and finished with silver sequin. The sleeves were also ruffled and covered in sequin — but it almost looked like the bottom of a tablecloth to me!

Granted, the dress was stunning, but something about it just didn’t work. White is a difficult color to pull off, and since Anne has such fair skin she kind of looks like an ice princess. Several others also felt it was a little over the top.

The Princess Diaries actress went with wavy curls and used a flower-wreath handband to accessorize. As if the dress wasn’t overkill, this helped increase her “royal” status from ice princess to snow queen.

What did you think of her spring get-up last night?

Anne Hathaway‘s stylist, Rachel Zoe, went into labor yesterday — but that didn’t stop the star from looking so chic on the red carpet at the premiere of Rio, The Movie in Rio de Janeiro on Mar. 22.

In a white lace Dolce & Gabbana dress from the spring 2011 collection, the star looked so beautiful. I love the vintage vibe of the get-up, and I also really like how feminine and youthful the dress is. Paired with a snakeskin clutch and side swept hair, I thought she looked great.

Geek or glam, which way do you like the star?

When it comes to red carpet glamour, Anne Hathaway is a seasoned vet — the way she wears a gorgeous ball gown is like no other! While I’m so excited to see a slew of frocks on the talented and stylish Oscar host on Feb. 27, I was shocked to see her step out channeling a totally different vibe on Feb. 24!

Sure, sometimes the star likes to dress down just like everyone else, but from the white blouse and black skirt to the oversized frames, she looked like she was going to a costume party, not the Harvey Weinstein and Dior Oscar Dinner! While glasses look great on some gals, I don’t think they work well in this instance — although I appreciate Anne attempting to try out a different look. I hope she got this funky style slip-up out of her system before the big night on Sunday!

Which look did you like best on the star?

I don’t know about you, but I love seeing Anne Hathaway all dressed up in a gown on the red carpet, although lately the star has opted for a slew of short dresses while promoting Love & Other Drugs. Her press stop in Sydney was no exception, where the star showed off her long legs in not one, but two sparkling minis in one day!

For the premiere on Dec. 6, she turned up in a 3/4 sleeved Oscar de la Renta frock from the spring 2011 collection. Anne kept the look simple, wearing her hair back and accessorizing with metallic sandals. While she looks elegant, (as always), I wasn’t crazy for the dress — the color made her appear washed out.

Earlier that day Anne attended the photocall at the Sydney Theatre Company wearing a sparkling dress from Christopher Kane‘s resort 2011 collection. Between the navy sparkling print and her red lips Anne looked amazing — I prefer this youthful look over the dress she wore to the premiere. The star completed the look with Brian Atwood ‘Donna’ pumps.
