Carrie Diaries star AnnaSophia Robb, 19, has made quite the shift since her Bridge to Terabithia days. The teen was chosen for the cover for Seventeen‘s May 2013 issue, and she’s showing off a slew of fun summer swimwear.

Annasophia Robb Seventeen Magazine Cover:

The star’s blonde locks are tousled as she poses in a vintage floral swimsuit paired with a cute yellow cardigan on the mag’s cover. She’s definitely owning the flirty looks. In another shot, the gorgeous gal is featured in a striped bikini top and polka-dot bottom that shows off her midriff…something we’re not too used to seeing on the star! She holds back her wet hair and flashes a toothy grin, creating the ultimate summer look.

AnnaSophia Robb Kissing Austin Butler — What It’s Like:

AnnaSophia spilled to Seventeen what we’ve all been wondering…details about working with, (and kissing!), her stud of a co-star, Austin Butler, 21. The covergirl states, “One of the biggest challenges for us is to be sexy and flirty on camera because we just can’t take each other seriously any more—kissing on camera isn’t that fun! But he’s so cute! He talks about Vanessa [Hudgens] all the time. They’re crazy in love! I don’t think I’m ready to be that in love. AnnaSophia Robb Talks High School Drama & College:

The teen went on to offer advice to her young fans about dealing with high school drama. She admits that she was there once, too. “I think girls are especially worried about being judged, and when you’re in high school, everything seems like a bigger deal than it is. As soon as you’re out, it feels like forever ago—zip-a-dee-doo-dah!” Annasophia’s words of wisdom? “So do what you want, and if people are going to judge you for it, who cares? You might not fit in, but that’s okay. Everyone thought I was weird in high school!” And look at how far she’s come!

Like most 19-year-olds, it recently became time for the star to focus on college admissions. Though she was admitted into the prestigious Stanford University, she turned down the opportunity to continue her role in The Carrie Diaries. “I’m a spiritual person. So I prayed and thought about it a lot, but I trusted my gut, because what else do you have to go on?” she explains.

Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) gets two romantic reunions with Sebastian (Austin Butler) in the season finale of The Carrie Diaries, but unfortunately, they’re short lived. Can these two ever make it work?

Carrie & Sebastian’s Tragic Romance

A few weeks have passed by since the April 1 episode (in Castlebury time), and Sebastian surprises Carrie at her house. They both apologize to each other for the mishap after the Madonna concert. They realize they never wanted to breakup and reconcile with a few “I Love yous” and a hot make-out session.

Unfortunately, Carrie’s happiness is short lived. Maggie (Katie Findlay) has a slip of the tongue and admits that Sebastian has been keeping a secret from Carrie — her dad’s been seeing a new lady friend. Carrie confronts Sebastian, but he admits to only wanting to protect her. She goes on about how maybe they’re too different to be together — she over thinks and he doesn’t think enough. Carrie calls off their date to the prom.

Following this reveal, Maggie apologizes to Sebastian for letting their secret out. He’s not having it and chooses to give Maggie a taste of her own medicine. He tells her that Walt likes boys. (More on that later.)

Instead of going to prom, Carrie takes Walt (Brendan Dooling) to New York City for Larissa’s (Freema Agyeman) going away party. She’ll be gone all summer long. Walt hangs with Bennet (Jake Robinson), while Carrie has girl talk with Larissa. Her mentor soon snaps some sense into her and Carrie realizes that she is “madly in love” with Sebastian. Upon this realization, she rushes home to meet him.

However, Sebastian was busy getting it on with Maggie at a random bar, as they were both sad and depressed. (Alcohol and depression never mix well, people!)

When Carrie arrives at Sebastian’s, he lets her in. She wants to have sex, but Sebastian asks to just lay in bed together all night long. She agrees. Carrie heads home, super happy, but soon finds Maggie at her door.

Maggie spills the beans and tells Carrie the truth about her hookup with Sebastian. She cries to Carrie, telling her how she was up all night in agony, etc. Carrie basically tells her to shut it and that she’s an attention-seeker. For now, their friendship is no more.

Carrie then ignores Sebastian’s calls, and when he knocks on her door, Dorrit tells him Carrie’s not home.

Walt Is Forced Out Of The Closet

Upon Sebastian leaking the news to Maggie, she bum rushes Walt at the diner and calls him a “homo!” Clearly, Maggie is not happy with the news of Walt’s homosexuality. She feels betrayed and says she’s disgusted that she ever dated him. Carrie tries defending Walt, but Maggie is too busy screaming in her face as well. Apparently, Maggie puts the blame on Carrie for keeping Walt’s sexuality a secret. (I am definitely a fan of Carrie and Walt’s friendship. I only hope they stick together in the future!)

In New York City, Walt kisses Bennet. While Bennet admits to wanting to kiss more, he tells Walt they’ll have to wait until the end of the summer when Walt turns 18. (I’ll definitely be tuning in come September for more hot Walt and Bennet action!)

A ‘Sex and the City’ Character Is Introduced

It’s during a conversation between Walt and Bennet that we hear the sweet sound of a Sex and the City character! Bennet admits that his roommate’s name is Stanford! Can you believe it?! The prequel will finally meet up with the original series! Now, that alone, is a reason to tune into season two!

Carrie’s Style Is Evolving

“Carrie’s styles is always ever evolving, and we’re having a lot of fun, matching scenes and where Carrie is in her headspace with the outfits. Definitely when I’m in Manhattan, I wear a lot brighter colors, and more skirts — I kind of go wild. It’s getting crazier and crazier.”

How Carrie Will Change This Season

“We’ll see Carrie get more involved in Manhattan life and see her romance evolve, her relationship with her father and her friends,” AnnaSophia said.

We already met Carrie’s new man, George, in the Feb. 11 episode, when she attended a gala-type event with him. I’m not sure if I’m a fan of Carrie’s new man, but seeing as how Sebastian (Austin Butler) is dating Donna (Chloe Bridges), Carrie sort of has to date other guys. And it sounds like we’ll be seeing her dabble in the dating pool more often this season.

The Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Fall 2013 presentation blew us away with a hot new collection flaunted by some of our favorite fashionistas on Feb. 11 at the Highline Stages in NYC. From Victoria Justice to Katherine McPhee, this line definitely has something in store for everyone. We LOVE that these girls were able to portray their respective styles while all wearing the same designer — but which look did you like best?

Victoria Justice, 19, diverged from her usual fun and flirty style in a tight, peplum cocktail dress. The floral pattern and conservative neckline made her appear sophisticated and chic. A classic middle part, red lips, and pointed heels created an appealing, timeless look for our young beauty.

24-year-old Vanessa Hudgens also pulled off Alice + Olivia effortlessly with a classy spin to her youthful glow. A white short sleeved top tucked into a full, flowing skirt screams innocence on the Spring Breakers star, who often dresses boho chic. The butterfly-print skirt was accented by an adorable matching Peter Pan collar. Thick, black pumps and stackable Stella & Dot Moraley Flower Stackable Bands were the perfect accessory to add some edge to the feminine ensemble.

“I’ve never been able to find a piece of Stacey’s that I didn’t like. It’s so sophisticated and it covers a large age range,” says AnnaSophia Robb of Stacey Bendet‘s Alice and Olivia line. The 19-year-old donned a modern frock with blue polka dots and a sheer hue at the event. The age-appropriate piece was dressed up with a pair of black tights and red, pointed toe shoes. Nice touch, AnnaSophia!

Katharine McPhee, 28, went for a more posh look than the other girls in a form-fitting white peplum dress. The strapless piece was simple but still displayed the perfect amount of sexy, especially when paired with black high-heeled booties. With her hair falling naturally to her shoulders and no bold jewelry in sight, we love that this star went with the “less is more” look.
