Michelle Obama V. Ann Romney: Their Pre-Election Day Outfits

Both women opted to wear dress pants on the eve before the election, where they helped their men campaign in the final hour — who showed off better style? VOTE!

Both Michelle Obama and Ann Romney stepped out on Nov. 5, on the eve before the election, where they used the opportunity to campaign one last time in support of the Presidential candidates — and they also showed off strikingly similar looks!

Both women opted for dark trousers and moderate heels, but Michelle paired her pants with a long coat and scarf while Ann wore a white button-down and matching white blazer. The First Lady’s scarf and pin definitely added her own stylish flair to the outfit, giving it a more trendy vibe. Ann, on the other hand, stuck to a more classic, safer, approach.

While they may find themselves on opposite ends of the ballot, these women definitely seem to see eye-to-eye when it comes to style!

Isaac Mizrahi: Michelle Obama Has ‘Great Personal Style’

The designer shared his thoughts on both the First Lady and Ann Romney — read on to see what he had to say!

On Oct. 18th the ever-so-fab designer Isaac Mizrahi launched ‘Fabulous,’ his first women’s fragrance, at Bloomingdale’s in NYC. With all the talk about the Presidential election, the designer dished on the style of both Michelle Obama and Ann Romney — and he told us what he thought of the wive’s matching pink outfits!

“I thought it was fabulous, fabulous. You know I love pink right?” Isaac said when we asked him about their color-coordinated looks. As for their style, he gushed about the fashionable First Lady.

“I love Michelle because she wears my clothes, regularly. The thing about Michelle, not only does she have a great personal style, she has her own way of putting things together,” he said — and we couldn’t agree more!

“What I love about her is shes so optimistic. You know, and thats a big part of the word fabulous. I think it tends to be a happy word. I love her for that; she has a happy attitude,” he boasted.

As for Ann, Isaac had one suggestion: “I would love to see Ann Romney in more of my clothes, I’m just going to be bold face and say that,” he joked.

Considering his designs looks so fabulous on the First Lady, we think it’s an excellent piece of advice!

The wives of the presidential candidates pulled out all the stops for the final debate — which look did you love? VOTE!

After turning up in matching pink outfits for the second debate, for the third, (and final), Michelle Obama and Ann Romney took the opportunity to flaunt their signature style in appropriate frocks — and it looks like Mrs. Romney is taking a cue from the fashionable First Lady, sporting a very similar ‘do and one of Michelle’s signature accessories, belts!

While Michelle opted for a grey dress with a lace print and, (of course), a belt to cinch in her waist, Ann wore a green dress with a floral pattern. A statement necklace and a matching belt finished off her look.

Michelle Obama & Ann Romney Match In Pink For Presidential Debate

The wives of the presidential candidates sported the exact same shade for the debate — but who wore it better? VOTE!

Who knew Michelle Obama and Ann Romney had similar taste in style? Both the fashionable First Lady and the wife of the Republican presidential candidate showed their support at the debate held on Oct. 16 at Hofstra University in NY, where they turned up in practically identical outfits!

Michelle opted for a Michael Kors dress and matching jacket, which she accessorized with a single strand of pearls, looking classic and chic as always. The vibrant shade works well on her — and it isn’t the first time she’s worn the hue! Ann must have gotten the memo, turning up in a textured, short-sleeved frock, an aqua statement necklace and a brocade jacket in blush. It definitely seemed like Ann was taking more of a fashion risk, and I like the statement necklace with the dress — although her visible panty lines were definitely a fashion fail.

While I doubt Michelle and Ann went shopping together for their color-coordinated looks, both women could have been showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness month — but regardless of what prompted their matching style, who do YOU think wore pink better?

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann — who sported a bright, printed dress — stopped by to chat with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan! Did you love or loathe her look?

Ann Romney stepped out in a yellow, orange and pink get-up when she stopped by Live With Kelly and Michael on September 18!

The wife of Presidential candidate Mitt Romney radiated in a tropical-like gown when chatting with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. It was definitely a flirty frock, but in my opinion a little too daring for an aspiring First Lady.

I would have rather seen her wear a red get-up like she did at the National Republican Convention.
