#1 Trim those ends!

Yes, we know you’ve been growing out your hair for MONTHS and the thought of the tiniest trim makes your heart skip a beat, but trust us, it’s absolutely a necessary step to take to achieve healthy hair. Your hair will look a hundred times better without those split ends. “The most important thing and that will allow to grow is to trim your split ends at a minimum of every 2 to 3 months,” Angelo says.

#2 Change Your Color Or Get The Ombre!

If your hair looks damaged and word out, chances are your color has something to do with it. For Leilah, Angelo darkened her hair giving it the optical illusion of being healthy again! ” What we did is we added depth and richness to the hair,” Angelo said.  ”She needed a freshen up.” So go to your local salon and work a stylist, put a plan together on how to get your hair back to healthy.

For Leilah, Angelo did the Ombre, which is a good coloring solution for dried out hair. “Ombre” is a French term  for “shadow, deep and dark,” and describes the latest hair trend when your hair looks naturally dark at the roots and gradually becomes lighter at the ends. This new hairstyle is Hollywood’s hottest trend at the moment. A-list celebs like Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston and Whitney Port are famous for pioneering the look.

Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

9. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. 10. Limitations of Liability

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. Bristol’s brand-new look — the result of work she’s had work done on her face, experts say — includes long extensions. HollywoodLife.com has the inside scoop on how to prep, apply, and maintain extensions!

Bristol Palin has made some serious changes recently and we may not be able to help you with the plastic surgery – but we can tell you how to get her extensions! We talked to Angelo David of the Angelo David Salon as well as Eric Rosado, stylist at the Ted Gibson salon, to find out how!

The teen mom may have wished she waited to have kids, but her recent makeover was a success! At least according to Angelo: “She went from this frumpy hard look — everything about it was just not great — to this much softer look. It’s much more of a glamour look. It was executed very nicely.”

When it comes to extensions, Angelo stresses the importance of having a serious talk with your stylist about the look you’re going for.

“I think first of all, you need to establish the look. Then it’s creating the right fit for each person,” Angelo says. “When someone comes in we have a thorough consultation. We take everything into consideration. Their lifestyle, who they want to be.”

Once you know what look you are going for, your stylist needs to figure out what type of extension is appropriate for your hair type. One of the best extensions for a beginner is the clip on — “probably the least maintenance. It’s wear it when you want it,” Angelo says.

Eric agrees — and speculates that Bristol is wearing clip-ons, “Hollywood’s best kept secret,” he says. “Using them for red-carpet appearances or just for everyday glam will allow you to add volume and/or length to any type of hair. They are versatile in that you can put them in and take them out whenever you’d like.”

Not only are clip-ins versatile, they also have much less upkeep!  Extensions that are bound to your own hair take quite a bit of work to maintain.

Here are Angelo’s top tips for maintaining permanent extensions:

• “Never get into a shower with your hair styled. Brush it out first.”

• “Everything should be washed in one direction, preferably down.”

• “Two shampoos. You want to keep the scalp clean. Any oils that seep into the extensions can loosen them.”

• “After you shower, use a detangling spray and wide toothed comb.”

• “Blow drying is very important, try to get all the moisture out of the hair before you blow dry it.”
