When Adrienne Maloof failed to appear at the taping of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ season three reunion special, host and Bravo network executive Andy Cohen explained her absence in a fashion that the former Housewife found dismissive and unprofessional, according to a new report.

Adrienne Maloof Hits Back At Andy Cohen

A source tells RadarOnline.com that Adrienne, 51, believes that Andy, 44, handled the announcement of her absence and resignation from the show with a lack of the professionalism she feels it required.

“Adrienne isn’t shocked by Andy’s behavior but she is disappointed by his comments,” the insider says. “She knew she would have been thrown to the wolves though if she had gone to the taping, and quite frankly she is through with dealing with all the non stop drama and verbal assaults.”

Adrienne: Why She Avoided ‘RHOBH’ Reunion Special

The source claims that Adrienne knew that season three nemeses Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump were out for blood, ready to attack Adrienne in full force. “Brandi and Lisa were both telling producers before the taping that they were looking forward to pouncing on Adrienne,” the source says. “She heard about it and decided there was no way she was going to let those b****es come after her like that.”

Andy’s Comments About Adrienne At Reunion

During the Mar. 1 taping, Andy addressed Adrienne’s absence by saying:

“Well, today we are missing one of the Housewives who’s been with us since the beginning. Adrienne Maloof has decided not to participate today. This season was hard on Adrienne, as you all know. A secret about her family was revealed by Brandi. And from that moment on, Adrienne refused to speak directly about it. We know that frustrated you in the audience. It frustrated all of us too. Adrienne won’t be here to tell her side of the story. Not only is she absent tonight, but she won’t be on the show next season. Adrienne Maloof’s final act as a Housewife was NOT showing up tonight.”

Andy appeared to be visibly annoyed that Adrienne did not show, and he said it was a lost opportunity for her.

“Adrienne won’t be here to tell her side of the story. Not only is she absent tonight, but she won’t be on the show next season,” he said. “Adrienne Maloof’s final act as a Housewife was NOT showing up tonight.”

Ouch!

HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Adrienne was scheduled to tape the reunion special, but she decided to skip that commitment. A source told Us Weekly that she had “a more important obligation” to attend with her children. “She doesn’t need that kind of negativity in her life,” the source said.

Is there something Ian Somerhalder isn’t telling us? TV’s most smolder-y smolder-er appeared on the March 13 episode of Watch What Happens Live, and when Andy Cohen asked him about joining the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie, the Vampire Diaries star gave a cryptic response.

“There are so many young boys in Hollywood up for this role,” he said with a smirk — like he says anything without a smirk. “I think they have a very big job a head of them casting this role. I can’t say anything other than it’s a very interesting story, and whoever plays that role is going to have a lot of fun [come] rehearsal time.”

Andy also asked Ian if he’s single, to which he tentatively replied,” I would not say that’s the case.” (Duh!)

If Ian does snag the coveted lead role in Fifty Shades — and we’re really hoping he does — he could always get a few sex-scene tips from Nina Dobrev‘s mom! While it’s seemed pretty clear that Rihanna and Chris Brown were on again in their relationship, the pop princess gave a surprising response about their dating status in a Facebook Live interview with Bravo’s Andy Cohen on Thursday, Nov. 8!

Rihanna, who looked great in black tank top and black leather pants, was asked by Andy to say the first thing that came to mind when he said the name of certain celebrities. Of course, he asked about Chris, to which she said, “He’s dope too. He’s kinda alright,” in a giggly voice.

Andy followed up by asking if the two were together. RiRi, 24, quickly said, “No. Not together.”

Andy also asked about the duet with Chris on her upcoming album Unapologetic, entitled “Nobodies Business,” inquiring if the message as obvious as it appears? She answered, “Basically [it's] the way I look at everything regarding my personal life. Even though you have to witness it, it still is mine. This is mine at this point, and when it gets to my music, I’ll give and I’ll give, and I just feel like I need to keep a little bit for me that I get to decide.”

“If I had it my way, it would be really nobody’s business,” she concluded.

Jill Zarin pulled in great ratings when she confronted Andy Cohen on his late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live, but Bravo is reportedly angry that Jill’s entourage secretly recorded the interview with her own camera.

“Someone in my party did use an iPhone, because they love me and wanted to protect me . . . to make sure I remembered what I said, and that what I said was accurately edited. It was for my own protection,” Jill tells Page Six, saying she had no idea the interview was recorded.

The iPhone picked up the entire 44 minutes of the interview that was eventually edited down to 22 minutes.

Jill adds it’s “thanks to Andy,” she says she’s now headed to LA, and “all these networks want to talk to me.”

We have a feeling Bravo isn’t one of them.

Upon hearing of the news, Andy tweeted out his frustration saying, “Beware former Housewives with tape recorders!!” Oddly, Jill responded by saying, “This is why we all love [Andy]!!!”

Andy didn’t seem amused by Jill’s clueless facade. “If you loved me you wouldn’t secretly tape me!” he added.

Jill addressed her fans and tweeted, “No war.. Peace and love. It was great interview with 1.3 million viewers. I think Andy is cute and funny and like big brother.”

When fans informed Jill that her interview with Andy performed better than the season 5 finale of The Real Housewives of New York City, Jill simply said, “Thanks…but that ship sailed.”

LuAnn says she did not hook up with Tomas, but did get in trouble with Jacques for trying to hide her late night hangout with the pirate impersonator. Ramona calls LuAnn a maneater in the process.

3. Sonja Morgan Whips Out Sketches To Outdo Heather Thomson

Sonja Morgan disses Heather Thomson on national television by suggesting that fan-made logos (which she brought along with her to the reunion) are better than the ones Heather created for her toaster oven box. Even Andy admits it was insensitive to present the sketches, Sonja!

4. Carole Radziwill Confesses To Dating George Clooney

As if Carole Radziwill wasn’t cool enough already. She admits to dating George Clooney a few years ago, before current squeeze Stacey Keibler came into the picture. Carole says that George was the first one to read the pages from her now finished book!

5. Andy Disses Ramona’s Appearance

Andy says, “I gotta tell you something. Your lipstick is so f**ked up, and it’s on your teeth.” Ramona quickly adjusts herself before Andy says, “you look like a mental patient.” Watch it, ladies. Andy could easily take over for one of you next season — Who knew he could be so catty!
