Amy Locane-Bovenizer, who starred as Sandy on season one of the FOX classic, Melrose Place, is facing serious jail time, as she was found guilty of vehicular homicide charges, stemming from a drunk driving accident in June of 2010, on Nov. 27.

‘Melrose Place’ Actress Faces Jail Time

Amy faces five to 10 years behind bars on the vehicular homicide count and another three to five for a conviction on assault by automobile. She was acquitted of an aggravated manslaughter charge. The actress was jailed after her bail was revoked.

According to Huffington Post, Amy must serve 85 percent of her vehicular homicide sentence without parole. Sentencing is set for March 1, 2013, and motor vehicle charges are also pending.

DUI Details

At the time of the accident, Amy’s blood-alcohol level was almost three times the legal limit. Her SUV hit Fred and Helene Seeman‘s car in Montgomery Township, New Jersey. Helene, 60, was killed, and Fred was left badly injured.
