Superman turns the big 7-5 today, and we’re happy to confirm that the boy in blue looks better than ever! The extended Man Of Steel trailer hit the web earlier this week, and it’s safe to say Henry Cavill‘s take on the classic hero will soon wash the bad taste of Superman Returns out of our mouths for good. Along with mind-blowing action scenes, the full trailer also gives us our first look at the playful relationship between Superman and Lois Lane (Amy Adams) — and who doesn’t love that?

Who knew Amy Adams‘ daughter, Aviana, had such a burgeoning, sassy sense of style? We got a good glimpse of Amy and her adorable daughter when the two went out to lunch at El Indio Restaurant in Los Angeles on Feb. 2.

Aviana Adams Is Always So Stylish

Aviana, holding onto her mom’s hand tightly, showed unique style and little pinch of swagger as well. And she’s clearly a fan of the color pink. We like the pink stars on her white t-shirt, and that loud, pink, butterfly-shaped purse she’s sporting — but we LOVE her pink Dora the Explorer Crocs!

And it looks like little Aviana’s experimenting with body art! She’s rocking tattoos on both forearms. We’re crossing our fingers that they can washed off, though.

Avaiana Adams Has Her Mom Amy Adam’s Looks

Aviana definitely has a unique style and marches to the beat of her own drum, and everyone knows where that came from — her mom! Amy is preparing to attend the Academy Awards on Feb. 24, where she is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in The Master.

Earlier in this awards season, the Santa Barbara Film Festival gave Amy their highest honor, the Cinema Vanguard Award.

According to the festival’s website, the award “was created in recognition of an actor who has forged his/her own path.”

Amy has definitely paved her own path in acting, and now it looks like she is passing that attitude down to her style diva of a daughter. And we couldn’t be happier about that.

Awards season is finally here, and if the 2013 Golden Globes are a sign of what’s in store, well we definitely like what we see! From backless gowns to sexy minis and everything in between, these stars weren’t afraid to flaunt their figures — and they did so in gorgeous designer dresses.

BFFs Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are both recently single — and they love revenge dressing! While Taylor wowed in a backless Donna Karan Atelier gown, Selena stunned in a strapless metallic Versace dress — and she wasn’t the only one who looked fantastic in a mini!

Victoria Justice also opted for a short frock for a Golden Globes afterparty, and she put her svelte frame on full display in an Ellery dress.

While these young gals dressed to impress, seasoned red carpet vets like Kate Hudson and Naomi Watts also brought out their best. Kate looked gorgeous in a plunging black Alexander McQueen gown while Naomi put her back on full display in a Zac Posen mermaid frock. I love how both dresses had long sleeves — it’s such a gorgeous, glamorous look!

Man of Steel isn’t due out in theaters until the summer of 2013, but thanks to the first full-length trailer of Zack Snyder‘s new movie, we have a feeling it’ll be worth the wait. Not only are we given many new and exciting views of Henry Cavill in full Superman garb — there’s a particularly excellent shot of him emerging from a burning room that we’ve got on repeat — but it also provides a first glimpse at many of the faces we’ve been dying to see.

Here’s a quick breakdown of some of the best/newest stuff revealed in the trailer:

0:50 — Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent

1:47 — Russell Crowe as Jor-El

1:48 — That “burning room” scene I mentioned earlier

1:52 — Michael Shannon as General Zod

2:00 — Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy

2:11 — Amy Adams as Lois Lane

Needless to say, Man of Steel looks like a major improvement on the Superman franchise’s previous effort, 2006′s Superman Returns. While Brandon Routh certainly looked the part, we have a feeling audiences — and critics — are immediately going to warm up to British-born Henry’s turn as the blue blur.

With all the fuss over Les Miserables finally coming to the silver screen, it’s no surprise that Anna Hathaway, who plays Fantine, stunned not only at the London premiere, but also in NYC. Both frocks were not your ‘typical Anne Hathaway’ ensembles, but both made a serious statement! In London, she opted to wear an absolutely drop-dead gorgeous Givenchy Couture gown in white. It featured a halter neckline that exposed her shoulders and led into over-sized long sleeves which were not only a perfect choice for the cold weather, but a unique look.

Another beauty that has been playing it rather safe recently decided to sizzle on the red carpet — and it was newlywed Jessica Biel! She stole the show in her eye catching asymmetrical Versace gown. From the differentiating sleeves to the slanted plunge neckline, this abstract dress complimented Jessica’s flawless frame. She kept her hair and makeup simple because the dress was so stunning, it could do no wrong standing by itself.

Taylor Swift may have been a little over dressed for the occasion at the 2012 Aria Awards in Sydney, Australia, but that doesn’t take away from her looking absolutely stunning. She wore a romantic, ivory and chiffon dress from the 2013 Elie Saab Spring collection. The dress featured a woven bodice with lace accents along the side of her ribcage. She finished her look with a simple and classy updo — romantic and pretty.

Selena Gomez stunned in Dolce & Gabbana at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball on Tuesday in NYC. Her dress was selected from the 2004 Fall collection– it was originally sheer inbetween the velvet panels, but keeping it classy as always, the dress was lined for Selena. The elegant ensemble was completed with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a Judith Leiber clutch.
