From a beautiful stripped-down version of “How Will I Know” to a slightly altered rendition of “How Will I Know,” featuring Naya Rivera and Heather Morris at their very best, tonight’s episode is one you’ll want to keep on your DVR for a while.

Amber Riley’s Mercedes will close the episode with Whitney’s ‘I Will Always Love You.’
The Feb. 14 episode of Glee will include a special valentine to the late, great Whitney Houston. The episode features Mercedes (Amber Riley) singing Whitney’s classic ballad “I Will Always Love You,” a decision obviously made long before the singer died Feb. 11 in Los Angeles.
Will loses his ‘duende,’ Sue finds a new calling & the New Directions do some soul-searching. Oh, and did I mention Ricky Martin drops by?
Let’s make one thing clear: I never bought the whole Will (Matthew Morrison) as a Spanish teacher thing. And after the Feb. 7 episode of Glee, I know I’m not the only one! When Will’s teaching skills are brought into question, he enrolls in a night class taught by Ricky Martin‘s — yes, that Ricky Martin — David Martinez. Will brings David to glee club to inspire the kids to find their “duende” (their Spanish soul). Things are going well until David shows off his sexy moves in the choir room, and Will starts seeing green.

Ignoring the snazzy opening number, this week’s Glee picks up with Finn (Cory Monteith) asking Rachel (Lea Michele) for an answer to his marriage proposal. Rachel doesn’t want to be rushed into a decision, and she’s right in wondering what motivated Finn to suddenly propose.
Are you glad Mercedes isn’t with child, or would you like to see her try to fill Quinn’s teen mom shoes?
When Glee fans began to speculate that Mercedes (Amber Riley) was pregnant — she was puking and complaining of stomach pains on this week’s episode — Amber decided to tweet the record straight: “Mercedes is NOT pregnant,” she announced Oct. 4. At first I was disappointed, because I really thought that could be an interesting direction for Mercedes, but after reflecting on the possibility over a plate of tots, I’m actually kind of relieved. That girl would have made a terrible mother!
Mercedes threw away a chance to show how great she would be as Maria in ‘West Side Story,’ all because of her pride!
After Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Rachel (Lea Michele) had a ‘Maria-Off’ on Glee, Coach Beiste (Dot Jones), Artie (Kevin McHale) and Emma (Jayma Mays) gave the coveted role of to BOTH of them. But Mercedes complained about having to share and quit! How stupid!
First we got word Rachel, Finn, and Kurt are going to be gone after the next season of ‘Glee’. Now there is speculation that Mercedes could be gone too! Will anyone watch the show if she is no longer a character?

It all seems so perfect onscreen but on-set accidents do happen often, and ‘Glee’ choreographer Zach Woodlee dishes on the best of them.
Director Ryan Murphy often has crazy visions for the episodes that Glee choreographer Zach Woodlee is in charge of planning, which results in demanding practice schedules, and numerous bumps and bruises– so many that Zach has created a “bruise wall” for the best of them!
