We got to chat with Miss Universe Leila Lopes and Miss USA Alyssa Campanella at the Chinese Laundry preview, where the gorgeous gals exclusively told HollywoodLife.com that they are both looking for a guy with a sense of humor!

Miss Universe says she looks for some one who makes her laugh, a guy with good manners and he ”must be taller than me!”

As for Miss USA, she said it’s most important that a guy has a sense of humor with personality and is family-oriented! She also shares her ultimate deal-breaker: “a big ego!” If he’s cocky and spits out cheesy one-liners then they can forget about it — and we don’t blame her!

The self-proclaimed history buff recently tweeted she was “born in the wrong time period,” but her newest make up look? Totally today.

The fun lemon-lime eyeshadow Alyssa Campanella wore during her NYC photo shoot is the perfect popsicle shade for summer. The color is bright enough to really make her eyes pop, especially against her red locks. Check out these nine green and yellow shadow shades to get her look!

Green and yellow are such bright colors to wear as shadows, you hardly see it done for everyday, but we’re glad that Alyssa is taking some beauty risks right off the bat!

Miss USA 2011 Winner Is Alyssa Campanella From California!

For the stunning red-head Alyssa, it’s on to compete for the title of Miss Universe!

Alyssa Campanella may have been raised a Jersey girl, but she represented the Golden State to take home the crown in the Miss USA 2011 pageant (not to be confused with Miss America!), filmed at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas. Alyssa bested first runner up Miss Tennessee Ashley Durham, second runner up Miss Alabama Madeline Mitchell, and third runner up Miss Texas Ana Rodriguez. Alyssa, a full-time model was considered one of the judge’s favorites.

This isn’t the end of the road for our winner — She gets to represent the United States in the Miss Universe pageant Sept. 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. That is, of course, if she complies with the very strict rules that apply to any woman holding the Miss USA title.

2010′s Miss America winner, Rima Fakih, 25, who presented Alyssa with her crown, was recently held under scrutiny after she appeared to have been out on an all-night bender. The prestigious title now means living under a microscope since the Tara Conner scandal. The 2006 winner was called out for drug abuse, underage drinking, and sexual indiscretion, but was not stripped of her title.
