Ali Lohan is taking her weight loss way too far according to a top expert.  The 18-year-old stepped out in Malibu on April 18 with her sister Lindsay Lohan and she was so painfully thin that it was hard to even look at her and now HollywoodLife.com can tell you why!

“Ali is definitely showing signs of malnutrition,” Alicia Hunter, author of The Accidental Diet: From Fugly to Fox tells us. “Her hair looks damaged and dull and her skin looks way too pale! Poor nutrition and health issues can show themselves in bad skin and hair.”

We’ve told you that Ali is pursuing a modeling career and reports claim that her momager Dina Lohan is pushing her to be another breadwinner for their family.

“I would love to see Ali increase her lean proteins,” Alicia tells us. “I’m sure she’s concerned about gaining weight because of her modeling career, but adding lean proteins like salmon and chicken are great ways to increase muscle mass and add weight, but avoid bloat and unhealthy refined carbs. She could also add almonds or walnuts to her diet, which are good sources of vitamin E. They will improve her skin and hair.”

“Ali’s body could also benefit by adding some strength training into her workout regimen.”

Los Angeles nutritionist, Lisa de Fazio, agrees and explains another reason behind Ali’s malnourished look. “Women who come from families where addiction is a problem are at higher risk for eating disorders,” she says. “It can be a way of dealing with stress and controlling your life. If she were my daughter, I would get her professional help! She just does not look healthy!”

Although both Lindsay and her little sister, Ali Lohan, claim they’re thriving, photo evidence would suggest the opposite!

Lindsay, 25, went out for a night on the town last week and flashed a toothy grin that showed off her rotting teeth. Meanwhile, her 17-year-old sister recently signed a modeling contract, but looks frighteningly skinny at an estimated 95 pounds.

Despite reportedly missing her psychologist appointments and community service, Lindsay claims she’s getting her life back on track. Currently, she’s appearing court and we’ll soon find out if she violated her probation.

Lindsay Lohan just doesn’t seem to get it, and it’s killing her father Michael Lohan. HollywoodLife.com got a chance to talk to Lindsay’s dad on Oct. 17 and he tells us he was mortified when he saw the photos of Lindsay’s rotting teeth from a red carpet event last week. He goes on to tell us that Lindsay’s own friends and family are enabling her “drug” addiction and that she doesn’t belong in jail!

“There’s been a lot of controversial things said about Lindsay’s teeth,” Michael tells us. ” Anyone in the rehab business knows what the cause of that is from.”

Lindsay is set to go before Judge Stephanie Sautner on Oct. 19 and if the judge finds that Lindsay violated her probation for not completing her mandatory therapy sessions and for missing nine of her community service dates at the Downtown Women’s Center she could be sent back to jail.

“I’m really disheartened and I’m extremely worried about her court situation,” Michael says. “And her well being. If finally Dina [Lohan] would stop putting a wedge between the kids and me and have Lindsay meet with the psychologists then the pain wouldn’t have led them to the place Lindsay is in now. This all rests on Dina’s shoulders.”

Although it’s clear Lindsay has a complete disregard for the law, her dad thinks jail is the last place Lindsay should be.

“I still contend that Lindsay does not belong in jail,” he explains. “She never got the proper rehab or treatment or after care. The fact that she is still on prescription drugs is indicative that she still needs treatment.”

After Michael saw the photos of Lindsay’s teeth, he decided to reach out to her and HollywoodLife.com has the text he sent her:

“After our talk the other night I can see how jaded you are. Even more so is your state of mind and now your mom Dina is coming between all of us. I’m hoping and praying you come back. The pieces of garbage around you … feeding you drugs along with Adderall. I’ll do anything it takes but I need you to listen: If Dina puts the kids [Cody and Ali] back in touch with me I’ll fix everything. I love you and if you will do time I’ll see you every single day.”

Dina Lohan had a blast celebrating her 49th birthday in NYC on Sept. 15! After attending a dinner at Beauty & Essex with her daughters Ali and Lindsay Lohan, Dina headed out with her adult friends to hot spot Hudson Terrace.

HollywoodLife.com was at Hudson Terrace when Dina arrived with her crew at about midnight. They were escorted immediately to a private area in the VIP room where they danced the night away. Dina was presented with bottles in honor of her celebration.

Dina and her group departed from the venue at about 2:30 in the morning.
