In Nov. 2011, one of our favorite Bachelorette couples, Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez, broke up and broke our hearts. But we have hope once more, as Ali has revealed that she thinks Roberto is a “great guy,” and they are getting close again. Could a reunion be on the cards? Read on to see what else Ali had to say.

Ali and Roberto have looked set for a reunion for a while, as they allegedly hooked up at the wedding of J.P. Rosenbaum and Ashley Herbert on Dec. 1. Perhaps they saw how happy fellow Bachelorette couple J.P. and Ashley are and they reconsidered their break up?

Ali spoke about their reunion to Wetpaint, saying, “It was great, he’s a great guy. We’re good friends. We just had a good time. We’re close. And that’s awesome, I’m glad that we have that.” If that’s not the sound of a girl who is smitten, I don’t know what is!

As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, at Ashley and J. P.’s wedding reception “Ali and Roberto hooked up after the rehearsal dinner. They have been talking recently and have been very amicable. They were very flirtatious with each other all night! They spent much of the wedding night by each other’s side. And a lot of guests noticed how flirty they were with each other.”

On Dec. 2 Ali tweeted, “This weekend was filled with so much love, romance, happiness, & beautiful friendships. So grateful to have such wonderful people in my life.” People like Roberto? We predict a reunion!

Is Ali Fedotowsky off the market? The 28-year-old reality star and TV host and her ex-fiance Robert Martinez, 29, were reportedly total lovebirds at Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum‘s wedding and Life & Style is claiming they hooked up after the wedding!

“Ali and Roberto hooked up after the rehearsal dinner,” a source says. “They have been talking recently and have been very amicable. They were very flirtatious with each other all night!”

It turns out neither of them brought dates to the wedding and they were with each other all night at the wedding in the San Gabriel Mountains in Pasadena, Calif.

“They spent much of the wedding night by each other’s side,” the source adds. “And a lot of guests noticed how flirty they were with each other.”

The two were engaged about a year ago and Roberto reportedly moved on with Survivor finalist Chelsea Meissner. But it looks like his heart is with Ali!

“Roberto and Ali are still communicating,” the insider adds. “I wouldn’t be surprised if they got back together in the near future.”

Ali Fedotowsky’s fairytale didn’t have a happy ending — and now it seems her ex-Prince Charming, Roberto Martinez, may be ABC’s top choice for the newest season of The Bachelor — and she’s reportedly “freaking out.”

Seeing her former fiancé go through the process of finding love again on television would be a tough pill to swallow for any girl, but that’s not what really has Ali in a panic.

An insider tells Us Weekly that that Ali, 27, is nervous that Roberto would talk about his side of their breakup.

“Roberto has never shared his side of the breakup, and Ali is terrified about what he would say on the show and how she would come off,” the source reveals.

The two ended their 18-month romance in Nov. 2011.

But Ali may not have to see her fears come to light on national television after all. Another source close to her hunky ex revealed Roberto, 29, may not be handing out roses after all.

“He’s happy being out of the spotlight, but he hasn’t ruled it out 100 percent,” the source says.

Roberto is even “calling her” to try and stay in touch, shares the source.

Bachelorette fans were bummed when Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez, 27, called off their 18-month engagement last November and thus, contributed to the franchise’s can’t-get-married-on-reality-tv-for-jack curse!

But apparently, Ali’s been able to recover pretty fast with a new mystery guy whom she met while on vacay, Life & Style reports.

In January, the ambitious blonde was spotted partying with an unidentified man in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and according to her friend, the stud in question is a 33-year-old Canuck named Charlie Ritchie.

“Ali and Charlie went out on several dates,” the friend reveals. “Each night Ali sported a new sundress, followed by sexy bikinis on the beach the next day. She just wanted to have fun.”

And things are starting to get virtually friendly, considering the two are now Facebook pals.

“Ali clearly wants to stay in touch with this guy because they’re friends on Facebook, and she even tagged him in her photos,” says the friend.

Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and her fiancée Roberto Martinez called it quits after an 18-month engagement on Nov. 21. But now Ali seems to be regretting her decision that she dumped Roberto and might even be considering getting back together with him.

“I think there’s always a chance, absolutely,” Ali tells OK! magazine. “Never say never. We definitely had something really special.”

Breaking up is never easy, but Ali reveals her trick to battling the pain. “You have to do things you love,” she shares. “One thing that I do — I know it sounds really corny — but I actually say a lot of self-affirmations.”

“If I’m starting to feel bad about something, I’ll say, ‘You’re a strong woman, Ali,’” she continues. “‘You are strong, you are tough, you will get through this, you can do it.’ It immediately changes my mood and I feel like I could tackle anything.”

As ABC heads into the 23rd season of The Bachelor/Bachelorette, only two relationships have lasted out of the ones formed on the show. Trista and Ryan Sutter have been happily married for eight years — and Ashley Hebert lives with her fiance J.P. Rosenbaum in NYC. But while the most recent Bachelorette breakup took place when Ali Fedotowsky dumped Roberto Martinez, host Chris Harrison maintains that the relationships formed on the show are the real deal.

“Our couples don’t face anything tougher than anybody else in the real world,” Christ tells Parade.com. Everybody can relate to Ali and Roberto and what they just went through — falling in love and then the breakup. I think everybody has been in that position.”

Chris believes that the show builds on real life ideals. “At the base of it all, I think we represent what everybody wants and that’s love and a relationship,” he explains. “We’ve all been through some bad ones and we all hope for the great ones.

Chris even thinks of the cast as his friends, especially the new Bachelor, Ben Flajnik. “It was really like going through this with a friend and feeling their pain and pushing them in the right direction and trying to help them if I feel like they’re about to make a huge mistake,” he says.

While some of the relationships concocted by the franchise seem to harness true emotions, there are some parts that just don’t sit right with how life works outside of TV. No one dates 25 people at once (unless you are Hugh Hefner). People don’t fly around the world in 6 weeks to impress someone else (unless you are Bill Gates). But The Bachelor franchise uses these ideas to build excitement for the show, whether they are realistic or not for the ordinary person.
